We were having dinner on Saturday 12 February celebrating Valentine. First of all the waiter came with an open bottle of water to serve us. Second the food was cold so we couldnt eat a thing. Third the wine was not refrigerated and so I had to wait for the waiter to serve me instead of kreping a bottle on each table. I wad shocked.

I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. First two nights I had the bidet not functioning dispute my complaint to the front desk and to the manager. At the end I was threatened by the front desk (I videotaped the threat) and will take it to the next level. Aside from the issue above. Here’re few things if someone think about staying there: — expect no room service without paying money (one towel only is available. You use it for your face, body, and/or floor… (your choice) — coffee cups left used for four straight night without being cleaned. — if you complain about any of the services, you’ll get punished by removing the hot water kettle and not having your only towel changed … I was paying to the maid extra money to have my towel replaced. — no room service is available after 7PM. Be prepared.

The hotel it self is pretty nice and the staff are amazing and super friendly not to mention the great location where everything is close and the view from all the rooms is great… BUT, if you have babies or you simply hate loud noise then I super don't recommend it because there is a very nice bar that belongs to the same hotel that plays loud music and the rooms are super close to the street where everyone for some reason wants to show off their cars or bikes so they keep pressing the gas all the way and they also play super loud music even louder than the bar so you feel that there is a never ending party in your room and it keeps going on till 4 am! I really really really loved the hotel in every way except what I mentioned cause I travelled with a baby and the locals made my experience a nightmare. But I still highly recommend it.

A great place for photos.

The view from the rooms is amazing, in the morning you will wake up watching the wonderful sea. The fornitures of the standard room we have booked are nice, separated toilette (with bidet! ) from the shower cabin, a big bed and a sofa. Valet parking available. The best thing is for sure the breakfast, you will find all the Lebanese ingredients and also the continental breakfast is available.

Amazing place, you can swim, enjoy a beautiful dinner along a breathtaking sunset… Its a summer venue by all its means.

My husband and I stayed here for two night while being in Lebanon. The first night we tried to go to sleep around 10pm and we couldn't because the neighbors 2 rooms down from us kept slamming their doors and yelling and talking very loud. We contacted the front desk and they sent someone to check. It stopped for about 10 minutes then continued. Right as we were falling asleep another door slammed. I finally had it and went to the front desk and told them it was still happening. The gentleman there was very nice and accommodating and moved us for that night with no problem. The next day we spoke to the manager asking her if it continued tonight what were our options. She then said the hotel was booked and couldn't do anything. We go about our day and come back at 8pm and there was loud talking but it was still pretty early. The stopping talks and within a few minutes there is loud music playing from the ground floor and we can hear it loud from the second floor. The music didn't stop until almost midnight and at 6am people woke us up with door slammings and talking loudly. I went to tell the front desk we were not happy with our stay and the agent tells me I should have called last night because they were going to move us to a different room. How could they move us if the hotel was "booked" according to the manager. I told the agent that the neighbors were loud and she said nobody was next to us but we both saw them go into that room. She then said they just checked out.

We had a lovely time there, the view of the beach, the hotel is in the center of the city, the stuff are helpful and it’s very clean.

Tried the hotel restaurant which was good. Valet parking is available with pricing listed upfront.

Exceptional hotel, ideal location with sea view, what to ask for more… very clean, staff to the small care, very quiet, refined breakfast typically Lebanese… hotel to recommend without hesitation.

Great place by the sea. Beautiful place with the seaside out front and a beautiful little city at your back. Great restaurants and wonderful places to walk. The hotel has good sized rooms with a few nice touches. There are several comfortable places to hang out, the breakfast is nice and the dining is good.

Stated as one of the worlds oldest harbours its roots are fascinating and clearly one of the most beautiful marinas lending it as a wonderful venue for such as wine fastivals… YET Lebanon turns it into a car park on such occasions, and on a regular daily basis?

We had a lovely stay in the hotel but what a way for our stay to be ruined by your rude and ignorant parking company who were heard swearing at people and rude to us collecting our cars, even following us hitting the windows. Disgusting service we actually wanted to come back but this has definitely ruined our experience. We weren't even able to get our bags out in peace when we arrived we have young children and all the luggage that comes with it.

It's a beautiful 5 stars boutique hotel, located in the heart of one of the oldest city in the world Byblos, heaving a nice view on the Mediterranean sea, its a cosy place, & the food is so delicious.

A location to die for just steps away from the ancient ruins and old port. The rooms are nicely appointed to reflect the ambient culture and history. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous.
The vast array of breakfast items is as authentic as it can get as well as locally sourced.
The multi layered dinner that was served at the wedding the night before was sumptuous and the service impeccable.
All in all the experience will be remembered fondly for years to come!

We dropped in for breakfast as our hotel staff weren't awake before us, pricey but very much enjoyed our coffee, juice and the rest of the breakfast buffet.

Booking a room at this luxurious hotel is worth the money. You'd feel the history the moment you enter.

Oct 2014 — When I stepped into this hotel, I felt like I have stepped into history. This place is luxurious, tastefully decorated. Attended a wedding here and the banquet hall was build on top of ruins with glass flooring so you can see the ruins below. You can swim in the sea just outside the hotel as well.

Byblos sur mer is tge nicest place in jbeil.

One of the nicest hotels in town. The building feels completely new inside, the rooms are very nice and lavishly furnished. It's right on the water and as close to Byblos and all the restaurants as can be. They have a nice pool and direct access to the Mediterranean. Highly recommended.
