Upon arrival I was notified that check in is today 1h later that usual! For no good reason I had to wait with my family to get our room. After a while we got the room but in another building (probably older part) was a little tricky with quite some luggages. Price wasnt worth it!
Otherwise location very good!

This hotel is not even close to 5 star hotel, hostel or motel at best. Staff never greeted us when we walked in passed the front desk. Rooms were not clean and didnt get cleaned by housekeeping daily. Rather they would fully clean every 3rd day, and daily only put new towels and take out garbage. Towels that were left were terribly worn out, with holes. I wouldn’t wash my floor with such towels. Bedsheet that was changed was left with a black stain that probably couldn’t be washed off. Yet such towels and sheets were getting reused by this hotel. I will never stay in this hotel again and very disappointed that me and my family spent such money even paying for this low class hotel.

Staff is not welcoming, rooms are very dirty, carpet is so dirty you can't step on it bare footed, towels are ripped and dirty, they change bedding once in 3 days, we stayed for 2 weeks A/C DIDN'T WORK FOR 9 OUT OF 13 DAYS. This should be changed to hostel as credit cards not accepted because supposedly credit card machine terminal is not working and for two weeks we were there it didnt get fixed. Shower has black mold, hair dryer is taped together. During breakfast I had paper that came out of hot milk that is made separately from the machine as coffee machine is old, dirty and barely works. Staff at breakfast were loud and yelling at each other. Fridge in a room is dirty! My kids had no rollaway bed for first 2 days as staff said it's not available. Then when they brought it was broken.

Excellent hotel on center but on a quiet road, very clean, 10 min walking from central bus station, good breakfast.

I really did not like that on the last day I was snared, calling me "his" taxi driver in the airport (who plucked from me a lot of money), and not the service that I asked for.

All is well, but the water is free put in the room only from 3 nights of accommodation.

The inflow and hood did not work, it was necessary to ventilate through the window and frost.

Renovated Hotel in a very central location convenient to reach, even on foot, the most interesting sites. Very close to the Italian embassy. Friendly and efficient Staff.

If you pick up, then: Cleaning depends on the shift;
One duvet cover of 3 with a hole, for 6 days linen did not change at all, but only redid;
The temperature of the water in the shower depends on whether one of the neighbors washes or not;-)

Rooms available both in larger and smaller format. Not always best planned though (bath tub that you couldn't stand in, since it was placed besides a sloping wall). Breakfast was very meh:ish.

The location is the best. It is in the centre of the old city. There are so many shops and resturants nearby only few minutes walking. Also haafez street, very famous street with so many shops and resturants. The only proble with hotel it is so simple. Rooms are spacious and classic. Their breakfast is not good at all. No options are their. So I suggest having breakfast outside.

Nice cozy hotel that has a great chef. The food was wonderfull and the staff was extremely nice.

Good value hotel, friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very average. Their credit card machine was broken so had to pay cash on check out, a bit annoying.

The Old City Boutique has perfect location. The staff was kind and helpful.
The beds were comfortable, the heated floor in the bathroom was nice and the Wi-Fi was very fast. Our room had view to the main street. It was quiet in the hotel. Clean room and nice decoration. We were visiting Riga from 1st of September until 4th. Very nice service at the bar.
The only negative experience we had that SPA wasn't working. We were informed about it when we arrived. It wasn't described on the website or on booking page.
We will definitely recommend it to all our friends. But update the information about SPA on your website.

Great location, but "boutique" is definitely something this place is not. Rooms would deserve a brush up, and breakfast offer has nothing that could be labelled as distantly healthy. And be ready that even that is taken away before the breakfast hours are over. Our presence 5mins before the closing was met with rolling eyes and disgruntled comments that we were "not meant to" be heard…

Super close location to absolutely everything! From old town to the two malls to the churches you name it hehe. Excellent service and help from the hotel Artur was amazing! Also great with helping you for late checkout and only $5 euros an extra hr of staying after that. Super solid hotel.

Location in the center of Old Town, close to hundreds of pubs and restaurants. Big shopping center discretely across the road. My room was simple but clean and comfortable. The walls are abit thin, but there was no ruckus. Breakfast was simple and edible. Prices were reasonable and there is a lovely reception area with comfy chairs and ancient brick wall.

Beautiful Hotel in the heart of the historic centre with a pedestrian zone just two passu!

The hotel is superb in many ways: location is in the very heart of old town, the room (we had a delux room for 3 persons at the top floor) was clean and airy, the staff is very polite and welcoming. We asked for a kettle to make a thermos the day before we left and were provided with a whole set for tea — and coffee-making including kettle, cups and teabags, coffee, etc. Another cool thing is having remains of old building brick walls restored and kept inside of the hotel.

Worst internet I have ever seen. Lots of Wi-Fi connection, but nothing is working.

Well located, quiet and spacious rooms. (Bold, in a tiny room with no window) disappointing breakfast.

The restaurant serves absolutely gorgeous food. My wife and I had beef fillet medallions. The portions came in beautifully assembled. They were grilled to perfection, with chocolate&chili sauce, cabbage braised in red wine, mash&bacon and some root veggies. While I couldn't taste the chili in the sauce, it suited the dish perfectly. The potato mash had lovely crispy bacon on top of it, and the braised cabbage was lovely, something I'd like to have with Christmas dinner. And the meat… We ordered ours medium to rare and got just that, juicy and tender. The main course was preceded by a selection of fresh breads, which was a lovely addition. We had creme brulee cheese cake for dessert. It was served with fresh berries (including HALVED blueberries! Who on earth would take the time to cut them in half? ) and even a few pansy flowers which tasted… um… floral. The only minus is that the c. B. Cheesecake itself could have done well with a fresh caramel surface. But that being said, the restaurant deserves full five point score. :)

Nice hotel well located in the city center. Room was clean and modern. Windows oriented to the street are not enough isolated because you can ear the nice coming from the street. Breakfast is good I didn't have dinner to the restaurant of the hotel.

Comfortable, with good service hotel. Ideal location for any visitor to the capital to appeal.
