I had the pleasure of trying Gordon Ramsey's Beef Wellington and it was amazing! The beef was cooked perfectly and the pastry was light and flaky. The flavors blended together wonderfully and the presentation was top-notch. I was really impressed with how quickly it was cooked and served. Highly recommended!

It vy convenient no matter the way to lagoon or shopping mall, foods store also nearby. Staff friendly and helpful, room warm and welcome nice to feel. Just housekeeping need to be extra improvement, overall is excellent. Great experience to have😊

Everything was impeccable. From the front of house, to our server Aisyah (if I'm not mistaken), everything exceeded our expectations. The food was exquisite, my Beef Wellington just melted, the steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the cod was so fresh, it was practically swimming in our mouths. Kudos to the entire staff for a job well done, and thank you for taking care of us.

The food quality got so much better and so many dishes to try! Children loved the ice cream too! :)

Excellent service & hospitality. Newly refurbished rooms with luxurious tasteful design and best amenities. Great location with shoppings mall, eateries and the Sunway Lagoon themepark.

Worst hotel. Not even deserved 1 star. The swimming pool and gym are close for mantainance. They offered me to use their gym at level 12 but almost all equipment cannot be use. Not to mentioned the room is dirty with molds, dirts and tissue.

Bad experience, expected 1st class service but lousy service, that was before mco, now I not sure… But I see the renovation is very nice… I like the renovation, hope one day I can stay with them and dine in again, if they make the improvement.

We had a fine staycation of 3D2N at sunway pyramid hotel. But there are definitely few things that needed to be improved as per below comment. The 'Bad': 1) the reception for check-in process are unhelpful and unfriendly. Not giving any info such as if the guest are looking for swimming pool, we have to travel to clio hotel as pyramid hotel doesn't have any pool itself and previously it was shared with resort hotel but unfortunately the pool at resort hotel was under renovation. I think the swimming pool is a basic facility for a hotel, i'm so surprise the the receptionist doesn't even giving any info at all during the check-in process. Only a booklet with room card that's all for the check-in. I booked the room under "eat, play & stay" package which suppose to comes with pals points. However, to none the receptionist give any advise on this at all. 2) overall concierge & reception staff are all kind of rude. When my family trying to look for the pool, we were told by resort hotel staff that the concierge team should arrange transport to send us to clio hotel so that we don't have to take a long walk from pyramid hotel to clio. The end result is, concierge staff ignored the request by their own staff — Naji, who is kind enuf to walk my family to clio, tho it's quite a far walk but we still thank him for treating us professionally. 3) The bathroom shower drainage was kind of clogged.

Some service staff and chef in the resort cafe are not friendly with cold treatment especially during breakfasts, hope the management will look into it.

I stayed at Sunway Pyramid Hotel for 14 nights for my quarantine in April 2020. I like how the room interior gives a cozy feeling. The service staff was friendly and prompt. The hotel even arranged a show by Harith Iskandar for all quarantined individuals. They truly went beyond the miles in ensuring the comfort and well-being of their guests.

Nice spa and its villas are romantic. Everything within walking distance. The only problem is the horrendous congestion during peak hours.

This was a great place for my wife and I and the three children to stay for a while when we were in Kuala Lumpur. We found the facilities to be satisfactory, and with the resort a large place there was plenty to do. The massive fun theme park nearby was a great place to visit and could easily fill up at least a whole day. There is a variety of other places to eat and drink around the hotel which makes it a good location for a trip.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Very clean, nice and spacious rooms. The kids enjoyed the breakfast and the whole atmosphere. The water park was a wonderful experience as well. My 8 year old enjoyed himself the most — he didn't want to leave.

The decor and amenities are very dated. Large breakfast buffet selection. Service by staff is one of the best I've experienced. Very attentive, quick and friendly.

