It was a lovely island. From the airport to welcoming was indeed fantastic! The staff are all smiling and very friendly. The room service is lovely. The meals are massive and delicious with all inclusive. There is so many options for buffet breakfast and 4 course menu for lunch and dinner. They even have dinner theme nights which makes your stay even more exciting. And app that keeps you updated with the island activities everyday.
Spa was indeed exceptional! So relaxing 😌 The island is a very good place for snorkeling and diving. The only thing is you might better bring some swimming shoes or the resort will let you rent some snorkeling equipments which will help you swim. The dead corals and stones can be painful if ever you stand on them. The weather in June can be little rain to sunny. It depends. But overall it’s amazing!
It’s an ultimately great place for couples, family or honeymooners. I totally recommend this place. We hope to be back! ❤️

I little piece of paradise. Water room with pool. Stunning especially the lovely sunsets. Only 1km long so if you want some peace & quiet with some of the best snorkelling I have ever had, then I can recommend this place.

Had a great time here. Was a wonderful experience. Just had problem with food as very few veg options. The only thing which was not satisfactory is scuba, they informed me it would be for 1.5 hrs including training explaing and scuba. After the practice of how to breathe in water and all the training session, I had gone for scuba. The actual scuba was only for 15 minutes. It was definitely not worth paying so much just for 15 minutes. Earlier they had informed me that we would be in water for 45 minutes. Bt it was only 15 minutes of scuba and 15 minutes of practicing how to breathe. Very disappointed with this.

Wonderful time at OBLU by Atmosphere! (Still here) Loved the beautiful ambience, the bluest water… super snorkelling experience with the most talented guide — Lier! All staff is very courteous… Personalised sparkling cocktails by our famous, ever smiling Lahiru and team at Helen’s bar… a cheerful Angie serving us the drinks on the deck… Regarding food — oh what a feast with a variety of cuisines… must say each chef is handpicked here, and have magic in their hands — thanks a lot Nirmal, Buddika, Ajay, Ankur, Samanth, Shemal, Aje, Debaraj, Deepak and Stepan! Loved each meal prepared so lovingly by you all… Ahmed, Abdullah, all of you have been so kind and helpful… Nadia, the SPICE restaurant manager is really sweet and greets everyone with such warmth and grace, we look forward each day to see her smile and will surely miss her once we are back to India! Rahul — the front office associate, always prompt and ready to help. Another important thing I would like to mention here —
Things do go wrong sometimes with no ones fault… what matters is how you find solutions and even more important is how you communicate the solution … We must say that Lisa, the GM at OBLU, has an amazing way to manage situations with the guests and ensures things are resolved at the earliest, she is really gracious and also gifted us with a complimentary dinner at the beautiful “Just Grill”! All in all — we are in Paradise!

Absolutely loved the views all round. The food could've been a little better on terms of taste and variety especially for vegetarians. The staff definitely was superb and amazing. They were all very polite and happy to help you always. The property was very well maintained.

Awesome island resort to the moment you leave it, you feel like in heaven! Food spread is amazing, the staff is very courtious and helpful.
Special shout out to AJAY (the resort manager) who was always very helpful guide and made sure to make our stay very pleasant. NADIA (Restaurant manager) she went out of way to take care of veg dishes for us, very interative with guests.
AAHU (water sports incharge) an amazing person, exceptional guide who gave us the best Snorkling Lessons, very warm.
ABDULLAH helped us in transfers and ensured our well being. All CHEFs and staff at Spice restaurant were very courtious.
The highlight of the Oblu Resort is the amazing Snorkling Experience, we saw baby sharks, sting rays, turtles, colourful fishes and dolphins too!
Of course the Hospitality and Service of the dedicated Staff makes it awesome!

Goods on honeymoon there. Wonderful. Super house reef, really very nice employees. Very clean. Super room service. Can recommend it 100% further.

Greet place for retreats. You can see small sharks, rays and other small fish in front of the water lagoons and the restaurant. The private pool is also a greet place to stay cool while watching fish pass through. There are a number of activities inclusively. However, I couldn't get to a fishing trip even if I try to book it from 2 days in advance (since I arrived. ) Other things else were great including services.

We are at the resort now and it is the best hotel we have ever been too, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is amazing. The beaches and water are so clean and clear and the snorkeling is amazing too. We are loving every minute of our stay here.

One thing that stands out in Oblu Helengeli is the rich fish fauna found around the islands house reef. You can even observe the the turtles, various types of rays and baby black tip sharks by standing on the shores of the beach (i have not observed such a biodiversity of fish in any other resort). Food is absolutely divine and service exceptional.

May 2018. Fantastic hotel, can highly recommend. Food and drink in plenty and great quality. Snorkelling on the reef is the best that I’ve seen in the Maldives, unfortunately for me as a diver the diving was not that good. Many drift dives in medium current but not a lot to see apart for dead coral as a result of the high temperatures in 2016. The dive centre are very good and the service excellent. Sadly I won’t be returning but only because of the diving, if you want a great relaxing holiday then I can highly recommend.

This resort is famous for diving and located close to some of the best diving points in North Male' Atoll. Accommodation options are also good and you can choose the beach front front villas to over water villas with pools. Premium all inclusive options allows guests to enjoy a hassle free holiday without worrying about the bill and can enjoy various restaurants and beverage options.

