Very nice Bungalows away from the center near an amazing and clean endless beach. Very polite and helpful staff, good food clean and safe. In the resort next to it you can experience lemurs hopping on you as well.

To flee! Expensive room, tourist trap, no hot water or electricity and rats that wander around the room all night and rummage in bags for food. When I explained my night it was “normal” because the person validated the fact that she knew about the rats. Everything is fine then, I didn't sleep a wink all night and paid for my room in full (more expensive than all my other nights in the country). It's a shame.

Firstly the staff was pleasant though not proactive. The whole resort is dilapidated. We appeared to be the only patrons for the one night of our stay. You should really go through each room to make sure it is in working order before you put guests in them.
The good:
-Pleasant staff.
-beautiful sunset.
-nice layout.
-20 minute stroll to the beach.
-dinner was ok and fairly priced.
-breakfast was ok and fairly priced.
-beautiful dining area.
-nice looking swimming pool.
-only minutes from the airport and downtown Morondava.
The bad:
-they refused to take credit card. Watching my statement to be sure it doesn’t get charged through Bookings. Com.
-Power is on 6 pm to 11 pm. 5 am to 6 am and then at 8 am briefly.
— rooms are not maintained.
We arrived around 5:40 pm and had to change huts as the lights didn’t work and the AC plug was melted. This took about 30 minutes for some reason. 2nd room toilet seat was cracked, I mentioned it to 2 staff and no one came to change it. The bed mosquito net did not close properly. When I sat on the edge of the bed to pack it fell in as the frame was damaged. The door had a typical skeleton key that likely fit other huts.
-The 1st hut and the 2nd were moldy.
-Bookings. Com advertisement says soundproof rooms. We could hear people all morning outside our hut.
-no hot water. Hotel staff told us hot water would be available 15 minutes after we turn it on. I left the faucet open for hours and no water came out.