This place is really awesome. People very kind…, infrastructure very good…, very convenient with shopping mall and food courts around. Breakfast is very good with many options for different cultures like Indian, Malaysian, western… If you are going to vacation you'll also find the amusement park around. I didn't try it but looks fine as well… But from all the people was the best…

My family and I had a very positive experience when we stayed at Sunway Clio recently. The 4D/3N package offered lots of value, which included theme park tickets and breakfast. The check-in process was fast and easy. The rooms were generous in size, perfect for family. The view was great and location very convenient for shopping and many activities, such as ice skating for the children. Our daughter left her mobile phone in the room after we checked out. …
We made a call to the housekeeping department to enquire.
Shortly after (less than 10min), staff returned call to report that they have found the phone. We were able to arrange a friend to pick it up the next day. We enjoyed our stay at Sunway Clio and hope to be back again.
The honest and speedy handling of our lost phone by the housekeeping team should be highly commended. Thank you.

Excellent place to holiday. Food was better and cheaper in the street restaurants nearby. Sunway mall and lagoon were good and huge. Can spend a full day in these places. Hotel swimming pool with a top view and gym was good.

A luxurious hotel located in Sunway Town, the hotel offer a 5 stars experience for it's guest with various amenities surrounding the hotel. As one of the hotel surrounding the Sunway Lagoon theme park, the hotel guest has a good view of the water park with well established walk path to the theme park. Within the hotel, the guests can be expected well served by the hotel in-house restaurant offering Western, Asian and international cuisine. An overall well equipped hotel, highly recommended.

Had an excellent spread of specialties from all over the world for Ramadan buffet. All was delicious and tasty. Great service and wonderful coffee house.

A hotel with a great and fantastic view. When it comes to food wise, it's great and quite a lot of varieties even they have steamboat in it. The desserts also was so good even though the variety is not that much for desserts. For the fruits and salad section was too good I loved it a lot, they had too much of variety. Overall they had much variety of food and all type if foods such as seafood, pasta, international foods and many more. I just love the place and the food. It's worth for the price.

Great hotel. It was clean. The service was great. The buffet had a great variety. Very nice gym. That's open 24 hours. Close to a mall and many great restaurants.

The hotel is one of the best we have stayed at. It felt exclusive and the facilities matched this most of the time. The room were the biggest and the best layed out I have ever stayed in and the food/breakfast was great. Everyone in the hotel was also very helpful and always deal with a smile. I would like to thank you all on the behalf of my family for your kindness and generosity.

Beautiful atmosphere, first time having steamboat in a buffet dinner, pizza and oysters are recommended, dessert too because they have a chocolate fondue! Ice-cream are yummy! Staff informed credit card promotion before payment, we enjoyed further discount. Recommended!

Amazing hotel in kl. Has a beautiful landscaped and well designed hotel out front. Giving it an African safari look, big shopping complexes,, plenty of bars and food, great fun and entertainment outlets. It's pretty much got you covered on your holiday.

Were for two no good experiences the star is valid for the rich breakfast man must be there before 0700 pm to be able to enjoy it!

We recently stayed at Sunway Resort Hotel and spa with 2 kids under 2. The staff were amazing! They went above and beyond with our two girls especially since one of our girls has a peanut allergy and is anaphylactic. The Chef made her special meals for breakfast. Our room was huge, we were upgraded to a junior suite due to works/noise. Not complaining as it was so luxurious. Can honestly not fault anything with this Resort. We will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful place, lots of choices of shops available for shoppers, entertaining outlets, wide varieties of restaurants, cafes, bistro, pubs, few opens until 2am. Good for friends or business associates meet up. Comfortable, safe, varieties of set up.

Pretty good in general, we spent a short but delightful valentines day here in the hotel. The hotel may seem exclusive, but surprisingly the room we've got was just OK, a little old and small. Service was good and friendly staff. We tried the spa and massage of the hotel, the venue located pretty far away from the hotel itself, we have to walk under the rain for about 10mins. If you're staying in their chalet then it is nearer to visit the spa.

Hotel with grand lobby and good amenities. I got upgraded from normal room to Junior Suite, thank you so much. Room was comfortable and staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. However Chef Kuna of Resort Cafe was rather rude. My son asked for 2 omellets but he replied “no, u can have 1 only”, looking so fierce. I mean, does the whole family have to queue up for omellete instead of sending 1 person on behalf? We also had some pastries left overs and didnt want it t…o go wasted. So we wrapped it with tissue to bring to our room. As we walked out, a female staff looked at us judgementally as we were smuggling food out. Do you think people with such mentality could afford staying at your hotel? Overall, the hotel needs improvement in terms of the staff attitude. I know the crowd can be overwhelming but isnt that good for business?