We stayed here at the start of May for our Honeymoon lasting just over a week. We loved every moment. The island is picturesque and beautifully clean. The villas are large and really nice inside, air con kept the temperature nice and cold in the evenings. Despite the island being at full capacity we never really saw more than a few people (apart from meal times) and it all felt very private and spacious. The staff were always saying hello, and you were always met with a smile which really made us feel very welcomed, everyone spoke good English so we found it easy to talk to the staff. The reef was sensational, and we never felt the need to go diving, we saw sharks, turtles, octopus, rays and dolphins. Hours were spent searching the sea bed The food selection was amazing, everything from huge fresh prawns, to lamb chops, and pizza and pasta. I'm sure they'll be something for even the pickiest of diners. I have an allergy to milk and was always helped out with guidance and even prepared special deserts — thank you! Spa was great, we really recommend the couples massage. Extremely hot when we went, so make sure you have very high factor sun lotion especially with light skin!

A paradiset on earth, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the delicious food and wine, beer and drinks. The fantastic room with the pool, the snorkel and dolphin safari. We loaded up and we so want to come back. Hopefully we will and this time with our grown up children and their partners. All the best.

Oblu@helengeli. Our favourite Maldives resort so far (this is our 4th trip to paradise). Oblu has fantastic snorkelling in particular. Have seen turtles, reef sharks stingrays, eagle rays, dolphins and a nurse shark!

Very nice place for vacantion in 2. The island is small… no have place for kids to play but for snorkeling that place is great.

Me and my husband visited Oblu Helelengeli after the recommendations from friends and family! I must say it totally worth it! The Island is very small and therefore feels very private and relax. We had deluxe beach villa which I recommend better then the normal villa because it has own access to the sea and it is on the better side of the island … rooms are cleaned twice a day and everything is extremely clean! Something I m always very picky about :) service in the restaurant and the bar is really good. They see ur glass is almost empty they will immediately ask would u like something else … food in the main restaurant was also very tasty but it gets a bit boring after a week ;) we did twice a dinner in the paid restaurant and this was really amazing experience and money price value is great! The menu I order was with lobster in a 4 course menu for the price for 55 USD and my husband ordered the meat option for 35 USD, the good news we could drink the all inclusive Alkohol and drinks in this restaurant which means u really pay only for the food :) from the water activities we did a jet ski and we went to a sand bank … totally recommendable. And of course every day we did snorkeling. Last but not least to make the relaxation complete we visited almost every day the SPA. The SPA manager Hasan knows how to treat his guest special!

The resort is obviously fantastic. The review is about the diving club and the watersports on offer. The diving experience offered here is 2nd to none with expert instructors for all levels from beginner to well experienced. I came here as a newly qualified diver and instruction and extra tuition received and attention to detail and safety was brilliant. Thanks Sergio, Andrea and all the team. Also on offer is a selection of water sports such as jetskis speedboats, kayaks. Sup boards. I highly recommend jet ski tours. For a modest fee you can have a tour of the island on a jet ski and be taken out of Sandbank where there are giant stingray cycling. Good value and Abu one of the guys was great fun.

Never seen such a warm staff as here! Will always like to go on holiday there.
However, I have to disappoint the divers, the local reefs have largely died down and you can no longer marvel at the colour diversity, in which case you prefer to look for another island …

What a fantastic place! Clean white sand and superduper staff! This is a must-visit! Probably the best holiday we've ever had! Everything was perfect, from beeing received at the airport in Malé, boat transfer with very attentive and friendly staff, and a reception with drums and clapping staff upon arrival on the island! Food here is absolutely exquisite, anything tailored to your needs and the buffet is varied, so you feel like you have different options every day. The staff is SO friendly and helpful, just unbelievable how they make you feel welcome!

The island is great, staff are very friendly and attentive. Great place to relax … Wi-Fi is very very slow, on the stand of a G2 network.
All-inclusive is very disappointing. Drinks are of inferior quality, all inexpensive drinks cost extra … The food, as well.
Excursions have all been cancelled, without any substitute or info.
Transfer costs $480, and you have to wait for collective transfer.

Food is super tasty. Great place, we booked for 3 days; one day at the beach villa and other two days at the normal one. They upgraded us totally to a three day stay at the beach villa. Staff are very friendly. Even if you are on budget I recommend their all inclusive package deals. Highly recommend.

OBLU at Helengeli is heaven on earth! Tremendously beautiful. The house reef is one of the best in Maldives. There is no con I found here during our 5 day stay.

Oblu has friendly staff, amazing views, beautiful accommodation with all facilities including Wi-Fi. The rooms are luxurious well kept, the food is just delicious and the choice well you would have to stay here for a month to try everything, the desserts mouth watering, this is an all inclusive resort and would definitely recommend come over. There are many activities also incuded would say you have to give it a go diving snorkelling parasailing and the spa treat yourself. Thank you Oblu till we meet again.

A small but very comfortable resort on the small island of Helengeli. Very friendly and helpful staff how is doing everything to make the guest's stay as comfortable as possible. There is also an onside PADI diving school.

Value for money for sure! Great place in an excellent price, compared to other resorts! Of course there are better and more luxurious resorts, but you will pay double price and most probably with breakfast only, where here it is all inclusive and there is no debate about it! Very clean and spacious rooms. The personnel is always with a smile and eager to serve you. The food was fantastic! We gained at least 5 pounds in 6 days! The only minus I can mention is the coffee. They do not know how to make a good coffee. My husband had to get into the bar and show them how you make a real coffee! Other than that, it is the perfect exotic place without having to pay a fortune!
