A great hotel with perfect location, amazing rooms and very attentive service.

Think twice if you wanna purchase mooncake online. It was the first time I experienced the worst service of a star-rated hotel. I bought mooncakes online and chose delivery on 29/8. There was no call, no email at all that day. I called the next day and said that needed to verify the delivery date for me, ask me wait for return call. I have waited their call or email for few days but no return call or reply at all.

Amazing hotel with great service. But, even at the lowest setting, our room is still hot. Our room, on the 27th floor has a remarkable, if not majestic, view of the famous Petronas Towers, but the room is much smaller than most at a 5 star property. The Club Level experience is unmatched with one of the best breakfasts have had in my life and the attention to detail and kindness by the staff, can not be ignored. Overall, a top notch experience with a few minor details worth noting.

One of my worst experience in 5 star hotel. I went to the Lounge in the Park on the 1st day of CNY, very bad and slow service. I thought maybe they are short handed on the 1st day of CNY (still no excuse). I then book for a family for 7 pax in the Lai Po Heen @10.30am on Sat 5/1 and was informed that there were no tables inside and only available outside the restaurant. On the day of arrival there was a lion dance performing in the restaurant and all the staff were busy with the lion dance. When we asked for our table only one young waiter attended to us. We sat at our table for half hr with NO ONE attending to our needs. There was only one other table next to us and there were also empty tables inside the restaurant. Nobody came and attended to our needs. After our bfast we proceed downstairs to continue our celebrations for some drinks and coffee and was informed by the waiter that there was only one table available for 6pax and that we had to vacate at 2.30pm. Again service was slow and not hospitable at all. We finally left at 2.45pm and there was 4-5 empty tables. This is the worst 5 star hotel I have been and I would not recommended to entertain or have your meals there. There are many choices to choose from in Kl. Very very bad service.

Honestly worst buffet with Rm199 per pax and they serve food like raw pasta, seriously cold, soggy and tasteless seafood and meat ever. Website picture dose not match with what I have expected. With this price I can get way better buffet anytime with more choice of food and really nice fresh food. We will never come back to this as is the worst experience ever.

My husband had lunch today to celebrate my birthday. Gd food and staff very helpfull and friendly.

We had a terrible experience with delivery service, nearly ruined our family reunion dinner. We ordered a meal from your hotel totalling more than rm1500 to be delivered at 6pm yesterday. In the morning we even called to confirm that the food will be delivered AT 6PM & ur staff assured us that was the case. In the end the food arrived 50mins late, stone cold! The ice cream had totally melted into the dessert. Our hungry family had to wait even longer while we scrambled to try to re heat the food. Is this the type of service we should expect from 5 star hotel charging prices like this? Your timing n quality is totally not what we expected from a hotel of your reputation.

I've been to more luxurious hotel than M. O so I can't say anything much but your staff at Aqua Pool Bar named Syafiik deserve a raise. 5 star service from him to me and my family. Very attentive, helpful and friendly. Love the pool layout and ambience too. Will come back after mco for sure.

Bad service. Was in the banquet hall and the waiter just walked pass me when I raised my hand for assistance right at his face.

The hotel itself also liked the great location of the hotel, the food in the main restaurants is delicious, that's only in the restaurant mandarin grill cooks terribly, long and very expensive. Ordered a steak and waited 40 minutes and it would be a good time if the dish was not so terribly cooked (dry and hard) spa area on a solid 5, the rooms are also good and cleaned 2 times a day.

This hotel was stunning. In a great location. The staff was incredible. The rooms are lavish and clean! The grounds were beautiful if you’re going on holiday here I would highly reccomend this hotel!

Very pretty hotel. Right in the Centre of the city and right next to Twin Towers. Classy. Good food and breakfast. The hotel has an infinity pool and the staff is courteous. There is a mall right next to the hotel with an extremely vide variety of shops to shop at and to eat at. We had a memorable time in this hotel.

