Sojourn is a great place to stay. So nice and clean and it became my home away from home. Linn tries to help you with everything. She makes your stay as comfortable as possible. I never seen someone that is so hardworking in a hostel. I am so happy about her perfect english skills. If I come back to Malaysia I can't wait to come for a visit.

It is a cosy cafe, quiet. I can say it is good for couple and also for single to have a cup of lazy quiet afternoon coffee or tea, relax, detox trip.

More likely to be called an inn. Great enviroment and lively decorations. Clean room and bathroom. The bathrooms are shared, not in each room. Overall, it's great for backpackers and just a night stay.

Very nice place to stay. Rooms and bathrooms are very very clean. Excellent place to stay for small groups (1-4 people). The shared bathrooms can have a queue if there are many guests.

Lovely quaint place. Room is small and comfortable enough with minimal furnitures and fixtures. Good for singles, couples and group of friends but definitely not encouraged for families with children. Everything here is simple but really, really clean even the shared bathroom. Next trip to Taiping, will definitely stay here again.

Nice place with enough room to store your bicycle. We even got an upgrade to the bigger double room when we asked for the smaller double room. Breakfast is toast and jam — but good jam. Coffee and tea all day. Friendly staff and a cheap food court round the corner.

Pod bed is good. But if you get the upper deck, its real challenge. Try to request lower deck or take another room. All affordable rate. But most importantly awesome hospitality by the owner.

Great! Great! Extreme cleaning, full equipment working fine and well maintained. Very cosy and well decorated with personal stuff and fo e taste. The best guesthouse I have never seen in that range of price. Definitively recommended.

Warm guesthouse with very caring owners. And residents. Just a warm reminder to visitors. For big holidays, you need to arrange transportation in advance, including express coach. I missed my flight yesterday. Try to take train if you can. If you take buses, select from reliable companies except Starmart. If you take Starmart, you need to reserve at least 8 hrs before flight to play safe as they discharge customer at KL BTS station and another KL station. This is a happy stay anyway. The Taiping lake walk is refreshing!

Great place to stay! Owners are wonderful people and always there to assist you when needed. Really like how they've preserved the beauty of an old shop house, every corner has something to remind you of the olden days. The location is superb, walking distance to famous local eats, market and the beautiful Taiping Lake Garden. The train station is just a short 5-10 mins drive away. I would definitely come back again!
