It was a pleasure to be here. Great hospitality. Great and helpful staff. Very romantic scenery. If you want to have candle light dinner you can try at moon deck restaurant. Wish to come here again after MCO.

VERY friendly and HELPFUL staff. Clean rooms and a nice property. Nice private beach. Loses points because there is only 1 ferry out in the morning at 9:45am and the last ferry back is at 7:45pm.

I have only been here once but I fell in love with the place! Your staff are all so accommodating and courteous. The room was really spacious. The food was also yummy and pleasant. I got a complimentary cake on my birthday and the chef was kind enough to say hi and have a picture with us after having a sumptuous dinner at your moondeck. The boat service and golf-cart ride from the dock to the room and vice versa, and even ushered us to and from the moondeck is truly commendable! The only area of improvement that I can pinpoint is probably your wine selection and the mosquito problem at the moondeck. I don’t remember (correct me if I’m wrong) you having a wide array of options. Please have more white wine options like asti, prosecco, moscato and the likes for sparkling wine lovers like myself. As for the mosquitoes, please do something about it. Although they gave us free mosquito repellant lotion, they are still a turn off especially when someone is about to pop the question yet you get a bite here and there. Maybe planting citronella around may help? But overall, my experience with you was one for the books and I look forward to visiting again one day. ❤️

It has been a memorable experience for us who specially chose this isolated but beautiful property for our Anniversary celebration.
The staff is very professional with a personal touch and they took care of every need during our stay there for a couple of days.
Food & beverages are also good with many varieties to choose from.
The property is a well maintained one with an adjoining beach to spend your own time there.

The best resort in Lankawi Beautiful view from room… They provide many options for food and other facilities… you can hire a private tour from there to visit near by places… Recommended.

Lovely location. Amazing beach. Good facilities. A tree fell near our room because of the rain so there was constant disturbance to uproot it. It would've been ideal otherwise.

We keep coming back and for good reason. The rooms are amazing, the food is superb and most of all — the attentive and kind staff who go the extra mile for you.

As this was a Taj property, I booked this. It is quite good secluded island. It is in the tropical forest. It rained most our stay but it was intermittent. Really awesomeness huge cottages. We took 2 bedroom one, Each cottage has 4 separate 2 bedrooms. They have good spread on the buffet, with live South Indian counters for Dosa. They try to restrict you in the island to make you eat in the restaurant, saying ferry stops at 7, but actually they have ferry services till midnight for the staffs, which we can use. So we can enjoy other restaurants in the main Island.

Vivanta is on a small island called Rebak, 10 mins by boat, off main land Langkawi. It's a beautiful property, with a small beach. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, it's perfect. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing — some of the best Indian food I've had in this part of the world! The beach is a bit rocky so it's not amazing to swim in unless it's high tide. Also the pool is a bit small for the size of the property and tends to get crowded. Other than that would definitely recommend the property!

Probably the best resort in Langkawi. Don't be swayed away by the boat ride. That takes just 5 minutes. Once here, the natural beauty is me is mesmerizing. You'll be hard pressed to want to go to main island. We recommend to cover everything you have to there and come back to the resort in early evening and enjoy here. The nature walk, bike ride, pool, moon deck, food, private beach are all really worth it.

Situated on a private island, you are ferried to the hotel by the hotel’s private ferry. The reception at the ferry is professional and friendly. The timings are fixed and closed after 8 pm. The checkin is fast and rooms are tastefully done. The rooms we got were overlooking the beach and offered a great view. The restaurant offers a wide range, but if crowded service level lacks. The beach and the pool are worthy. A typical relaxing holiday.

The resort offers various amenities including a very nice and large pool, spa, open air massage, restaurants and others. The rooms were nice and clean. The highlight is the staff. They are very courteous and helpful. We enjoyed Indian food. The hotel offers free transfer from the airport to the island and back.

I always used to appreciate the services of Taj till the time I entered Taj Rebak Island Langkawi. Now it’s more than 3 am & I am still struggling with the basic facilities in my room provided by the Taj management.
It all started with the basic food for babies less than 2 years. At the time of booking we were told that the food for babies will be complementary but after reaching here on 8th May we had to explain each & every guy who picked up the phone on kitchen about it as they denied the food to be complementary.
From yesterday water was coming out of the AC, we complained but nothing happened. Tonight the AC was not cooling properly but we were told that it’s working fine & we should be able to manage. After calling here & there, at last the room was changed at around 2 am.
Now when we are trying to sleep after struggling for more than 2 hours, we found bed bugs on the bed. We killed around 11-12 bed bugs but still many are found here & there. Now we are changing the room again.
I have never ever got this kind of pathetic service in any of the other Taj I stayed before.