Attending wedding dinner here; dishes are standard dishes one can get from 4 or 5 stars hotel in KL. Service of staff is good but rushing for time just like any other wedding dinner. Car park lots is limited and drive path into car park is narrow, difficult to navigate through the drive path. Whoever set up the parking need to experience it himself navigating through. Four levels of parking B1 to B4, but auto paying station only at B2 and B4. It is not surprise a long queue to pay parking after wedding dinner. Hotel management need to have some common sense in this simple parking facility of a 5 star hotel. Facilities wise, this is better vs Palace of Golden Horses with out of date facilities. Food, however, Golden Palace of Horses is far better than Mandarin Oriental.

Not sure where to start amazing hotel and staff who really do go above and beyond. Have stayed in luxury hotels all over the world and this one now my top hotel. Suzanna in Restaurant should be training staff she is that good but then customers like us would miss out! Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough thank you very much.

Amazing hotel, right next door to the twin towers, I booked a special deal with the hotel, chauffeur pick up, secret checking where your met at the car and taken straight to your room. Get the twin tower room on a high floor. Place and view is amazing as are all the staff.

This is everything you would expect from the MO hotel brand but at a fraction of the cost you would pay in other cities. The central location is great, right next to the Petronas Twin Towers. The $20 extra for a tower view is worth it IMO. A small but well serviced and maintained pool area is complimented by a well equipped gym. The rooms were a good size and as you would expect clean and well presented. The hotel staff were nothing but courteous and proactive. The Mosaic buffet restaurant is excellent over breakfast or lunch (I didn’t try dinner) and very good value if you come hungry.

The best hotel I have stayed at! Great gym, sauna hammam, with relaxation room (coffee and tea making facilities free of charge as well as TV and armchairs to relax). We offer you a lemonade at the pool (at will! ) even if you do not consume anything to pay! And you come to prepare the bed and offer high-end chocolates just before you go to bed! The staff is really very very friendly! We really enjoyed the hotel driver, David! I can't wait to get back!

The Top in every detail is really what better you can ask for 2 steps from the Petronas.

A grand and lovely place. My wife had a meeting there. We had to follow her but just waited at the lobby. The buffet dinner costs RM170. An amazing spread from local to western. Fortunately for her she had a discount.

24 Floor cafeteria species too few, compared to domestic 3-star food, 2 floor meeting room is big enough, but the facilities are a bit old, the first floor catering charges, but close enough to KLCC, downstairs is.

Very nice hotel.

I've literally never even seen a hotel this beautiful and with service this top-notch. I've stayed in many nice hotels in Asia, and this was certainly the most expensive, but you get what you pay for with these things. Staff was so helpful and attentive that it was ridiculous. Never could've believed how much 800 RM could get you in KL. I haven't stayed at the other hotels that are similarly rated, but the Mandarin sets a high bar that is difficult for me to imagine they could match. Stay here if you're visiting KL. You won't be disappointed.

The most beautiful hotel in the city just a stone's throw from the famous towers. Everything fantastic from the pool to the beautiful breakfast to the rooms obviously rich in every comfort. Great reception from the staff.

A wonderful Convention Centre. Very spacious. Mobility inside facilitated by lifts and escalators. Huge auditorium for plenaries and opening/closing ceremonies. Very accessible by public transport, trains/buses/taxis. In house restaurants within pockets friendly food/snacks. Beautifully located in the Central Business District. Just the place to be.

Gorgeous hotel with gorgeous amenities and accommodations. Perfect location for ease of access to tourist locations if that's your jam or more local gems if that's your flavor. It's a 5 star world class hotel for a reason and it lives up to its name. Prepare to drop $40 for dinner in a city where you can eat for $3.

Fantastic hotel, a bit on the pricier side in KL but still the cheapest 5 star hotel with great quality, in the heart of KL, right next to KLCC. Their food is also top notch, as is their laid back lounge. Highly recommend! Parking can be pricey though, if you're visiting for meals. Try their halal dim sum which is world class.

