Five-night double room$including tax about 6000 is cheap and clean, nearby eating and shopping is very convenient.

Nice and clean. Right smack in town w lots of food… no pool but you could walk across to the Hyatt for day use at a cost…

Good location and it is very preferable for those need to visit Watson regularly. Room looks a bit aged but still considered clean. New water refilled provided!

Single room is good enough. However, having issue with television signal. Overall is fine.

Booked through agoda. Stayed 1 night package with breakfast. The kind receptionist upgraded the room to suite; albeit twin sharings single beds. Breakfast as tapau; as their cafe is closed. Rooms are reasonable big for suite; bed are firm pillow are medium hard. Toilet not spray water to wash oneself.

Wonderful stay. Very central located in Kota kinabalu. Eateries, ferry terminals, Sabah Tourism office, shopping centres etc are within walking distance. Thanks.

Good friendly staff, safe hotel to stay but unfortunately during my stay here, few times blackout no electricity due to cable relocation just nearby the hotel so the room is so hot.

Polite and pleasant staff. Cozy rooms with good sea views. Of the disadvantages — slow elevators and lack of access to the stairs. Of the pluses — everything else.

The location is full of good, climbing mountains and sea are very convenient.
The front door exit to the right can go to the dock, the back door exit to the right can buy a ticket to the mountain. Room price reflects its service level, room clean and tidy or full good.

Defenitely we will recomend you to our other friends and relatives whoever wants to visit KK. And we will stay ther again nexttime we comeback to KK…

Location very convinence but room not maintainance well, the toilet door is broken.

Helpful bcoz close to wisma merdeka n suria sabah… but not frenly for muslim bcoz no washing pipe near toilet bowl n no mark for kiblat direction.

Nice place in centre of KK. Just double check if your room has windows :)

Ok with breakfast. Kopi yg sedap. Parking problem hotel ni.

Hotel located at city center. The room was very nice. Huge, clean, nicely decorated. (I stayed at the Business Suite on 11th floor) Iron, water heater, hair dryer included in the room. Great view of KK from the windows Food for breakfast was acceptable. Only issue is the parking. No specialized parking spot provided. And being near Gaya Street, parking spots are hard to come by. The parking space immediately in front of the hotel costs rm 0.50 for 30mins, the red ones across the street costs rm 1 for 30mins. Not very cheap. Other than that I am pretty happy with my stay here.

Service and location are good, but rooms could really use a facelift.

1_En in checking in first we were told that there were no rooms, we went back later… but it was because they didn't find the reservation. As soon as they found her, they gave us one.
2_El Wi-Fi in the room is Malisimo. Very slow and it works only at times. At night it's usually off.
3 _ The room dirty and the bathroom even more. Daily Cleaning. Yes. Above. And they're taking a towel a day. On the first day we had 2 big and two girls the second two big and one girl, the third only the big ones. We had to reclaim them.
4 _ The lack of cleanliness coupled with the old age of the furniture raises bugs. I don't know what, but every night amaneciamos with more bites, and they weren't mosquitoes!

Central location near the city centre and the tourist ferry terminal.

Old rooms but clean and decent. Sometimes you can get rooms at really cheap rates which make it worth it. Good location with easy access to eateries and shops. However, the new malls are on the other side of town.

The ceilings in the hallways always leak, bad TV, sometimes the bathrooms doors don't lock. Other than that it's great.

The first room they gave us, the door wouldn't lock and it smelled really bad. The internet works half the time and the walls are paper thin. Second room was better but not that great. No safe in the room.

This branch of Best Western hotel is a nice place to stay. One secret: if you wish to make a booking via phone call, then forget it. They (the receiptionist) will always say that the hotel is fully booked. The trick is to bo through Agoda. You get the best deal ever, and a breakfast is included too. the room is spacious with nice bed. The banket and bed sheet are quite thick, which is very very cosy and nice. It is windowless, but nevertheless it is clean and comfortable. The very minor downside is that floor is tiled with no carpet. the room is equipped with nice shower and a working, yes a working hot shower and some nice toiletries. the wardrobe is also big and it is equipped with iron board and of course, an iron. overall, do stay at this hotel if your budget is RM 130 and above. This hotel is strategically located right in the small and congested city of Kota Kinabalu. The downside is that you have to find a suitable parking as parking is not provided to its patron the hotel is located within walking distance to Jesselton Point (for island hopping). The hotel too is conveniently surrounded by a nice shopping mall (Suria Sabah), variety of chinese restaurants and even KFC is just a stone's throw away! i love this hotel! so will you, hopefully.

Best 3 star hotel ever. Receptionist are very helpfull.

22 April 2010, my Olympus digital camera missing while house keeping staff clean-up the room no 514 when I’m off to Sapi Island. This was truly a devastating end to a great trip — those photos were very valuable to me. In my opinion your hotel is the worst hotel in the world and I’ve done a big mistake when visit for 2nd time to this hotel. I hope anyone who reads this will take my warning and hopefully choose other pleasant hotels to stay at.