Excellent place to stay with your whole family or friends. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Rooms are great and the beach is amazing. Food is great too. The pluses are amazing beach pool food and the quaint serene place. Con is that it's away from the main island and you are dependent in their boat service to get in and out. The ferry service is every 75 mins so you need to wait or hurry depending on how late or early you are. Great choice if Indian food that makes it easy for travelers from India. Overall I give it a 4.5 out of 5

This hotel is located on a private island. Staff is courteous and helpful. Main restaurant has a very limited food options. We wanted to eat something in chicken however there were only two chicken dishes. We asked Chef to prepare other dish in chicken however the experiment was not worth. Seafood restaurant near beach is worth penny. Lobster with Indian spices is must try. They have a moon deck for romantic dinner with your partner. This place is 15 mins away from mainland by boat ride. Boat rides are free however hourly frequency sometimes make it frustrating to wait. They have private boats too but they cost you approx RM 250. Property is neatly maintained and they provide free nature walk where they explain about Flora.

Make sure you don't miss the boat (you'll understand what I mean once you visit) and beware of the Mosquitoes (take some cream).

Excellent property at a private island. Time just passes by in a nice pool bar, move onto a great lunch and then happy hour by the beach and finish off a wonderful day with a nice dinner by the beach. All in all a great place if you dont want a busy sightseeing vacation.

Excellent property to enjoy holidays with private beach and good food. Only drawback is that the access is only by boat and we have to keep up with the timing of the boat. Last boat is at 7pm and hence night life of lankgawi cannot be enjoyed.

Highly recommended for Indian food lover in foreign land. Developed in best location with taking care of Nature. Service is at best as per Taj standard. To pay little high cost.

Great place to excape from busy work. So relaxing and peace. Also good for honeymoon as this place perfect for romantic feeling. The sunset view also superb.

A nice hotel on a small island near Langkavi. Clean beach, secluded place, near the marina. Free boats are delivered from the hotel to the main island on schedule.

Everytime to go in and out this Resort was a kind of boat tour because the location itself is a island. Nice garden and many kinds of bird welcomed us. All staffs are very warm enough to feel like more than 5 stars rate.

The paradise on earth has a name and it is Vivanta Resort Langkawi. This resort is on an island from Langkawi, you can feel pampered since you arrive to take the boat till you go back home, actually was sad to leave the place. Staff is amazing, helpful and polite. Food is delicious and worth to try, all the rooms have a stone-wood style decoration that meets the highest standards of a Taj resort. If you look for a relaxing time surrounded by wild nature, cristal clear beaches and top-noch hotel services you must book your room at Vivanta Resort — Rebak Island.

Perfect Place for Honeymoon! Privacy Cleanliness 5/5. Boatride, Nature walk, Cycling and many other Games. Feedback : They should have more boats to city as well till 9 maybe if in case someone wants stay late. Your Team should extend checkout by 1 hour, instead of making them wait in a tent house.

A 3-star experience at a 5 star property. It's an old property of Taj, but not well upgraded. I found lacking to check if the basic amenities are working or not. Changed room since the toilet wasn't working. But found the same problem in the new room. Food is good but not excellent or very memorable. Pools are small compared to the property. Good access to the beach. Hospitality of the staff is good, who try to solve your problems ASAP.

Great resort island to visit for the Holidays. Pool and most amenities are up to Western standards. Great marina and restaurants; and, if you don't mind a brief (and free) water taxi ride, the mainland has plenty more plus duty free shopping! Cheers!

Excellent place for a perfect holiday, quiet & beauty of nature everywhere. Well managed by very friendly and responsive staff members! Restaurant ambience is perfect, located by the pool and very close to the see view. Only negative point to note, with too many Indian guests, chefs are good in Indian food. Need to improve taste of western or malay or thai dishes to give the impression of an international restaurant.

Resort experience like no other… a private tropical island … just off rhe main island… with a beautiful pool facing the sea! Great restaurant… fabulous breakfast spread… nice & cozy rooms! Great service!

The resort is good and being situated on an island is very calm and serene. The staff is very helpful and accommodative. It is ideal for people who just want to relax and not for people who want to be on the move and explore Langkawi. The boat timings bound you to a certain schedule with the last boat to the hotel scheduled at 7:45 pm; this makes it difficult for people to enjoy the nightlife in Langkawi.

We spent 5 days on that resot in 2013. It was so lovely. Their staff were very friendly, best ever customer service. I would say for our experience it was the best hotel we've been to. If you plan to go for honeymoon then stop searching!

