This place should be an ideal but it turn to be a disaster bec of unprofessional employee/staff! This conduct must be addresed as a serious matter and this may give a negative effect for all the teams most likely the firm. However despite of everything, be responsible, look forward, be professional, make a positive working environment to promote efficiency and productivity!

All the staff are very friendly from the receptionist to restaurant staff, the room are clean and spacious and the food are good. Over all we enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Hands up guys. We'll definitely going back soon.

Classy hotel with very nice and spacious rooms with super comfy beds in typical Sofitel style — very much as you would expect. We were a bit disapointed by the Internet device provided, it turned out to be a not very performant Android 6 powered, restricted phone preset to Chinese language (with call history of the previous users to their home countries apparently unerased), but even when set to English we weren't able to activate the hotspot functionality. The pool and spa area were lovely with exemplary friendly staff. Room service was very attentive. We did not like the bazaar style way of trying to sell us a suite upon check in. As an Accor Gold member, we either expect a complimentary upgrade or not to be bothered. Same goes for lounge access. All in all, a solid hotel choice for old Macau we would definitely book again. For travel to the fancy casinos, use the free hotel shuttle to Outer Harbour ferry terminal and switch to another hotel shuttle there.

Great hotel in the traditional part of Macau. Away from the new attractions but can also be a good thing. The service got better over the years. You can find everything you need as expected from a top class hotel. Including a Chinese restaurant in one of the high floors with a great view over a river. There are 3 other restaurants ranging from snacks at the bar to a private French restaurant. All very tasty, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Mary who checked us in was super kind. Kudos to her. Our room was very clean and the bed was so comfy. You’ll love staying here if you value a good nights sleep! I’m not lost travel podcast always recommends this place!

Nice location, just a few mins walk to Ruins of St. Paul's Church and the main street, quite accessible. Very accommodating & helpful staff, proactively offered a birthday cake to my husband after she noticed the date on his ID card while checking in. Impressive. Clean and spacious room, a very pleasant stay.

The options for a meal are not many, taste is good, but the conversion CP value is really high, recommended a variety of seafood and dessert bar, especially the heat wave, a cold cup of black tea entrance, super sentiment. This French-inspired hotel is located near Macau's must-visit attraction, The Big Three Bus. Summer inflammation, want to eat a little snack near the scenic spot, a lot of people, then Guisen, if you want to save some money, you have to endure the heat, street standing to eat. This time you'll find lunch at a top hotel, $600, and enjoy a cold drink and seafood.

Space is small, but the business is very good, there are a minimum note 100 of 21 points, but only one table, the casino overall feel darker, but the choice of beverage supply, whether it is self-service or the delivery of staff, are still easy to obtain.

The oriental restaurant on the top floor has gone down lately. I don't recommend it.

The Sofitel at Ponte 16 is an absolute top hotel in Macau — of course it's not as gigantic as the Venetian, etc. But for that in every relationship top. The rooms are very spacious and equipped with a free smartphone (ideal as a hotspot). The main tourist highlights are within walking distance and for the airport, the ferry terminal, etc. There are free shuttle buses. I would like to highlight the free spa/pool area — great for relaxing.

We stayed for 4nights with my family in a mansion room. The hotel is well located, not far from the historical centre. Our room was just perfect : large, clean, well viewed… and with great amenities! All the staff has been very sweet and attentive during our stay.
The mansion swinming pool is also very nice. Finally, we had diner at Le Chinois : excellent way to discover chinese food! We had a fantastic stay and look forward to be back again!

Located in the Inner Harbor (1944). The entertainment Hotel at the end of the new road. The special style is to enjoy the fishing port's appearance. It also brings a drunk in the tour. Five-star 诮 fee is slightly lower. This is a good place for visitors.

Already our second time here. Buffet is yummy with plenty of choices which is refilled continuously. Room on Executive floor is really grand and spacious, thanks for the welcome drinks and fruits plate. Service is good. Worth paying a visit. Cake is yummy too in the lobby lounge.

