Aleph Boutique is such a charming stay in Byblos. Rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, with nice touches that make you feel at home. What stood out most was the staff — genuinely warm, friendly, and always ready to help. Their hospitality made the whole experience memorable.
The breakfast with views of the castle and sea is a great way to start the day, and the rooftop at sunset is even better for dinner!
I will definitely stay here again when I come to Byblos.

From the moment I arrived, the reception team welcomed me with warmth and professionalism. The service was outstanding, making everything easy and enjoyable. The room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. The location is excellent — close to everything, yet peaceful and calm. The rooftop is a hidden gem, offering the best view for those who appreciate meditation and serenity, far from any show-off vibes. A truly exceptional experience from start to finish.

I booked this hotel on the basis of high ratings and customer satisfaction on various travel portals. And they were spot on. Located within two minutes of the soup, downtown and maybe 5 minutes from the beach, it is very convenient.
Check in was smooth. The room was clean and comfortable. Yes, the neon lights in the room may not be to everyone's taste but then, that seems to be quite the norm in many properties of this category in Lebanon. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Mr Etien did an extraordinary job of helping me out with my booking which Agoda had messed up. Conversing in perfect English, Mr Etien ensured that I appreciated his city and enjoyed my vacation.
The breakfast room is on the top floor with a magnificent view of the castle ruins and the sea. Eggs to order are a thoughtful feature. My omelette with haloumi was delicious. The breakfast selection for this category of hotel is ample.
Checkout was smooth.

This is not our first stay at Aleph Boutique, but unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. We didn’t expect luxury since the price was reasonable, but the hotel seems neglected overall. The lobby, rooms, and bathrooms lack proper maintenance and cleanliness. Rooms are extremely small and the bathrooms are tiny with visible black spots. Toiletries are basic (shower gel and shampoo), and while a kettle is provided, it didn’t look clean enough to use.
Breakfast is very basic and repetitive, with limited options. The rooftop and outdoor areas are also poorly maintained.
On the positive side, the staff are welcoming and friendly, and the location is excellent. If you’re looking for an affordable place just to sleep and have a simple breakfast in Jbeil, it might work. However, don’t expect 4 — or 5-star standards.

The service is amazing there the front desk and the people upstairs are also nice. The morning breakfast was fantastic and the view was very nice. The location is very close to everything but it’s not the most pretty street especially with the garbage down the road which I understand is not their fault. The price is very fair. But what really prevented me from giving this place a five star was the smell of the room. I’m not sure if the drains need covers, but every single time we returned back to our room the gases from the drains would fill the room up with a sewage smell.

One of the best hotels you can stay in. The hotel is clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, they make you feel as if you are between your family. They have Lebanese breakfast every morning. The rates are affordable. The location is very convenient, walking distance to the beach, the shopping stores (the souk), restaurants, and ruins. Highly recommend this hotel.

The most amazing super cozu friendly clean hotel I have seen. It is super clean best location and view. It is like a meditation spot. From now on in lenanon summer winter ALEPH will be my place tp stay. I highly recommend everyome to stay here. Housekeeping super clean and breakfast as well.

I highly recommend Aleph Boutique Hotel. My favorite hotel in Byblos (Jbeil), I stayed several time and enjoyed my getaways there. Best location in Byblos. A boutique hotel with very friendly staff, and in a perfect location in Byblos, close to the Old Souq, Wax Museum, seaside and the Byblos castle ruins souk so near 2 min walk, cafes restaurants, castle, beach all easily reached by walking. Amazing view from rooms either to castle or sea view. And the best are the suites full castle and / or sea view. The Rooftop Bar has a splendid beautiful view to castle and sea specially during sunset. Enjoy breakfast in the dining room on 4th floor with a full sea view. Parking available & beach just a walking distance away. Super friendly staff, specially Etien at desk front and Sola sales manager. Sure, staying there again and again staff make you feel at home.

The rooms are clean but small. There is no hair conditioner or body lotion provided, and although there is a kettle, no coffee was available. The internet didn’t work all night, and the power went out twice during our stay. There was also an annoying sound of running water throughout the night. Breakfast is not a buffet but is adequate. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel has an excellent location.

⚠️ exercise extreme caution before booking. Don't get too tipsy looking at the pictures. Pillows were littered with hair, foundation stains and what not. Mini fridge had leftovers, towels had stains and the floor was incredibly dirty. Very bad housekeeping and horrible management for leaving the rooms un attended. No value for money.

Located at the heart of Byblos' old souks, near the beach and bustling markets, this hotel offers a prime location for exploring the historic surroundings. The receptionist greeted us warmly upon arrival, and throughout our stay, the property appeared to have a moderate number of guests.
Our stay was in a deluxe room featuring a spacious layout with a small living area adjoining the bedroom, which included a jacuzzi and bath. The room offered a pleasant view of ancient Roman-era buildings. It was well-maintained and tidy, equipped with amenities such as a mini-fridge, safe, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi.
While the water was hot, the jacuzzi did not fully meet expectations as several massage options were unavailable. Breakfast the following morning featured pancakes, assorted jams, cheeses, meats, croissants, and a selection of pastries and Arabic sweets. The food quality was average and didn't stand out.
Overall, our stay was satisfactory, though there is room for improvement in enhancing the guest experience. This hotel is recommended for a short stay of a few days, particularly due to its convenient location and adequate amenities.

Disappointing Experience at Alef Hotel: A Review of Cleanliness and Hospitality.
I want to leave a review for the Alef hotel regarding a disappointing experience my fiancée and I had last Friday, the 10th. From the moment we arrived until we promptly checked out, we encountered issues with cleanliness and hospitality that left us dissatisfied.
Upon arrival, I immediately noticed the lack of cleanliness in the room. Bathrobes and towels were visibly used and not clean, and they were carelessly placed in the cabinet under the sink in the bathroom. As is my habit, I thoroughly inspect the entire room upon check-in. Despite bringing this to the attention of the front desk manager, who promptly addressed it during our absence while we were visiting the Byblos region, our subsequent return revealed even more unsettling findings.
As I waited for my fiancée to finish her preparations, I decided to rest on the bed briefly. However, upon removing the pillows, I was horrified to discover significant black dirt and brownish stains on the bed's surface, particularly where one would typically rest their head. Disgusted and disappointed, I immediately contacted the front desk to express my concerns about the cleanliness standards of the hotel. To my dismay, the front desk initially suggested that I had removed the towels, completely disregarding the fact that it was, in fact, the bed sheets that were filthy.

Amazing place! Worth every cents. First of all, yes, it's quite expensive, but I booked a standard room. The room and facility looks a little old, but toilet is super new and clean and BED IS AMAZING! Pillows are so soft and comfy! Wow, I really wanted to know the brand. I slept like a baby!
The breakfast is something amazing too! I was the only customer at 9:00 and enjoyed my breakfast with view on the beautiful old byblos city. The waiter is very polite and nice, breakfast is super tasty and there is many things to try! Stuff and reception guys are great and always here to help!
Yes, sometimes there is electricity breakdowns but after a few mins you got your electric back. I didn't find any bad thing about the hotel actually.
Basically I would say: 10/10!