Nice hotel with great location close to the waterpark and the shopping mall. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly, naming Mr Rizwan from front disk for his professionalism. The hotel reception decoration is stunning with ample space. Rooms are outdated and does not match the hotel star ratings. Toilet is old, yet includes all amenities. Unfortunately the Sunway area has limited high star ratings hotels, and this hotel still be one of the best options.

What else can I say. It's a luxury hotel with amazing luxurious treatment. Amazing room, amazing breakfast and they have the nicest swimming pool. (Though It's a little bit unfriendly to your wallet). We stayed here because we want to go to Sunway Lagoon the day after. It is just a short walk to Sunway Lagoon and you can enter through a special entrance at hotel swimming pool area; so you don't need to use the crowded main entrance. The best thing is you can leave your car at hotel car park until midnight even though you already checked-out.

Tips to enjoy your stay: 1. Buffet Breakfast is delightful in 2-3 days, but probably would not be for extended period. Try the local food shops at the front, across the road, cheaper but more variety. 2. Know that there is a special access from the hotel to Sunway Lagoon. Bring your hotel key to open the access gate. 3. Money changer is located basement of Sunway Pyramid mall, about 5 minutes walk. Better rates. 4. If you need medical, 2 clinics are found further up near the food shops. Pharmacy also is here.

A majestic hotel within the sprawling complex of Sunway City Resort comprising the resort hotel, world class shopping centre, theme park, complementary hotels, luxurious chalets, medical centre and large convention centre.

The hotel was very clean and the service was very good. There is also a water park nearby and it is convenient to eat.

Rooms are large and clean, the most important thing is that in tourist attractions there is such a reasonable price of choice, value for money.

Services can be improved. Specially breakfast is very boring. Decent but not worth the price.

The Sunway Resort had very nice rooms and a very grand lobby. It is right next to an enormous water park which is great if you have kids, it less ideal if you are in the area on business. The staff was fantastic! Everyone was very professional and polite. As the office I was conducting business with was in the Pinnacle building, it made sense to stay here and I would highly recommend it for business or pleasure.

Wonderful place superb service excellent staff gorgeous environment very comfortable rooms. A bit costly but money worth for services. One thing need worth mentioning I found a mosquito sitting on breakfast item in morning breakfast resturant. Informed the resturant guys otherwise excellent place to stay.

I love the hotel location and stay here quite often when I visit our KL factory. Staff is very friendly. Sunway mall around the corner is very handy for meals and shopping. The reason for 4 stars is because the rooms are still quite dated. Seems like they haven't changed in over 12 years.

Stayed here for business trip. Was a nice experience. Lobby is grand looking, breakfast buffet had many choices, not the best food I've tasted but better than average. Lunch n dinner buffet was certainly not bad. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for the food. For the rooms, the bed was comfortable, the pillows were many. There was nice working space with a comfortable office chair. I stayed at fifth floor and there was a nice balcony outside, overseeing the swimming pool. The toilet was not bad, well stocked with toiletries, towel was thick n feels good. I do agree with the reviewers the hotel is rather cold but the air con is adjustable from the central controller beside the bed. The function rooms are great choice for business meeting. Most importantly, the Wi-Fi was stable. I will definitely recommend this hotel for business or conference functions.

Excellent service fine hotel. A gate only between the Sunway lagoon. Too bad though that you can enter/exit multiple times for example to rest for a bt in your room. Food selection was awesome for te free breakfast. The room was huge and very comfy. I appreciated the hot tub.

Grand Ballroom was sufficient for the event. Parking lot was clean. Toilets in public areas were not very clean or had enough toilet paper.