Obviously it is a great hotel, with a lot of pass. But we are in Macau:-). For the guests Accor Platinum VIP, access to the 17th floor, quiet, with quality of the perfect service. Good location Nice pool. Nice gym. Casino downstairs. Multiple bus and shuttle lines at the bottom of the hotel. Frankly, a stay there is very nice.

Always catch up with my friends while I backed to Macau at Point 16. The Cantonese restaurant located at level 18 is reasonable good. The lobby cafe is my favourite with the crystal like curtain decorative around the back of the Cafe. The price is reasonable, services are good. Also, there is free parking for any spending at the hotel.

I don't like Taipa's hotel, it's not very convenient to go out, just newer! But to eat, the price is staggering, a dish of fried noodles, almost two Bai, so ordered 16 Pu room + breakfast + round-trip ticket, although the old, but maintenance is very good, very comfortable, special spa fee package, about eight dollars, the wife evaluation is good, breakfast, style is not too small, there is juice and comb to provide, can eat full belly, very good!

Excellent attention. From the hotel you can walk to all the attractions of the historical city centre. For the rest a taxi for less than 10 uss takes you to where you want to or have the mics from the hotel to the arrival of the ferry and from there to the hotels in the cotai area or other parts of the city. The 3D world of the 3rd floor is closed for 10 more days.

Live three nights was upgraded into a sea view room, just in the airport bought SIM card can not surf the internet, fortunately, the room has a mobile phone to go out of the Internet very good, away from the snacks and very convenient, every day to go to the junior bar or the emperor near to eat … tired to come back to go out the only inconvenient is no airport shuttle, Just first go to the Venetian shopping luggage, Shun Rua do cunha, and then take the free car to the Macau ferry terminal, then from the Macau Ferry terminal to the hotel although the Macau Peninsula is far from the airport, but in this area four days is very leisurely, the way ring bus also pretty fast, will recommend friends to live.

From Check In we were upgraded to the Executive floor which was a nice surprise. Princess at reception was lovely and helpful during the check in process. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a delight every morning. There was a handsome young man, whose name I did not get, who was at breakfast on our last day who was genuine, helpful and lovely. I felt welcome every time I returned to the hotel from exploring Macau. I would stay here again.

My family and I went for a short vacation. 4days/3nite for birthday celebration for a birthday boy and a birthday girl and also just to rejuvenate our tired body and mind after a long hours of stressful work upon checked in, all the staff were very cordial welcoming and friendly. Awesome service.

The foods was superb. Staff were accomodating too. Welldone. The only make me disappointed is the bar/lounge at lobby early last order that make us can't enjoy the drink. Definitely will come n dine in again. Housekeeping staff was awesome, clean and tidy room. Just a minor complaint, upon check in been promise by the receptions staff send a cake for once of my family member birthday through out 4 day we stay dint received anything from them. Really disappointed looking foward to staying there again.

The plugs for changing are all loose… please review it and do some touch up on it… Bed sheet too thick… started sweating in the middle of the night which is a very bad experience… Missing some cotton butt. Request to check out later then 12pm like 1pm but was rejected. Disappointed. Got two hours extension when in Thailand in July so was shock that even I am member since request was not agreeable. Overall lovely hotel and love the gym and pool…

We had a room with lounge access, very pleasant of the size, modern bathroom, the shower could work better, everything you need. The room could be reworked as a whole, it was giving some little touches that no longer worked Quite. The lounge is well stocked, the food ok, not outstanding but ok, the Atmosphöre very nice. The staff is very helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent to walk to the old town, to the casinos you drive by taxi, the taxi rates are Favorable.

We had a great experience at the Sofitel Macau. Just upon our arrival we did upgrade our room. We stayed on the 17th floor in a room with check-in priority and with wonderful views to the city of Macao, we even came to receive the manager of the hotel personally. Needless to mention the excellent infrastructure of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. Thank you for treating us so well during our stay, we will return!

