Hotels in Alor Setar with Breakfast

Didnt take any photos of the room, but the room with king size bed is quite spacious. Clean and cozy. Next to Aman Central. Definitely our favourite place for staycation.

This is a hotel that leaves a great impression. From check-in to check-out, the entire process was smooth and well-organized.

First time book this hotel for our CNY family visit trip. This hotel is abit old but overall quite clean. Staff is quite friendly as well. One major thing to highlight is that their bed is so comfy!

We are a family with three children from Kuala Lumpur and stayed at StarCity Hotel for two nights as we had family and friends’ events in Alor Setar.

Great find in Alor Setar! This 2024 apartment is very new and clean. It had everything we needed, including dishwashing supplies and a working microwave.

Lovely place for vacation, the suite room is clean the view was superb, for sure will come back again… Ya, the food that the Malay restaurant nextdoor is exquisite.

There is a short cut way to get to Dataran Alor Setar from this hotel by crossing the river. Few years back have to walk quite far.

I was visiting from Canada and stayed for 2 nights. Front desk girl Isha was very nice and polite. Other staff of hotel were also good.

Room is big and can easily accommodate 4 adults. In room facilities are adequate and the inclusion of iron and ironing board is a thoughtful one.

I would like to commend Mr. Hafez Suib from the front desk for his exceptional professionalism and politeness. I checked in on Saturday, 27 December and checked out on Sunday, 28 December 2025.

The hotel had seen its glorious days. However at the price offered incisive of breakfast I’d say it’s worth the money. Bfast was humble but nice.

I stayed at the Grand Alora Hotel in Alor Setar for two nights on a business trip. Everything is ok and I think the hotel management should look into this issue.

Great place with value. The room a little bit old but the facilities function as it is. Staff was friendly & helpful. Nearby Stadium & other food stall. Just next to KFC when youre carving at night.

Nice n delicious food. Highly recommended for iftar ramadhan.

I'm on the fence about how to rank this hotel. For a property that's rated at least four stars, I would typically expect amenities like a swimming pool and a gym.

Staying here to focus on the completion of some office works. This place is pretty new and such very clean with spectacular Alor Setar view from suburb.

I stayed here from the 13th to 14th May. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The air conditioner control is easy to administer, screen is clear and has Bloomberg business channel.

Stayed here during Ramadan 2026 and honestly, the iftar buffet is on another level. Easily one of the best I’ve had even compared to some hotels in Kuala Lumpur.
