Friendly staff and spacious rooms. Great for family! Love that it was connected to a shopping centre so we were never out of options for food and shopping! We love the children's pool and infinity pool too! Great for the kids to splash around in. Value for money! Highly recommended.

Service isn't great, they made a mistake with my booking and insisted I only had breakfast for one — my Agoda booking clearly states I have breakfast for two. Didn't apologise to me after they clarified with their booking team. Rooms are old and in need of renovation. Breakfast was okay and location to the nearby malls is good. Service and hotel condition is a let down. Not a 5 star hotel, more like 3.

An awesome hotel with strategic location, which is in Damansara area. Next to it are shopping malls, "E-curve", "The Curve", "Ikea" and "Tesco" which are minutes away by walking. The surrounding is very happening. Food is everywhere… MRT station is also very near.

It's a nice place to stay. With shopping mall. Ikea, curve, ipc mall. surrounding is very quite.

Convenient place if you wish to explore Damansara. It's quite far from KL City but close to other attractions like One Utama, the Curve & Kidzania. Transportation is also easy to get with an MRT station nearby.

Quiet and good hotel. Service is nice and consistent. Wi-Fi connection is stable, if not very fast. I have been using here for tens of times but never felt uncomfortable. I like breakfast here, especially salad. Many variaties of fresh vegetables, peas, beans and more.

Good services. Only the food. Not so many choices of buffet breakfast. Pool view was superb. Near to the mall. The hotel have connection to the mall. Easy to find food. Shops are nearby. Easy to access everywhere.

Big place, great breakfast, walking to reach ecurve, curve and ikea make it a great choice to stay. Only 1 things bad about it, late cleaning causing late checkin, we have to wait from 2pm till 5pm. And the receptionist show a horrible black face when serving us. Which I gave it only 2 star.

Base on the room, it's a good place to stay. Train station nearby, ikea, one utama for shopping.

The room is great. The beside E-Curve & The Curve shopping mall. Only downside the route to the hotel a bit tricky.

I would say its consistently inconsistent. Some days I would have 2 towels, some days 1, someday with face towels, some days none. Newspapers, out of 7 days, I had papers for only 2 days… But the breakfast is pretty much the same stuff. Not too bad, quite comprehensive. The condition in the room… well… its time to renovate…

Five star hotel at the heart of Damansara area. Ivory color wallpaper theme provides warmth and elegant feel. Hotel is so wide so that you can access your room through three elevator locations.

Nice decor. Cosy. Lovely pool. Website shows bathtub, main reason why I booked. But they said bathtub rooms only for "club members". Receptionist's soft voice n heavy Indian accent made it almost impossible to understand her.

Clean and nice hotel. There is a link bridge from the hotel to shopping and eating areas. Room was clean and big. Front desk staff could do with more smiles.

I like staying here which is why I kept coming back here. Maybe it's because it's convenient in many ways. Food is descent. The only little complaint I'd have is their housekeeping service. It's not thorough and uniformed. Sometimes they'd see the Do Not Disturb sign on and leave a note without cleaning the room. Other times, they'd knock and come in anyway. Sometimes they'd vacuum the carpet in the room. Sometimes they don't. Otherwise I think this place is ok ;)

Royale Chulan Damansara is a nice place to stay. Rooms are clean, linen is good, bathrooms are nice. Carpets need to be refreshed and a lick of paint needed. But overall a good experience at this branch of the Royale Chulan. My experience of the Curve branch was somewhat different. But that's a story for another day. They get one star because of the Manager sending me to the Damansara branch.

Rooms are nice and cozy. I got a Superior so its a bit nicer. Too bad they only had smoking floor eventhough I booked a month and a half out. Check in took quite some time. Came at 12 and they had no room and had to come back after 2pm. Overall looks good.

Outdated hotel wich needs a renovation,. E. G. Dirty carpets and walls, in the room but also in public areas. Gym. Equipment not fully working, this. Issue was not fixed during my 3 weeks stay. Most of the staff I met was not alternative and friendly. Minibar selection very mediocre.

Nice hotel that is in close proximity with many shopping center including curve, ikano, e-curve and tesco. Huge ballroom and many halls for seminars.

I reached hotel early around 12pm, and try to enquiry front counter (I feel excited first time stay in this hotel, so vry happy and ask a lady at front counter — hi morning, just want to ask can we check in early? ) I get shock after her reply with unfriendly face and rude voice (she only said one sentence — — check in after 2pm! Then she continue do her work with unfriendly face). Ok! We went shopping and walk around untill 1.30pm, and we went to the lobby and saw some people success to check in their room, therefore my husband try go front counter and ask again so we meet her at front counter again! My husband ask (hi, can we check in early? With smile and said haha, because we saw others already can check in to their room) Shocked! She reply (Hur? You said who? Who can check in? Oh. You mean the lady? They booked executive room, are you executive room? Are you? she said oh, you only book for superior room, ppl booked for executive room! ) wow. We get shock by her reply and whole conversation without smile and only with unfriendly face, rude voice! Actually the check in time not the problem, we try to ask politely and just see whether can make it early anoe. We still can accept any check in time. But now we getting reply by rude voice and unfriendly face. We check in on 1/5/16, and the front counter lady that we mention, her name is MYRA. I worked bfr in 5 star hotel services line too, understand sometime personal mood will affect our services. But not like this.

Nice stay here. Nice swimming pool and gym facilities. 5 stars design…

Very reasonably priced and right beside the Curve shopping centre with a bit of life. Here doesn't seem to be much advantage in paying for the premium rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfasts. Let down a little by a sub standard gym that was very sparsely equipped and had no water or towels.

Extra ordinary, super, magnificent rooms, ambience, and location. Major Super in love! Worth every penny spent. Spacious room, very clean. Thorbaikkkkk! Excellent and friendly staff.

Went here for corporate training. Nice food (nasi lemak) for breakfast. Cosy environment and awesome 5 bucks parking.

The hotel is 5 star, but the service is 1star. We had a late checked in, it took 30mins to waiting the room. The payment which made on the counter is not recorded, and my guest spend more than 30mins arguing for payment.

Nice place. Very clean room.

Club room. Small room and small bath. The plus point is it comes with business lounge access that provides afternoon tea and eve cocktail. Also the business lounge offer's private breakfast away from the crowds. Infinity pool is ok; but not much view. Another good thing about this hotel it is linked to the mall (e@curve, curve, Ikano and hypermarket). Also there are some 24hrs fast food (walking distance).

Love the location and the surrounding ambience. Service quality is fairly good for the f and b. Yet to be a house-guest as I am staying nearby. Will try a staycation one fine day.

Located at Mutiara Damansara, at the western end of the Curve (next to e-Curve). Good place to stay if you're from other states and you're looking to shop at Ikea. Not to be confused with "The Royale Bintang The Curve", which is located in the middle of Curve, right opposite Ikea. Plenty of restaurants, places to drink, and entertainment options all within walking distance. Ingress players will be glad to know that there are 3 portals within hacking distance from the lobby of this Hotel :D.

Generally I consider it's service excellent in term of politeness and clenliness. However the gym is neglected as there were 4 treadmills of which 3 were out of order.

On blend impressive sight of Hogwarts and cinderella castle design. But the finish in detail. Asia. Loveless available in the bathrooms, painting very, cold almost icy Atmosspaehre. Nice pool, always empty. Good location at a large shopping center.
