When requested for replacement room, staff keep telling hotel fully booked wherelese it doesn't seems so…
* no soundproofing between rooms. Simple speech can be heard other rooms.
Lousiest hotel I ever been!

Not recommend at all! Toilet can't use, call 3 times the maintenaner only come to repair it. Bed is dirty, no toothpaste! No hair dryer, need to borrow from the counter and they limited 1 hour use only!
Breakfast is suck, spoon is like no wash properly at all, can see the oil staining on the spoon.

As it was mentioned in several other comments the best thing about this resort is the location. It is located in the heart of Pantai Cenang. Breakfast also was good. Comparing to other hotels it was acceptable. Variety of breads and 4 types of foods and salad and omelet. Room cleanness was OK. The only thing was the bed sheet. The cover doesn't feet and the main bed sheet got stains of lipstick and other stain on it. Room service was good.

Really have Amazing location in beach but the hotel need updating in every thing specially rooms, toilets and others. Staff are so friendly and nice. I don't recommend for it.

The hotel stands on a lovely beach in a great position, sadly the hotel is showing it's age and needs updating, The staff on check in were friendly and efficient, breakfast was extra at 20 MYR (less than £4) buffet breakfast looking out to sea … It's a budget hotel so I guess what we paid, we can't grumble too much … Just needs updating and a few repairs here and there Otherwise a great beach location.

Very noisy place. Could hear the neighbour's TV, their discussions, their 5:30am alarm, the beach parties at night, the guests walking in the hallway, etc. Needless to say, we finished the week more tired than in the beginning. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable, the mattress was good. The air-conditioning was loud. No power outlet next to the bed. Rest was nice (bathroom, service, location). The hotel restaurant had barely no vegetarian options so we didn't go, the breakfast had a good selection except for fruits (only watermelon).

Nice location. All points goes to location. Room spacious but bathroom was very poor. Tape was malfunction.

It was excellent stay at Best star. We stayed there for 3 nights. The view was excellent, the room was big, very good room service also. Very much recommended.

Generosity is not to be expected. For two towels, one small soap, no hairdryer, no balcony, nowhere to dry clothes. If you travel light, you need to consider it all.
Lighting in the room is minimal.

Nice location. I took sea view room. Just less than 10 steps can easily access to beach.

Good value for money. I loved the fact that one entrance opened to the beach while other entrance opened to the market. Good place.

The hotel is conveniently located in the first line… But the first two floors are very dark. As all rooms have a view of the wall… The deluxe rooms are much prettier. The big minus… The breakfast was good. It has all the possibilities… Good that there are sunbeds near the pool. This is a huge plus. Almost lying on the beach… Very comfortable.

Not working toilet flush (water flow into tank too slow), not working mini bar in the room (very important to me as I was keeping my breastmilk inside), rusty kettle (however managed to get new one), bursting water tap. Very noisy, could hear people talking outside the room, woke my baby up. Staff is courteous. Small swimming pool at the beachfront.

Good location. No breakfast, no new. But there is a small pool, free sunbeds and next to the sea. Duty free directly opposite. Close to many cafes.

We were given a connecting room so we could hear the other room all the time. It’s also near the main beach activities so if you want to sleep early expect some noise. The bathroom floor was clogged and there was no electrical socket beside the bed. Can’t complain for the cheap price. Location is good though it’s right infront of the Duty Free shop and late check out is at 20RM per hour. Photo attached is the beach area directly outside the building.

Terrible. Like in prison! No windows, no hoods in the rooms! Oppressive the price-quality. Near many other hotels with the best usdovijami and for less money.

Good location. There are many shops and restaurants in the district, including the beach. The room has a fridge, kettle, safe, tea, coffee, cream, sugar, water. There are free sunbeds on the beach. Has a swimming pool. The room was clean and tidy. We had to pay 40 ringgit for 3 hours. Good value for money.

I choose to stay in the Best Star Resort for the reasons very friendly staff, very clean room and it's convenience to me. The interesting place must visit to those who love reading books, there is a special bookstore nearby the resort. But you have to walk a bit till u see this bookstore ‘ Your Language Books Corner’. Do not forget to see the friendly owner … Miss Mislia and her husband.

The hotel faces Pantai Chenang directly and you can enjoy the sunset around 7pm onwards. There are restaurants nearby and you can do water sports (parasailing, banana boat, etc) both in the morning and evening. The price for the room is good. The staffs are helpful. There is RM50 deposit and will be returned upon checkout. The hotel is at strategic location; the mall, Underwater World, duty-free zones are at walking distance.

