We were delighted with the overall experience. A very family friendly environment and safe place for kids. The service was astonishing we felt the luxury in every aspect of the hotel.

Great hotel in terms of service, cleanliness, beautiful view, comfortable and spacious rooms.

The rudest most unprofessional receptionist at the pool reception (not the main hotel)! extremely dissapointing and I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on such an establishment. I tried calling at first to resolve the situation (yes I was frustrated, but never rude! ). Anyway. She hung up on me while I was still speaking! We then proceeded to leave and she was more than enthusiastic and excited to issue the refund. There is a way to communicate a certain point with customers that travelled an hour to reach and enjoy a day at the pool. If you want to work in the hotel industry … then get proper training first!

There was no stay in the first place because we called more than 4 times to make a reservation, and when you call, they answer and tell you that you are being transferred to reservations and them you wait … So to be honest if making a reservation is this bad then who knows how the inside service will be … Especially in this lebanese situation where one cant afford to lose a client and disrespect them with making them wait for nothing …

I booked for my wedding and paid a fortune, expecting a 5 star service as it was a 5 star hotel. I got the smallest room in the hotel, not a bridal suite as it is expected, with the excuse that they were fully booked and that I personally did not choose the room I want (as if I should choose my bridal room in a 5 stars hotel) and they couldnt give me a bigger room (the room was supposed to be booked when I booked for the wedding not last minute). The room was so small to the point that my wedding dress could not be hung properly for photoshoots etc… We asked for our dinner and it took an hour to arrive. We asked for a lighter, it never came. After waiting 30 minutes, we called the reception to ask why the lighter did not arrive, and they told us they did not have a lighter. The least they could have done was call us and inform us there is no lighter! After arguing with them, they agreed to give us late checkout but they called the room at 11 in the morning to ask us to leave. They gave us a room to change before the wedding. In the middle of the wedding they came and ask us to take our things out of the room Overall, I am very disappointed with the service of this hotel that should be holding up to its 5 star rating. Their unprofessionalism and lack of responsibility has really caused alot of unnecessary stress and headache. I will not be returning nor recommending this hotel.

Unprofessional staff, rude behavior, not recommended at all.

Mr Jamal Kaakour, a Lebanese milionere businessman, who was forced to open his suitcase on charges of stealing a towel from the hotel in which he stayed for 10 days for $600 per night. Mr. Jamal is known as a very respectful person from everyone around him and you can see that from the way he is talking, All what I want is to talk to the manager who took this decision and ask him what he was thinking.

Staff is not professional. Client was asked to open his bag thinking that he steals a towel. And he is not!

I visit lower pool and the waiter mustapha was perfect 👌🏻 and excellent service with us.

Everything is nice, clean and organized. Staff is helpful. At the pool Ahmad Mattar and Karim are amazing waiters, very helpful and friendly, they are the best.

Worst hotel with horrible service.
Our journey started all the way from check in until check out. First, at check in the reception was very strict with no smile even she ordered us to go to the room. No bell boy is available, my husband had to hold the luggage. Besides, no one escorted us to the room so we had to search by ourselves till we found the room. When we had the reservation we requested to have honeymooner decoration which also was not found. Besides, at night we called the room service to request extra pillows he told us in a very bad way it is not my job. He did not even transferred us to someone else that may help us. This hotel deserves to have 0 star not a 5 star hotel. We know its high season but this does not means to treat guests in such a way. I wont repeat it and reserve a room at their.

When I called to ask for beach entrance for none members they said u can pay and enter i've send my son with his friends they did not let them enter saying they have no cabin. I called the hotel they said they are not allowed since they are 15 years old and they need an adult with them.
how come if they had a cabin they can enter without an adult?
anyways they is plenty of beautiful beaches in lebanon that respects themselves and have a clear policy.

I spent a wonderful day with my family and I had great service from afif and the place is super clean.

Nice place, good rooms and swimming pools, the sand beach is also nice and clean. The sea side restaurant has a nice panoramic view.

Great food but the buffet needs to be more rich specially in fruits, ice cream.

I liked it, beach beautiful, staff great! except I didn't like the loud music at the beautiful sandy beach! it didn't give me a moment of quiet relaxation and bothered me. It is a beautiful setting, but please keep the music at the pool and turn it off at the beach so we can relax and read.

Had a great experience again since my family and I spend two weeks last year at the resort, we decided to spend three weeks this year. The staff was amazing, service impeccable! When you go back to the hotel, you feel as if you are going back home! Many of the staff knew our names. I highly recommend it!