The hotel is very fancy. There are many things to do like Racing, swimming, going to the gym, eating, drinking, hanging out and more. There is a 3D museum as well. They offer fresh cookies and apples at the counter as well as a drink when you check in. The rooms are clean and luxurious. It is a high tech room with a phone that you are free to use. It is in walking distance to the ruins of St. Paul and a huge shopping area. The hotel is beautiful and is a great place to stay. Would recommend 100%

We really happy with the nice luxury room, nice bed, beautiful pool and harbor view from our window, and also warm and friendly hospitality from all staff. The breakfast was good enough, but we prefer more tasty food variation. The staff was very friendly. The location is near to senado square. Just walk straight for about 5 minutes. Overall we had spent great time there for 2 night. Thanks!

Just finished spending four fabulous nights staying at the Sofitel Macau. Our room was perfect for us and a welcome retreat at the end of each day out exploring. The location is great, a few minutes walk into the old city and 15 minutes in a taxi to the glitzy casino strip. The staff were all so warm and friendly, a big thank you to Paige who went out of her way to welcome us and provide personal recommendations on where to dine and drink and was always a friendly face to chat with and to Quentin who helped make my birthday dinner special. Thank you both! Overall the standard of food at the breakfast was excellent and would happily recommend anyone to stay here.

Warmly welcomed by the staff. having breakfast at the lounge on 17/F is one of the best experiences in Macau. staff helped us pro-actively and always with sincerity and a warm smile. hotel location is wonderful. room with a good view and the bed was very comfy. we enjoyed our swim with sunset. It would be perfect if the swimming pool is bigger. It gets rather crowded when there were kids and families floating around while we were trying to swim.

Not worth the money we had booked a "luxurious room Club sofitel" for converted EUR 290. Here's the Summary: 1. The shuttle bus from the ferry terminal was a pure case. 50 min Waiting with full baggage in a long queue. Reason: the Hotel's shuttle bus line mainly does not include hotel guests (recognizable without luggage) and since hotel guests have no priority, they wait for an eternity 2. Check in was good, staff very friendly 3. The room was nice with good views. However, a bit noisy for a hotel of this price range 4. The pool was not sufficiently heated and there were no beds free when we got There. The pool itself was more of a family pool with lots of shouts and syringes and less suitable for resting well. All in All: the hotel is OK but 290 EUR the night by far not worth it.

In a few words I can tell you that the reception was very warm, human and full of attention. All the staff was in small care, smiling, helpful, ready to answer your questions, efficient, fast. The atmosphere was a delight with a feeling of being privileged.

The management of this hotel is very considerate for their guests with welcome drinks, biscuits and fruits. I don't think I can find any other hotel in Macau with such warm welcome for their guests. All staff are polite and helpful. The food and drinks are so excellent that we don't need to eat outside the hotel. The hotel keeps good record of the client's need. I just asked for the local newspaper once during my first stay in the hotel. I was so amazed to have it prepared outside my room door the next morning during my second stay. Of course, I had this prepared for me during my third stay. Well done by the hotel staff. Very much appreciated! However, there is one minor point for improvement. That is the armchair in 1613 needs replacement for the cushion is worn out.

This is my second experience at a Sofitel hotel. In Macau, Ponte 16 gave me complete satisfaction.
The reception and all the services were impeccable. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet especially delicious.

Very comfortable stay Althought it's a bit old very quiet also.

Pros: Check in and check out were smooth and the staff were always kind and smiling. The rooms are spacious and had good sound proofing. Hallways are also of decent size (some hotel hallways in Macau are a bit small). Bathroom was very clean and toiletries were from L'occitane (even bathrooms in the hotel lobby). Senado square and Ruins of St Paul are approximately 10-15 mins from the hotel on foot. There's also a convenience store near the hotel. Cons: The hotel only has shuttle buses to and from Macau Ferry terminal and Border Gate. So if you're coming from Taipa ferry terminal or the airport, you need to take a cab (payment is roughly 100 MOP) or ride Public Bus 26 (the fare is fixed at 3.2 MOP). We just noticed that Public Bus 26 (which stops in front of the hotel) is almost always full when it passes by the hotel in going to the airport so we just took a cab. From Taipa ferry terminal, that bus is usually empty, though.