Good hotel in its price category. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Come here-understand. It is Langkawi and the first line and sunbeds and pool and no need to lie on the sand… Dark rooms. Take the superior. Ask for breakfast… Sunsets and sea compensation for 3 *.

Great resort, has a beach view… Good facilities… The rooms are small but the beds are big and comfy.

No bum gun in toilet only a pipe. Heater does work properly. Should be a separate shower other than the bathtub one. Otherwise the room is good. I was in super deluxe sea view room. The view from the bed and the room was great.

Great location, good budget resort has a good inhouse restaurant. Our room had a sea view. Overall it was good except AC was not working in full power and it was quite hot as no fans inside room.

Comfy to stay. Budget hotel, but nice. The rooms range for small to large, depending on your needs. The beds are a little bit hard but still comfy enough.

Be aware that no extra key card given and if you lose one you are charged for it.

Beachfront location. Clean room and bathroom. Great view. Got hotel restaurant and I think got 10 percent off your food. Swimming pool also good for kids to enjoy. Location great.

Location is very nice, rooms are good. Two things to note are 1. They only provide two 600ml water bottles/night. 2. Mandatory tourism tax of 10 ringgit/night, which is applicable in all hotels I believe.

Un 10! La gente que trabaja en el hotel es encantadora, son muy amables y serviciales, las habitaciones superlimpias, el Wi-Fi funciona bien, el hotel es muy céntrico y está en una calle tranquila y el dueño es un tio estupendo, lo dicho: de 10.

Better location compared to opposite side of hotels. Price is reasonable and room has kept cleanliness.

Dirty, nothing really works. For late departure 20 Ringitov per hour per room, on the territory-the most expensive café in the city with the slowest service.

Strategic location, along the shopping area, access to the beach behind hotel. Clean and convenient.

You have to pay for any additional towel, coffee, etc… good location. Staff attitude isn't that good. The swimming pool wasn't that clean.

Good place for accommodation at best rate. For indians its best, because nearby only so many indian restaurant are there.

Rooms are huge! Beach front! Beautiful pool! Accessible! The best part is you are just one step to Duty free shops!

Best for the People who wants 24 hour access to the beach anytime — this is a beach front resort. To getting around also very easy from this resort. Front Desk service is not 24 hours and It's 9 AM to 10 PM. Overall Rooms are clean have AC and heater.

Great location, good value for money, friendly staff and the room was very clean and comfortable. There is a pool not a big truth but clean is on the beach which is very convenient, beach and sea is clean without narikanij sand white, in the evening next to hotel spend fire-show there great music and hookah.

Average hotel for 1-2 days. Bad beach and shallow pool. Huge number of guests with children.

Today we stopped at this hotel, came the first time a young man at the reception did not pay attention to us, left, passed the wager of meters and thought that we will stop here and only from the second visit with us hello. Chose the cheapest room for 180 (local currency). The room is damp, the window goes into the hallway, it seems that no one room is cleaned after the previous occupants, lying hair on the floor and rubbish. Plus the hotel it has a swimming pool where children can swim and it is on the first coastline. All.

We stayed for 4days at this hotel and it was very well priced and perfectly located in Cenang beach road. Outside there are many places to eat both formal and informal as well as a variety of shops. The rooms are basic but very neat and tidy. You get two bottles of complimentary water each day and coffee/tea topups. The room has a TV with no English channels and a safe. The bathrooms are also clean and well maintained. Overall a nice hotel to stay at.

I stayed with my family there once and pretty much liked the place. Rooms are clean and big and on the beach and at the same time all the popular restaurants are just within reach and all walking distance. It's on Pantai Cenang so you will get everything you are looking for. I would recommend for those who are not looking for a 5 star kind of facilities and value for money!

Budget hotel, not much of service they didn't even refill the tissue and no one ever answers the call at the reception. Average room next to the beach.

Classy hotel. A good place.

Located in the heart of hangouts, all bars restaurants here. Clean sea, white sand beach with the simple but everything in the room is, it's worth the money.

Excellent location, good sized rooms, big washroom with electric geaser, beach facing resort, every thing you need is at walking distance. Reasonble speed of Wifi, few TV channels, electric cattle, fridge and peaceful environment. No breakfast, nobody on counter after 12 MN.

Good location with good sunset viewing but room very old and the toilet facilities very poor. Toilet blocked, water heater paip was leaking. Now under renovation. Hope they can become better.
