The historic interior of the room was absolutely beautiful and full of charm. Unfortunately, the shower drainage was poor, and the church bell next door rang every 15 minutes day and night. I couldn’t sleep at all, which sadly ruined our stay.
Do not stay here if you want to sleep. We made the mistake of not reading the reviews close enough before booking, thank god we only stayed one night because the church bells that are right next door ring every FIFTEEN MINUTES ALL NIGHT LONG. Literally, all night. We thankfully had ear plugs but you can still kind of hear it because its so close and the bell tower is pointed directly at the room. The windows are not sound proof at all, they are very old and thin, some even have panes completely missing. If I owned this airbnb I would do something to try and sound proof the windows even if it was expensive to fix, at least make sure there aren't any missing glass because wow. It also smells like sewage in the hall. The room itself is cute but no amount of cuteness can make up for not being able to sleep all night before a flight.
