Decent resort especially for a last minute trip and family friendly.

Great place but a pity f&b outlets are only operating on weekends. Anyway keep up the good work Mines.

Comfort room and friendly staff.

To be honest this is the worst experience ever. Starting from check in, car park services, hospitality, customer service, food, accommodations. The resort is in terible state. We pay almost RM320 not included RM100 as deposit per night for 2 pax. We have taken few photo to justify our reason why we rated this resort as teribble. Not recommended!

My stay was very pleasant and comfortable. Room was ok. And the staff was very polite and helpful especially Mr. Afiq. Good service.
And the location near shopping mall. Mr. Afiq have a good personality and give a very good service. Sure we will come again. Coz our favourite spot and the pool/beach area…

Went there for grilled buffet dinner 50% promo just now. Honestly this is the worst buffet i’ve ever experienced in my entire life. I mean the food. The staff is good. I dealt with Chan, he is very helpful and polite, the other malay guy also good. But I am not satisfied with a chinese lady, I believe she is a supervisor there coz she isn’t wearing any uniform. I requested the grill to be medium well but she said medium well is not halal for muslim coz of the blood and when I insist to get it medium well, she said what i’ve been served on the table is medium well (but it’s not! ). She is not professional at all. I am not a first timer trying steak or grill. So pls. For foods, to be honest the sushi, fruits, & cakes, juice are not fresh. Obviously the sushi and cakes coz cakes already turned out like roti kering. Idk how many days they’ve been served there. The juice also not fresh, the watermelon taste is obviously not fresh. Even the price is 50%, still I feel not satisfied with this buffet. Worst ever! strongly not recommend everyone to come.

Great environment and comfortable suite.

Gorgeous scenary with lots of green, beautiful sunset and many more. Room is perfect and great place to escape for holiday. Quiet and relax, just listen to the birds in the morning and with all the green around and you will feel energetic. It an ideal place for mediatation and yoga classes. Is a two thumb up for their management and staff for the job well done. Will be coming back for the next holiday escape.

Mosquitoes problem still have. And check out at 11am. Their buffet brkf need to improve. I order food at night its the same food I had for brkf. They just heat up and give. Not good.

I didn't know of its existence until we went there for a short holiday… I am sure they did some refurbishments to the rooms, unlike some reviews read prior… the man made beach was inviting… the Mines Shopping Center is about 5 minutes walk away, having to walk through the carpark of Mines Convention Center first… would be better if there are more signs to the hotel but I guess they have their reasons… also a cafe or something like it would be nice instead of having to walk the distance… the cafe in its premises charges a premium… but at times at night… the quietness is broken by noise from the nearby business square…

Lovely place. The pool beach is nice but the water is not salty it's like freshwater. The scenery is beautiful. The room is nice with carpet in it's room, safe for baby and children.

Nice rooms & amenities including man-made l beach & lake. Close to shopping mall, and an international-standard exhibition conference & convention center nearby. Non-smoking policy strictly observed within its compound.

Great place to stay. I didn’t encounter any of nrgative incidents that other people commented. I have nothing negative to tell you. Hotel staffs were nice and friendly, specially the reception lady in the night shift. That was her last day of the work before she went back her own home. I wish her the best of luck!

After so long and I thought after new management take over I would ve a better experience when I am check in. Look like its worst than the last time I was here during the old management. When I check in they ask me to wait for my room since the normal check in time is 3pm. I said fine and I requested for early check in and they ask me to wait for half and hour for the room to be ready. I arrived at the hotel at 12.30pm. I requested one room with king size bed facing the poo…l and one standard room. My my surprise the supervisor told me the room facing the pool is for their in house guests only. In my mind I was thinking WHO AM I? Is that how you treat your other guest just because I book through Palace Vacation Club? Aren’t they paying to Philea Mines Beach Resort? 1.15pm they said my room is ready and my my surprise when to the room the housekeeping ppl still there cleaning my room. Came back to the reception area and they blame the system for releasing the room. Who is controlling the system? Ask for FOM but they told me the person is on leave today. As of now the experience is not WOW like I check in other hotel. I am disappointed Hope shortly when I ve my room all is clean ac us working and no issues with the toilet as some of the previous guests experienced and written in the review. Hopefully when the FOM return to work tomorrow I can talk to him or her.

I went there for facial appointment with Herbaline. The building is very oil with funny smell. Staff are attentive and very nice to me.

Amazing place, the lobby is type of outdoor building, rooms is having great view over the sea.

Beautiful resort 30 mins by taxi from KLCC. By the lake, next to Capital shopping mall and with an amazing gold court. Strongly recommended if you wanna avoid the chaos and traffic of downtown.

Went for a work meeting here. Looks nice and well equipped. Has a nice and relaxing lakeside view and feel. It is relatively close to Mines Exhibition Centre and Mines Shopping Mall, so it is quite convenient location.

The rooms are nice and spacious and the location is strategic (there's a mall nearby and it has a lakeview), but the food is bland and has a limited variety. The pool also looks very scary (it has a no swimming sign and the water is super dirty, looks like you can hide a dead body in it).

The location is pretty good considering it's accessible to the airport & downtown, there's a mall nearby, staff are friendly & helpful & the view from the room is decent. However, the hotel amenities such as the pool & the rooms are dated & not very well-maintained.

Nice place for short weekend getaway. Near to city only. You will get everything near by only. There is mall attached to it. Breakfast has good option and they will prepare on demand also. Good option for vegetarian also.

My honest comments: Food not as expected and need to improve drastically. Yesterday, the mutton soup was tasteless, not aromatic, rice served with all the burnt portion from the bottom of the pot, except your fried bee hoon this morning, it was good and that save the day, Swimming pool not clean, dare not let my kids to be in there, staff/ service not bad…

Needs a general overhaul. Rooms are quite big.

Good place if you just need a place to crash after attending an event at Mines Convention. Service is good and the beds are comfortable. Amenities are alright and air-conditioning is adequate. That's the good part. For the price I paid, I expected working hot water showers, free Wi-Fi and clear TV channels. There was no hot water by nine pm, which only returned the next morning at about 730am. Staff told us that this was a common occurrence when the hotel is fully occupied which is unacceptable. You need to pay for Internet and the ASTRO channels were a bit blur. Unless you need to be literally next to the Mines Convention Centre, try another hotel.

Scenery, helpful staff, room, food all are great.

First the good: Staff are very friendly, view is amazing and soothing. The vast lobby still holds a lovely sense of the grand vision for this hotel when it was founded. Room was neat and clean. Lovely balcony with a little table for enjoying a late night aperitif overlooking the lake. The mediocre: Moving out of the lobby you will go into a hotel in sad decline. This is the authentic "distressed" look that is so carefully reproduced on retro furniture. The food. Is optimistically "mixed" quality — realistically though — it totally ruins a meal to have stale items show up on your plate. The "wellness" theme seems a little tongue in cheek when "fish and chips" is recommended for the omega 3 in the fish. No toothbrush in room, but very quickly provided by the friendly staff. The pool. Scary water colour may just be part of the natural beach look. But regardless. It is a little off putting. The bad: This is sadly what drove me to write a review. "Internet" service can only operate on one device per room. This is extremely frustrating for the modern business traveller! A phone and laptop at a minimum. For myself, Two phones, two tablets and an ultra-book — EXTREMELY frustrating to only be able to connect one at a time through clunky internet login. As soon as second device logs in, first device will be booted. This is insane. I don't even know why it is so incensing. One internet connection is better than none. But there you have it. Drove me crazy.

Have a nice view of the lake at night. Short distance to Mines Shopping center.