This is the worst 5 stars hotel I ever stayed, from understanding of inclusions of the room price, smell in the hallway, and the room. Our room rate includes 1 free afternoon tea set, but apparently it seems the front desk is not aware of this promotion. They agree to check for me and answered the next day that I can just go use it and give the room number. When we used the afternoon tea, I explicitly said to the waitress and wrote on the invoice that it is already included in the room rate. Yet, when check out comes, I was charged extra for the afternoon tea set. Had I had an express check out, I would have been charged for it. In addition, the front desk still had no clue that they're not to charge for it. Until I provide an email confirmation from Accor and they went to talk to reservation, only then would they reverse the charge. A 3 min check out turned into a 40 min nightmare. The hallway to the room was beyond abysmal. The smell stinks badly it's like walking through the sewage. This is not what one would expect from a 2 star hotel, much less a 5 star. The room also has an air con problem. There temperature is permanently stuck on 20c and it's not possible to change it. After calling front desk, their answer is the air con is centralized and cannot be changed. This is very disappointing as it is too cold that I got sick during the trip due to freezing room temperature. I would highly recommend against this hotel.

Overall service was good and room was large with a great view. It is also not too far from key major points of interest, but probably not the best place to stay if you are looking to hit up the different casinos.

First let me talk, staying at the holistic experience, second stay at the Sofitel, both experiences were very good, although 2 years apart hotel in terms of decoration to service, remains the same as in my memory, 11 holiday prices are slightly more expensive, but totally worth it

The Sofitel at Ponte 16 hotel is a very comfortable hotel, hotel is located in the island of Macau, hotel is near the business district and the main attractions, and transportation is very convenient. Hotel rooms are spacious, high level of service and value for money is good.

No complaints about my stay in this hotel. Had a good time. I needed something, and they got it for me. There is shuttle bus that goes to the Gongbei port borders. And shuttle bus from Gongbei port borders to here.

My daughter and I stayed at the Sofitel Ponte 16 and we were absolutely delighted with the excellent service, from the charming Aldren Ferraro who escorted us to our beautiful room, the lovely staff in the dining room and in the health spa to the bellboys who cared for our luggage and helped us get to Hong Kong Airport, getting our taxi and loading us in with a smile and a wave. Especially the young man who came from the gymnasium out to the street and helped me inside when I fell over at the traffic lights. He telephoned for a wheelchair, carried me across the road and wheeled me up to my room. Luckily I have recovered completely and I would like you to thank him for me and give him a raise. If anyone wishes to luxuriate in the finest service and care, go to the Sofitel Ponte 16, Macau. Maureen Stephens, South Australia.

Room and Facilities were excellent, however frontdesk staff was less proffesional. He was trying to persuade me to upgrade the room with some additional price which was wasting my time. He mislead me with information of free breakfast for my kids which actually they had to pay it. And he miscalculated amount that I should pay with a difference of 400 MOP. But in overall, we have pleasant time staying at this hotel.

This is not a 5 star > Hotel more! never. My name is Sasha and I realy love the sofitels around the world. However, it is more than just a pity that it worsens every year. A sofitel is a luxury hotel a brand. A manuscript, the man world erkkennen can, must. However unfortunately this is history. It's all about cash. I eat at the lunch buffet, which is the same as in the evening. Indeed, I believe that I've seen in the evening the same salami such as at lunch, I'm tired. Will meet in the nächstgen a "book write here what is so bad in detail. " say hello to the head chef from France, who was never there. Maybe too much at play in the casinos.

Stayed here over the Spring festival period and was very disappointed with the staff, although the rooms were excellent. While the concierge did his best to book a good restaurant and good show seats for us, we almost didn't make it to either because of avoidable mix ups. In a country that specialises in luxury, the lack of quality staff at this hotel really strained the 'luxury' image that Sifitel tries to maintain. Also is a longer way from the exciting places than other hotels which had better and more helpful English-speaking staff.
