Not worth the price, they use old furnitures, dusty, rusty, dirty sink… too long to list… kota kinabalu has many new hotels NEVER TRY MING GARDEN — YOU WILL BE REGRET! Overall BAD EXPERIENCE… hope no one will trust their artistic photos showing rooms just to attract you and in reality… it FAR WORSE! SAY NO TO THIS EXPENSIVE AND UGLY HOTEL!

A wonderful person incharge to help arrange your stay and they have karaoke room as well.

Everything is okay but no eateries, convenience stores nearby. Either you bring your own car or ride a grab to get there.

One of the best so far in terms of hospitality and customer service. Staffs were friendly, helpful and services such as checking in and out was really fast. Rooms were nice and comfy.

Went for wedding reception. Staff are professional, helpful and friendly. Kudos for that. Parking space capacity leaves a lot to be desired. Basement parking costs RM10 unless ticket was stamped in which case, will get a 50% discount to RM5. Better use transportation services like Grab or taxis if planning to stay here. Beautiful halls in which activities can be conducted.

I believed that due to the high occupancy rate, rooms had no opportunity to be properly cleaned/maintained. I am so very used to sparkling clean hotel rooms in KL or Singapore and hence my expectation is high!

The location is ideal for staying since it is close to Imago Shopping Mall. Furthermore, the rooms were well maintained with plenty of amenities. Stayed for one night in a double bedroom suite and the overall experience was satisfactory. Would recommend to anyone that is visiting KK and is looking for a good hotel in a good location for affordable rates.

If you would like to avoid the traffic in the city centre this hotel is definitely a good choice. I have personally stayed here on 3 occasions and found the room quality and services provided to be up to expectation. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staffs are polite although not everyone would greet you like normal hotel staffs would. This hotel is very popular with tourists and occupancy rate is high. For my last stay I was pleasantly surprised to have a room upgrade. Al though I did not request for one I guest it was due to the hotel being fully booked. There are ample parking lots available at the basement making it very convenient for guests traveling with their own vehicle.

It's good place to stay. I've lost my passport in tour. But hotel manager, Hamizam Ismail, help to find my passport. It's really thanksful experience. Also, every hotel workers are very kind. I got unforgettable memory in here.

Room was clean, tidy and comfortsble. Reception was efficient and friendly service. There is a busy restaurant and coffee shop in the hotel with other social amenities including spa, swim pool and childrens area. Just across tbe highway — no traffic noise — is the new Imago shopping centre. You can walk there safely in less than 10 minutes but the hotel includes this mall on the free bus service. This also serves other attractions in KK.

I've stayed in two rooms. I'm not sure what type of room it is but it's in the photos I've attached. I only paid RM250 per night for the room. This room is perfect for a family to stay, they have a kitchen with electric stoves for you to cook. The room is very spacious and I think the room service menu is priced just right. This hotels seems to be a favorite for Chinese, Korean and Japanese tour groups. The breakfast is a bit crowded even at 7 am but the quality of food is superb. I've also stayed in the Premier room which cost me about RM300 per night. You get a lot of free perks like free pressing for 2 clothes, access to the Premier Lounge, complimentary drinks, etc. Again, the room quality is perfect. The Premier Lounge breakfast however was very sub-par. All the food was cold and the selection of food is miserable. I'd rather dine downstairs for breakfast rather than the premier lounge. It's a good place to stay if you're planning to rent a car or commute by taxi/Grab. You can't really walk around the premise as there's nothing much around.

Booked the room via Agoda and was upgraded to Junior Suite. Very good service. Foods are tasty too!

The low-rise building near the nightclub room, every night is very noisy, the noise is very poor, to the night 12:30 the window are still singing, can not have a good rest!

Nice & Cosy hotel just beside the new Imago shopping Complex in Kota Kinabalu city center. Service Suites available too. Pleasant, polite & attentive staffs is a plus.