Very luxurious love the breakfast buffet, staff were great accomodating & spoke excellent english! Only negative was that I paid extra to book a seaview room and there was no sea-view in sight…

The pros: Beautiful resort, good food, generous with variety and portions The cons: — location — service and hygiene: having spent 24 hours in this hotel, we noticed that the staff was overall not in a good mood, not a single smile. The service was horrible, from booking until checkout. We were told we had no reservation, then were asked to take a more basic room, after plenty of debate, we were given the room we booked. Bathroom in the room was not clean (bathtub had plenty of hair), waiters were all extremely amateur (eg: we asked for bread, they brought it with their hands and put on our table, not even a plate, very shocking; eg 2: while serving the mezze, the waiter’s fingers were dipped in every single dish). -The spa therapists were excellent, service was average, the spa was not clean. — Upon checkout, we were charged $20 for overnight parking, despite having spent the night in an expensive room. Certainly does not live up to the Kempinski name. A very poor experience and is not recommended.

The staff at Kempinski Hotel and Resort Beirut were incredibly nice and ready to help at any moment of the day. Excellent service. Great food. The interiors of the hotel is surprisingly very pleasantly modern with good lighting. The pools are very relaxing and big, especially the resort part. There’s a restaurant on the beach part of the resort that also has great food. Wouldn’t swim in the actual sea, however, Kempinski’s pools make up for Beirut’s polluted sea water.

This hotel is unique. Best hotel greeting they offered us drinks and then we went to the room. The room was spacious. Everything was digital even the shutters. At night we went to a cafe in the hotel. We sat and then looked and saw the breathtaking view.

Amazing hotel with very good customer service across the board. Rooms are amazing with totally different modern thus luxury and rich feel and look. Facilities are great.

This resort is the embodiment of traveling while still being in the city. It offers a beautiful escapade from the daily stresses of Beirut and all the luxury and amenities of the best hotels in the best destinations around the world. Truly recommended.

Luxurious Hotel. Not far from shopping locations in Verdun. Nice Beach and sea view.

Too artificial. No atmosphere. Too fancy, and fare to expensive. If you are not a millionaire and love bling, stay away.

The worst new year's eve party ever. No one cares about you, no preparations, no food quality, no service, no nothing! Shame on You! No one even called back after my complaint! Not recommended at all!

We spent two nights at the Kempinski and I must say that everything was excellent and perfect. We would definitely recommend this luxurious place for both business and pleasure.

One of Lebanon’s finest, upscale and elite hotels, managed professionally and operated in style, The Kempinski Beirut never seized to amaze me with its luxury feel and finesse. I’ve been here several times already, and grabbing my phone to take photos of the details has become automatic like if it was the first. Calm and serenity, a wide lobby, a middle lounge area and a lower floor where food is served. I like the private feel of the place. Far from the city’s center, the Kempinski’s location doesn’t help it be a gathering point for the local elite crowd; nevertheless I love coming here for the calm and personalized attention they give me. Tried lunch twice and today, visiting breakfast I felt amazement the minute I walked the wide dining space.

Good. The non seafood section is very limited. Not so good for a non seafood eater like me! the restaurant is nice the staff are very nice and the view is great. Plus they have a cute band on saturdays. But the food wasnt a big deal for me.

Beautiful rooms with great views, the staff will go out of their way to make your stay just perfect. The food is made with care and attention to detail. I enjoyed very much my lunches at Pier78 restaurant!

Excellent food and cuisine choices but the service should be adjusted. The rooms are equiped with high tech boards with a nice view. A lot of amazing pools with a lovely ambiance.

There is something won't with that place. The ambiance is not good. The structure doesn't fit the surroundings.

I had a short visit with a friend to the Summer land Tourist Complex, currently (kempinski). The project surprised me and I felt myself in a country of Europe or South America with stunning views that can not describe the beauty of the project and its organization in terms of engineering, with the facilitation of mobility between buildings and swimming pools And multiple restaurants. It's a wonderful project and very flamboyant. We wish you success and the continuation of the establishment of tourism projects in several areas of Lebanon.

Well designed interior with a very warm welcoming feeling to it. Amazing view & friendly staff their buffet breakfast was delicious but needed some improvements in service & speed. (swimming in the Islamic suit was not an issue so we did not experience racism which is wonderful). My family and I had a great time, I would love to visit again. Amineh.

Super racist hotel. I've traveled all over America, Mexico and the Dominican republic, and this is the first time I hear that a hotel won't allow a women who wears a head scarf swim in the pool or ocean. We explained that she will be wearing a burqine, but they still don't allow it. For a majority Muslim country this is disgusting. Feeling really ashamed to be Lebeanse at the moment.

The views from this hotel are quite amazing you should visit Pier78 the restaurant by the water is beautiful and has amazing seafood choices.

It is good overallt, but I had many problems with the service. I checked in and after that I went to my room and it as dirty, I called them 6 times to clean it but no one came. Next day they cleaned it so I slept in a dirty room. Afterall someone incharge came to me and solved my problem.

Very nice selection of mezze and hot dishes blend in a very nice dinner. The place can be cranky and crowded but the live music made it worth while.
