I highly recommend the Beach Home Kelaa, where we spent almost a week on our family vacation with three children. It is a unique place due to the hosts (we compare especialy with our later places in the Maldives on two other islands of the southern atolls — another guesthouse and a resort). Thanks to the warmth and kindness of the host, Mr. Moosa, his wife and son Mansif, we were able to get to know the island and the customs and culture of the Maldivians. It is a typical local island, without the crowds of tourists, with a beautiful bikini beach for the guests. Nature and contact with wild animals are at your fingertips here. To the joy of our children, Mr. Moosa accompanied us during the tour of the island or during other trips (e. G. The beautiful island of Uthemuu, where the palace of the Sultan fighting for the independence of the Maldivians is located or during snorkeling with manta rays), where he shared his knowledge about animals and the history of the Maldives. The rooms were clean and tidy, with efficient appliances. There was a place to wash and hang laundry (which is important when traveling with children). We had delicious traditional Maldivian breakfasts and dinners every day. We spend an unforgettable New Year's Eve gala dinner on the shores of the ocean. We thank you from the heart for a wonderful family vacation and as my oldest son said: The real Maldives are on the island of Kelaa at Mr. Moosa — Beach Home Kelaa.
We stayed at the guest house for 2 weeks and had the most relaxing experience ever. The guest house owner Mr. Moosa is very friendly and takes pride in welcoming his guests and making them feel at home. The place is good for families as well as just couples in budget. Due to the Covid pandemic, there were no water sports or any activity as such, however we were still able to enjoy in our own way. Taking a bicycle ride across the village or just watching the sun go down at the beach…it was a memory that we will relish for a long time…. ☺️

Beautiful beach, excellent service, fantastic views, delicious food made our vacation the most beautiful time in our lives. Yet no one has cared for us like Moosa and the service of this guest house. We highly recommend staying at Beach Home on Kelaa Island. We will definitely come back!
