We had an amazing experience at Senglea Suites! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and care.
The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. Including made to order eggs/omelettes by Louwrens, Frances and Lőwen was outstanding good — a perfect start of the day.
Eric and Michael are the kind of host who make you feel like family.
Nitish thank you, who was also on hand for anything we needed.

I had an excellent stay at Senglea Suites. The place is incredibly comfortable and cozy, with every little detail thoughtfully designed and clearly made with care. You can really feel the attention and effort that goes into creating a welcoming atmosphere.
The staff are exceptionally polite, attentive, and always focused on the well-being of their guests. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.
The location is also great, with several restaurants nearby and very easy access to public transport, making it simple to get around.
I highly recommend this place. One of the highlights was the amazing terrace view, where I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. It made the whole experience even more special.

Fantastic hosts, hotel and location. Michael and Eric are surely the most attentive hosts we have experienced anywhere and are focused on helping guests heighten the Malta experience. From the warm welcome, explanations and guidance on any topic they can, its hard to imagine it could be better. The hotel is located in a quiet area with close access to lovely restaurants, marina and the ferry to Valletta. Cleaniness, design and breakfast tip-top! We really do hope to go back! :-)

We have just left Senglea Suites after 4 nights and our stay was amazing. Michael and Eric have created a beautiful boutique hotel that’s away from the noise and bustle but close enough to hop on the ferry to Valletta or to visit the harbour-side restaurants that are just a 5 minute walk away in Senglea.
Every aspect of the hotel is tasteful and beautifully presented, and everything has been thought about by Eric and Michael even down to installing an ice machine on the top floor so that drinks on the rooftop terrace can be kept ice cold.
The bed was super comfortable, breakfast is gorgeous and everyone made our stay the best experience we could have hoped for. We will be back! But in the meantime, a big thank you to Michael, Eric, Nitish, Frances and Löwen.

From the moment we arrived at Senglea Suites, we knew we’d found something special. Eric and Michael are the kind of hosts who make you feel instantly at home — warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to share their little slice of Malta with you. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from offering great local tips to making us laugh along the way.
Their staff were just as kind and attentive, always ready with a smile and happy to help with anything we needed. It’s rare to find a place where everyone clearly loves what they do — but here, you can truly feel it.
And then there’s that rooftop. Wow. We spent every evening up there with a drink in hand, watching the sun dip behind the historic skyline. The view over the Grand Harbour is absolutely magical — the kind of moment that makes you forget what day it is and wish you could stay forever.
Senglea Suites isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a little community of warmth, laughter, and Maltese charm. We left feeling completely relaxed and already planning our next visit. The area around Senglea Suites is great for getting away from the hustle and bustle of Valetta which gets busy when the cruise ships arrive. The rooftop terrace was beautiful to have our delicious breakfast on and later enjoy a glass of vino while watching the cruise ships leave on an evening.
We are just sorry we weren’t able to stay longer.

It was the best hotel I have ever stayed in! Michael and Erik had put so much love into every detail. I didn't find anything I didn't like. Everything is just perfect. Everyone who works there is so friendly, and the atmosphere is a dream. I would love to come back one day. The view is beautiful, and we could have breakfast on the terrace, which was the best location. The breakfast itself is very tasty. Thank you for three enjoyable days. It was a pleasure to come back to the hotel after a day of sightseeing and enjoy the atmosphere.

Lovely weekend. 3 nights, couple. In town for a wedding. Fantastic room, with very high quality ensuite bathroom.
Very high quality building and facilities. Great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff and owners around to spread good cheer and great advice. All very amiable. Hotel facilities excellent. I enjoyed sunbathing on the roof terrace with my beers in the ice box dispenser on the top floor. Full A/c. Amazing breakfast.
Hope to go back and stay there again. Highly recommended.

A really wonderful and super friendly, seven night stay for my wife and I with Eric, Michael and staff. Senglea Suites are a superbly appointed place to stay. Renovated, with great taste to the highest standards. As well as looking gorgeous, the rooms are very quiet. The breakfast is a cut above and the ability to take breakfast on the roof terrace, overlooking the Grand Harbour, is a luxurious facility. They also gave us a number of activity recommendations, which really helped us get the most from our holiday. All in all a magnificent holiday.

Absolutely fantastic. The fact the reviews are all 5* says it all. Where do is start… from the hosts who were so warm and friendly, it genuinely felt like we were part of the family. From a fantastic welcoming showing is all around and where the Wi-Fi is, breakfast on a morning to the roof top terrace. Nothing was ever to much trouble and the room, wow absolutely fantastic. I was literally running out of superlatives to describe our stay. Breakfast was excellent with any type of eggs made fresh and toast done for you. Excellent continental choice with nice pastries as well. The location is also fantastic with a five minute walk to the harbour with lots of restaurant choices. Eric and Michael (the hotel owners) were also so welcoming and helpful with places to go and see, parking of you had hired a car and just genuinely nice people. I can't recommend this place enough. I have travelled to many places around the world but this is genuinely the nicest and most friendliest places I have ever been and would definitely go back if not just to see Eric and Michael. Also a special shout out to Matish who greeted us when we got there who was also on hand for anything we needed or had questions about including Eric and Michael. Best place in Malta for the most extraordinary stay! 5

Perfect place for your multi-day stay in Malta! Luxurious, well situated in a much quieter and more enjoyable location than Valetta. Beautifully decorated throught in keeping with the historic traditions but with exquisite modern amenities. Very comfortable King bed and superior breakfasts including made to order eggs/omelets and fresh squeezed orange juice. The hosts are very friendly, informative and helpful. Fantastic, uncrowded local-fare restaurants with harbor views nearby. 6+ stars!

I wish I could give 6 stars! The building is full of character, beautifully renovated, with gorgeous rooms. The staff and owner were friendly, attentive and knowledgable about the local area and the rest of the island. You have to go there!

Great rooms, masterfuly renovated building, very clean, great room service, great breakfast, amazing hospitality. Everyone was very polite and talkative, ready to share information about our stay and their experience. We felt very welcome every moment here.