Value for money in terms of room comfort and amenities given in room. Does have charger+multiple connection for free. Breakfast buffet selection is limited though. Very popular with foreign tourists especially tours. Would have been a little better if everyone complies to the no smoking in room as it'll travel via the HVAC duct to other rooms.

Service was decent. Location isn't very walkable, it's separated from everything by a highway. Floors seemed rather dirty in the hallways, but the room was quite nice. Two separate sleeping areas and two bathrooms each with a shower. Kitchen with stove and some cooking supplies as well as a large fridge. There's a spa, pool, and gym. Great value for sure.

Great hotel to stay and location is perfect. Clean room. Friendly front desk. Breakfast was good, with the wide spread. The hotel looks old from outside but it is definitely worth the money. Opposite is imago mall. Condition of carpark was rundown though. I enjoyed room very much as all the facilities make me feel so comfortable. Overall stay was fantastic. Will be back here again.

Friendly staff willing to oblige normally requested services. Very spacious rooms and good housekeeping. Good spread of breakfast buffet. Only downside is when there are filled with tourists from China and the din they create and will drown any conversation with the front office staff. Helluva noise!

Staff were very friendly & accommodating. Always with a smile & wished you every time they saw you. Singaporeans could learn a lot from these people about hospitality & friendliness.

This was good 2 bed room, kitchen and two bathrooms. Living room between the bed rooms. Good location and very friendly staff. I had not booked my hotel for my second stay here as I wanted to check the hotel first. I was booking my second stay at the same hotel The restaurant is nice with a BBQ outside. Very close to the huge shopping mall and there is enough restaurants to last you for a very long time. The breakfast was a disappointment, for me as I like European style breakfast. But the Asians seemed to like the breakfast. But there is room service so I had tea and toast in my room.

Simple modern contemporary room with comfortable bedding and kitchenette. Which will give you a home feeling… It's located at the edge of kota kinabalu. Need transportation to go everywhere. It's dangerous to walk to the opposite mall (Imago). Need to across a busy main road. Recommended for guest with own transport.

Worst hotel ever been. Mainland Chinese owner they said. Room and hall is dirty. Stayed at 12th floor but ground Pub music is so loud that bed are shaking until midnight. 1 corona beer charge like almost 30RM. Like super 5 star hotel price in KL. Hotel is far from seaside area so not recommended at all. Near by is squatter's den so scenery also filthy. Many mainland China tourist and some Korean group tourist. That may be the reason for bad maintenance and service.

My husband and I stayed there for two nights on 21 to 23 rd of June, 2016. We were bitten by mosquitoes in the bedroom the two days we stayed in the hotel. I got at least 8 bad bites which kept me awake throughout the nights and the itch caused skin swelling. We would not stay there again though the hotel is well-located and staff were courteous and helpful. I wish the hotel has a refund policy for such uncomfortable and unpleasant stay.

Friendly staff, clean and well equipped rooms, and great facilities. Bit far from Jessleton Point but close enough to city centre, and large Imago mall is opposite for food and most amenities.

I stayed in this hotel from 27 May to 30 May 2016. I stayed in a 2 bedrm family suite. A very good hotel with nice aircon, l am a bit diappointed the bathroom shower is not working propetly.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. Ballroom is always beautifully decorated for functions. Hotel rooms are well maintained. Food served during functions are delicious. Highly recommended.

Check-in time was so late. Although 3pm is the standard check-in time, I have never been checked in later than 2pm. This is ridiculously LATE! BAD REVIEW from me.

The facility of hotel looks a bit old, but the service and environment are fair enough.

1. Close to airport (10 min taxi ride for 30RM) 2. Free shuttle bus to downtown area (including Jesselton Point) 3. Newly open Imago Mall is just across the highway (with supermarket and everything else). You can actually walk across the highway (carefully), turn right and look for a fence opening 200-300 meters away, then enter the Mall area directly. 4. Free Wi-Fi even within the hotel room This is a hotel with good CP value…

The girl name Shauntay is pretty and cute. The best staff ever… she is the one of a kind.