A beautiful getaway on a private Island. If you want a really relaxing time spend two nights here. The resort is self-sufficient with a pool spa fitness centre so you get to spend time in isolation. You will just not have enough of the nature's beauty.

Beautiful resort, if you are looking for a place away from the bustle of the normal Langkawi beach resorts. Excellent service, especially at the pool bar. Food kind of spoils the picture, since you do not have any other option, and thr ferry to mainland is only once an hour.

My friends and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and one of the reasons our stay turned out to be amazing was because of the friendliest staff. Be it at the bar, in the lobby, at the restaurant, or at the front desk, they all knew us by our names and catered to all our needs. Our favorite spot at the hotel was the happy hours bar on the beach. They made some of the most amazing cocktails and the bartenders told us a lot about the Malaysian culture. The hotel itself is spectacular and you won't regret staying here! Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday one of the best!

Fairly quiet. It has a boat for transfers (complimentary) to/from main island. The food is mostly based on Indian cuisine, so expect it to be spicy and hot. The hotel is located on the final approach/landing of Lankawi Airport, so every hour there is an aircraft landing (expect aircraft noise, both turbo prop and turbofan).

Excellent getaway for a few days. The entire island is beautiful with lots of amenities and friendly staff all around. The views are amazing including the sumptuous food. Definitely recommended.

The service is excellent, cannot find any fault with the staff, service, food is super nice esp Indian food, location is perfect on a private island. Internet speed can be improved though.

Not a Five start hotel. Services are not worth the price we pay. Not the normal Taj Vivanta, one would expect. You will get same or little less than what you pay for. Very expensive. Better to spend this much amount in some other good five star hotel.

Ok hotel but charge you 160 for boat shuttle after 8pm. Staff friendly except for check in and out. Just under neath airplane route.

Christmas Eve night, one night, an island of a hotel, the natural environment is very good, very suitable to come to rest, the special birds and plants, the Christmas atmosphere, the food is expensive and type. Most suitable night for a run, to the beach, some sun, read a book, less scenic, quiet, basically is the Western human lives. The room is also good, is a building of a building.

Staff were friendly+helpful and the rooms+resort were great. However the Wi-Fi is probably the slowest I've every experienced at about 0.3 kilobytes/second shared across a maximum of 3 devices. The boat trip was also a downside, although it was short. They also offered bike and jet ski hire around the island, as well as providing facilities including a tennis court and a pool.

It is an Isolated Resort with a beautiful surrounding and excellent for relaxing. Staff members were kind and helpful. Food are great! We are happy been here. ☺

Beautiful island and resort, but somewhat inconvenience due not enough transport ferry.

Fantastic resort. It can be quite hazy and hot in June but we don't mind lazing by the awesome pool. The rooms are very spacious with a California king bed that's as wide as it is long. Lovely bathroom with two sinks, but some of the fittings and details are starting to show their age. Excellent service all round, amazingly tasty (and cheap! ) cocktails during happy hour. They have a range of activities, we made use of yoga and the cooking class. We actually missed the class but the staff kindly organised a special one just for us! A couple of things to note: The resort is on an island, which means there is only one restaurant (the resort's) to eat at. Also, the beach isn't filled with beautiful white sand and crystal clear water — it's secluded, but only us able at high tide and the water is a bit murky. In June there seems to be a lot of haze due to the humidity, so the view isn't very clear. The internet is really bad, it's free Wi-Fi but extremely slow. Not that you should really be using the internet at a beach resort! Make sure you phone before you arrive to arrange a free airport pickup. You'll transfer to a jet boat and the ride takes about 10 mins to the island.

It was an awesome property to stay. The Staff members were kind and helpful (Antony Dave). Felt it was my home with loads of food with varieties. People should really go to this place. It would be great if some water sports is kept to a side with less price :-P, understand that it would be noisy. Rooms were just clean and neat with good interior. :-) ) I would give 9 out of 10 Rank. :-).

As the names suggests it's an Isolated location, excellent for relaxing. Friendly staff, great food and Taj Hospitality make it's a one of the best place to stay in Langkawi.

We had a lovely stay here. Sun kissed sand, great food, caring staff! It feels like you have escaped to a secluded place where you can forget your day to day worries. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I had one of my rare but best holiday here with real rest and recreation true to the word. Its worth every cent and more for the facility helpful people, multi national and racial management of the resort. Just makes you feel at home plus the natural beauty and all kinds of sport you can handle. I was with friends and all of us came back with a sad face while leaving the island where we had peace contentment fun and joy. I am sharing this as I would like others to have the same pleasure I had.
