Peaceful, quiet retreat on the beach.
Great service and restaurant menu.
Rooms are clean and spacious.
You can take long walks out to the ocean at low tide or sign up for activities. The staff are kind and helpful. Perfect for solo, couples, friend groups or families.

Decent Room (11) having a double and single bed in it along with a fridge and kettle/tea/coffee — something we didn't get in any other hotels we stayed in during our tour. We were right next to reception and Wi-Fi was good in the room, again something we didn't get elsewhere. (There are several routers to pick from so assume this covered the whole area). The rooms are on the complex but not attached to reception area etc.
Nice restaurant/bar and pool area, overlooking the beach which was lovely to wander along. We lay by the pool in the afternoon, nice to have a rest.
Bar deficient in gin, tequilla and ice despite offering serveral cocktails including these spirits. This seemed to be an issue in Madagascar, they don't replenish stocks when the bottle is empty!
Food was OK and staff friendly, speaking adequate English to order items.
Overall a pleasant stay.

The hotel overall is fine, the staff was nice, the pool area is very nice, I’d say the best out of all hotels that are nearby. However:
— the restaurant and bar staff takes a looong time to provide service sometimes, despite not having lots of guests to take care of.
— We had cockroaches in the room, but that’s pretty standard for Mada.
— The rooms are spacious but pretty old, they could use a renovation.
— Food and drinks are expensive taking into consideration their quality, which was not ideal.
— We had two breakfasts there and to our surprise, the 2nd breakfast was significantly worse than the 1st one. On our first breakfast, my husband received fresh bread, while I got stale one. Here their reaction was fine as I got a new one as soon as I informed them about this. On 2nd breakfast though, we received piece of bread that was literally in a size of 1/3 of the one we got during 1st breakfast. Instead of full glass of juice we got a juice in a shot glass. Not sure where these discrepancies come from as both of these were american breakfasts, pretty strange and disappointing though.

The staff is super slow and you literally need to ask for every single item at the restaurant. Need spoon, butter, jam or eggs — go to the kitchen and beg for it yourself. Everyone seem to be indifferent and not friendly.
Bathroom stinks too.

Clean spacious room with direct access to the beach. Had a nice breakfast by the pool with a view of the beach in the morning.
The hotel and rooms are not cutely decorated or with much character but clean and safe.
The receptionist was very accomodation — we showed up at10pm without a reservation and he was able to get us a room, and check us in quickly.

We stayed for 3 nights while in Morondava. Rooms were large and comfortable. In room safe, air conditioning, fan, blow dryer, free Wi-Fi (sometimes sporadic). Nice pool looking at the sea with lounger chairs and umbrellas. Easy access to the beach and watching locals. Some women stop by to sell wares. Security round the clock. Restaurant meals available. Dinner entrees 30, 000, salad 20, 000, alcoholic drinks, breakfast is 30, 000 or under. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Room is too much dirty seem likes no clean up long time ago, there is cockroach in the bathroom and more died under the table and under pillows also. Bath towel is also not clean. We can't use water for brush teeth due to rust smell. We stayed 2 nights no cleaning service and no provide drinking water.
We reached here late night. So. We can't do anything. Please avoid to be here. It's waste of money. However staff is good service mind. Smiling.

Rooms were extremely dirty. It did not look like the room had been entered or cleaned in months, with dirt on the floors and dust all around. There were about 10 cockroaches the bathroom and coming out of the shower drain. Nice proximity to the beach but very far from the Center of town. Food and drinks were okay but not worth the prices. Would recommend to stay somewhere else. Very overpriced for what you get.

Mixed feelings about this hotel. First night was a disaster. AC didn’t work, fan was very loud, Wi-Fi didn’t work. Second night they fixed the AC and the Wi-Fi (only after I complained), which made the stay so much better. Rooms look like a cave and even during the day, you have to turn the lights on. Asked for room service and they forgot to open the bottle, so I had to break it open. Food from the restaurant is average. A window in the bathroom was not closing, which meant insects got in (saw a beetle on the first night and a cockroach on the second). That being said, installations are good, for Morondava standards, the restaurant has a variable menu, there’s a souvenir shop inside the hotel and the location is fantastic, right across the beach.

Very nice pool, direct access to the beach, nice restaurant with good food. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and in general we are very happy with the stay.
The only thing that is missing to a 5-star review is that our daughter left her mascott there and after emailing the hotel nobody even answered.

Only a short overnight stay in between two days of travel, but rooms were comfortable and spacious. Bathroom a bit basic — our shower head broke. Restaurant had a lot more range than other hotels in this region — offered local food as well as pizzas and a range of other styles, nothing special but good after several days in the bush.
Wifi in the rooms worked well. Staff seemed helpful.
Pool and a nice view of the sea with easy access to the beach.
Overall, nicer than other hotels on this side of Madagascar.

Poor Wi-Fi. Room a bit dated. Bad water pressure.
Negative check out. Credit card machine didnt work. I dont walk around with a couple of million Ariary. The staff does NOT tell you when you check in, or before you check in with an email, or update their website. Common sense would say you would want your customer to know.
Even more irritating over such a small thing, the change the staff owed me was 13, 600. The staff, gave me 13, 000 in change, saying they dont have 600. Not my problem.