This is the best resort and hotel in Malaysia, Selangor, if you are on business or family trip or even honeymoon this place is ur destination, -big & comfort & clean rooms -excellent service -expert and friendly stuff — lounge access has good choices — restaurant was so big and buffet was extremely nice. We tried the main one and the level 1 also Resturant. -Swimming pool is big and have areas for kids and adults and nice views and decorations. — Room view was facing the Sunway Lagoon. Check in and out was so easy. The hotel has access to the mall and to the water and amusement park. The stuff was always helping and always smiling. I have tried this hotel 3 times so far, 2011 & 2014 & 2017, each time the hotel is improving, and they will start on the renovation to make it look even better. I suggest an recommend this hotel for every one.

Full disclosure: My company does extensive business in Malaysia and the Sunway is our corporate preferred hotel in Kuala Lumpur, so we are definitely treated with special courtesies (room upgrades, etc. ). All that said, I do recommend this hotel heartily. Great staff, modern rooms, access to transportation, attached to a HUGE shopping mall, etc. Etc. My only criticism is that over the last 10 years staying at the hotel, some of the rooms are starting to show some "wear" and could use a "refresh". It's been over a year since I've last been there, so if they've fixed up the rooms, then so much the better.

Rooms are clean and cosy. Good variety for breakfast. Swimming pool was awesome and to top it all, our room had the perfect view of the Sunway Lagoon. Convenient access to shopping mall. Wish the price was a little more friendly on the pocket though.

An amazing hotel, serviced by even better people. You are always greeted with a smile, whether it be valet, a receptionist or a waiter. Entrance of the hotel is decorated with artistic and humongous mural and fountains. Architecture is great. Dining area is huge. Overall a great place to be in.

We had a good experience in Sunway Resort Hotel SPA on 19.5.17. Wonderful interiors, very good service (from beginning until the end of event) and some excellent F&B too. The staff like Mr Sam Eugene & Ms Hannah is very helpful and friendly. Plus, the price is worth and affordable to us. Will recommend to other friends and possible to held another event in the hotel.

1. They have said that mini bar will be replenished for everyday but they didn't actually. When I asked to room service, they said they will convey the message and come back. But they didn't come but. When I go and asked to receptionist, he said it should be replenished for every day and asked me back that "did I put don't disturb sign? ". I answered him that we only put "Make up our room "! After that he try to call them but seems nobody answered and he told me that because that room service is closed because around 11 already and they can only do it on the next day. It seems that he did try to call them though but nothing happened anyway. 2. Although our beds are make up, there are some hairs left on the pillow. Isn't that funny? 3. When I try to order for my supper from my room to In-Room dining, amazingly, they said it will take about 45 minutes and thus I had to cancel my order since I can't wait that long. The only thing I have to thanks them is that they tell me honestly at least. Really, I can't understand how can this be 5 star hotel!

Kids enjoy the breakfast buffet. Sunway lagoon water park just next door to the hotel. Staff are friendly. We thoroughly enjoy our trip.

Hotel is near sunway pyramid, with a free shuttle going around the area, food options are good and staff are always helpful and polite.

Really 5 star standard… Nothing really bad, just that the water on the floor in the bathroom should be better drained. Tends to pool if not careful. Other than that, almost perfect!

I am going there soon. I hope its good. I don't really care bout the room. I just want good food. Hehe.

We stayed in this hotel. It's a weird hotel. The rooms are all different sizes and shape. The staff doesn't have a clue. The only thing that was great was the breakfast. It was excellent to say the least.

We have stayed at this amazing hotel 3 times. What else can you say about it, simply amazing.

I liked this resort because of safety that resort provides. This hotel is also in suburb area, away from KL traffic congested areas. I had a very spacious double queen bedroom. Beds, furniture and bathroom were all in very good condition. Included free breakfast was excellent with many international choices. The shopping mall next door gives you a lot of food, shopping and entertainment options.

Wifi everywhere even in the room, fitness and pool really nice. Price room is not so expensive recommend.

I love this place like a lot! come here every year! never get bored.

This is my third stay at Sunway Lagoon. Having stayed for 5, 6 and now 7 days I have found the hotel friendly and amenable. Superb, friendly staff make your stay the best. The theme park behind compares well to other water parks worldwide. Easy shopping next door. The food is superb with a wide range of choice. A quick trip to the LRT station sees you in downtown KL in 10 minutes. If you want a relaxed and enjoyable rest then Sunway is the place for you!