We were booked at one of the club rooms on the 25th floor initially for 2 nights, and then extended for another night. Everything was as expected of a club room — all perks included. The staff on our floor were extra accomodating. Here are the highlights:
1. They greeted us courteously but not routine-like. I can tell the difference because I see them 6-7 times a day along the halls to go up and down for breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea and drinks in between. For 3nights, 4 days.
2. They were generous. Whenever we asked for something, they gave extra, extra. Chocolates, water and all other complimentaries. The best things in life are free. This generousity is what makes people come back.
3. The book mark. I was really touched by the bookmark, Randy (the room attendant assigned for our room) placed on top of my book. I always carry a book when travelling or staycationing. I have brought books on different 5 star hotels in different cities but it was the first time I was acknowledged and encouraged to read on. When you pay extra for comfort, you gush about the comfort well-provided to you so SHOUTOUT to Randy and his team! **The only downside to staycationing is you notice how the spread on the dining table is a tad redundant. By the time we were about to check out, none of us wanted anymore of the food. Hopefully, my post will inspire the staff to be more creative with their variations.

Many opinions are very positive and it is normal. This establishment already deserves its 5 * obviously. It is a hotel that combines luxury, tradition and modernity. The spaces are huge and the decoration a little retro gives a harmonious or even a little mysterious. We are in Asia and everywhere at the same time. The staff is really customer service day or night. The security of the site is particularly well organized. But this positive comment also takes into account the prices charged which are really reasonable for an establishment of this quality. The hotel is very well located near the city center and many Malls. The disco Ren is behind the building, it offers alcohol and also safety and taken very seriously but the music is really deafening, reserved for lovers of rapp, the DJ does just that. This is the top address for staying in Kuala Lumpur if it's within your budget.

My husband maintained his Elite Club membership every year and we really enjoy all the “perks”. From the dining in Mosaic, the stay, the pool and a few other little things. Recently (01 Dec 2017), we spent the night in one of the rooms on the 10th floor. Just as we checked in and got into our room, there was a knock on the door from one of the housekeeping staff, asking whether we needed extra soap, bath wash, towels etc, to which I requested an extra bar of your lovely lemongrass facial soap, and he handed me two cakes. Nice!. Before he left, he gave us 2 boxes of Vezzo Gold chocolates. Nice touch as a welcome token, other than the Tapping Tapir refreshing drinks. Same night, my husband and I dined at Lounge on the Park, we sat near the jazz ensemble and really enjoyed the tunes they played.
But we were a bit disappointed with one of our dishes
My husband ordered the Australian Angus Rib Eye steak and requested for it to be done medium well but his steak came as well done instead hence a bit tough to his liking. On another note, the dish was supposed to come with baked potatoes but he was served with deep fried shoestring potataoes. I told him to address his displeasure but he said it’s ok, let it pass, he insisted.
As for my main course, I had the Atlantic cod fish and chips and I must compliment on the freshness of the fish, good, only complaint was the batter was a tad too salty for me.

Great hospitality experience just a few steps from the Petronas Twin Towers, icon of Kuala Lumpur (attached you'll find a view from my room: wake up surrounded by the towers! ). The pool and spa area is great and perfect for a half day of relax. The staff was superb, would be more than happy to come back.

What a treat to stay here. Very affordable, by any standards. The staff were constantly going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They allowed early check in and late check out as well. The roof top pool was outstanding and the views were breathtaking of the city scape. The most important thing not to miss is the Sunday brunch. Hands down the most incredible dining experience of my life.

MOKUL knows how to make a guest feel welcome and valued. It has been 3 years since my last visit. I am delighted that it retains its elegance and sophisticated service. It is now enhanced by a warmth from all the team throughout each branch of the hotel. The previous cool professionalism has been enriched by this heartfelt hospitality. The Horizon Club rooms have received a timely and contemporary refurbishment. Again, retaining the elegance but toning it worry modernity. And the food, well you will have to wait for that report as I have to rush out to sample more of the excellent cuisine!

Hotel Lujazo! Near the Petronas Towers… excellent service.

This is a nice hotel. Service was really good, rooms are nice (request a refurbished one, as they are in the process of updating all the rooms' interiors — I especially loved the fantastic beds), and breakfast buffet is absolutely stunningly good. Just for fun I also went to some of the bars in the other 5-stars hotels in the surrounding area and in my opinion Mandarin is really on another level. Interior design feels way more upscale. One thing to consider if you come here for the well-advertised view of the Twin Towers is that Mandarin is really close to them, pretty much directly adjacent to the Petronas complex. So what you do not get is a full view of the towers and cityscape in the back, rather you get up close and personal which both towers and the bridge in between dominating the view completely. That's not necessarily a bad thing, still it came somewhat as a surprise. All in all I really do recommend Mandarin Oriental and would most likely stay here again next time in KL.

This hotel thinks of everything. I arrived early in the morning unable to check in and they gave me a complimentary breakfast while waiting. I then went into the amazing fitness and wellness center. I was able to take a shower, use the pool, and get a massage. Everyone calls guests by their registered name which is a nice touch. The following day I relaxed by the pool and had a facial. All staff are well educated in the service department. I'm not sure there is anything this hotel wouldn't do for a customer. I arrived back to my room from my relaxing day and had a belated birthday cake waiting. All that just from my registration information. That is paying attention to the details. The restaurants although expensive do provide delicious food. The buffets are average. Along with this the hotel being wonderful, it is also in a great location. I will definitely be staying here again.

Booked in for 2 nights at the end of a18 day Asia trip. Definitely the best hotel of the trip. Our room on the 29th floor had recently been renovated, and it showed. Clean, airy, with a comfortable bed. Floor to ceiling window view out to the Petronas Towers, which were a block away. The executive club on 24 was enormous, and was divided into lots of different areas, so you could always find somewhere quiet. Although the food selection was a little limited, it was all of a consistently high quality. What really made the stay were the staff. Without exception they were attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We even got to experience the slightly surreal sight of a posse of military guards with machine guns exciting a member of the royal family to their room.

Enjoyed our stay here for our 9th wedding anniversary. It's was an unforgettable memory for us. All staff are friendly & caring too.

Decided to try the food as recommended by a relative. The buffet was good but not great. I'd also avoid the mocktails. Desserts were however amazing.

Beautiful palace, close to the Petronas Towers!

Magnificent establishment worthy of its reputation as well in the level of the rooms, the service or the position. What about lunch? Incredible!

You like luxury. You like personalized attentions so go for it as it is a beautiful hotel. The built-in nightclub is fine. You like cigars, there's a specialized shop inside. The view of the room on the towers is wonderful. It is in the heart of a shopping complex for shopping. The restaurants are delicious. The reception is more than good.

A beautiful hotel, with great amenities, in an excellent location. The pool is wonderful, and with its view over the park at the center of KL, it's a nice memory just to hang out there for a couple of afternoons. Rooms are nicely appointed, and offer some stunning views. The fitness center is awesome, pretty hard to beat. My only complaint, and I would have given the fifth star were it not for this, is that they have a roughly $20 fee for Wi-Fi. Sorry, I think Wi-Fi is like water now. It's too be expected. The staff was nice enough to waive it after I made a pretty assertive demand. Sure, it's a business hotel. Blah blah blah. Be ahead of the curve, be the luxury chain that offers great amenities from the onset. I'd certainly come back. But I would just as certainly contest the silly Wi-Fi charge.

Good place to stay in KL.

The place in Mandarin Oriental is just like heaven. Kings new house is coming. The workers are friendly and responsible in everything they do. Nothing is not good. The facilities are good and first class just like other countries around the world. Mostly I like Malaysia style. 1 Malaysia. Proud to be a Malaysian.
