Good hotel, clean and with a good breakfast. Beautiful location.

It was stated to be a 4-star hotel online. I booked a room and it was only 3-star on the entrance door when I arrived. First impression of the entrance and lobby was a disapointment. The hotel claims it has aircondition and they do in some rooms. When I kindly asked to be provided with a room with AC it was not possible as all of them were occupied. I asked for a fan but received a call later to my room that they could not even provide me with this. Really bad. I came with a car and had to park it 10 min away from the hotel. I have stayed one night earlier this week and managed to get a renovated room. It was on the other hand very good but my overall judgement will end with a 2-star. breakfast was average… Please make it clear that only some rooms has the quality you would expect jag from a 4-star hotel. I consider it false marketing.

Hotel rooms are nice. However the breakfast is a disaster. There’s a sign in room that calls you to save the planet by not using water and electricity so much, at the same time the breakfast is served like in “Mcdonalds”, everything wrapped in plastic and bagged afterwards. Three bags of plastic waste multiplied by the number of rooms multiplied by the number of guests multiplied 365 = ecological disaster. Reason for that — Covid19, what a surprise. Yet at the same time there is no desinfection need before entering the breakfast area, no masks or rubber gloves for servants — kind a double standards there?!?! Shame, people should start thinking with their own heads, otherwise if goverment would ask us to crawl we would actually crawl?

Poor hotel. Dated. Needs attention. Breakfast average but crowded. TV signal poor and no english channels. Cannot drink tap water so they ask you to buy the water from the fridges in the room or boil the water. Before we arrived, reception sent me a map of where to find hotel. After looking for an hour, it became obvious the map was wrong. Hapless!
So location of hotel is good but hotel and service offered is poor 2/5

Worst stay. Fire alarm went off at 4.15 am and 5.05 am. The whole building's only siren was placed in our room. According to the reception in the morning "maybe someone smoked somewhere in the building". No compensation offered. Will most likely never ever return to this hotel.

Loved. Comfortable number. The hotel is next to the old town. It's cool tonight. In cafes on the streets live music for all tastes. Tourists of all ages. Very positive energy. If you do not go to bed early and like to hang out you there!

Hotel in the heart of Old Riga, room without pretensions, but everything you need is. Spacious. Conveniently, all the attractions in the center are within walking distance and the price is quite humane.

A great hotel situated in the centre of the old town. Great location and the room I stayed in was a generous size. The breakfast was very good but the dining hall is small for the capacity so it can be to crowded for a seat. The staff are very professional and are a lot warmer than the average latvian in their welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Riga for a cultural city break. I can't wait to visit again.

The hotel is 3 star but put five for a very comfortable location, friendly staff and a view from the window to St. Peter's Basilica. The double room turned out to be a two-bedroom with a huge living room, a small kitchen and a nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet didn't let me down either.

Kind of a quirky place. When I arrived they told me they had given me an upgrade. It was a 2 bedroom apartment for one person! Very steep stairs next to bathroom. I was a little nervous that if I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom I could accidentally fall down the stairs. Uneven floors also presented big toe-stubbing risks. No possibility to close shutters to block out the morning light. Finally the breakfast was extremely crowded and not very good. Long lines for everything and they were out of orange juice for at least 20 minutes. Nice location though and not expensive.

I was in a budget room in the yard. Spartan but quiet… you have a key to the block and one to your room. TV was rubbish but nice bathroom. Could have been a self catering flat but wasn't as breakfast was in the main hotel. A decent armchair might have been nice but not essential. Good bed and good location.

Me and my mom stayed here and really loved the place. The placement could not be better. Very central in the old town! Good service, nice room but no AC. The breakfast was OK.

The hotel is located in several buildings of the historic city centre. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant and expected more refinement from the kitchen:) Fillet of fish in a panic, but with bones, powdered mashed potatoes complete with poorly trained waiters-trainees poorly combined with our expectations. I was pleased with the responsiveness and milk thistle of the older waiter, who as could have tried to smooth the situation. For the effort of 4 stars.

I liked it. 5 stars bet for very! Friendly staff. The room was clean and clean. Those same slippers are not free (be careful for those who do not like to pay for unexpected purchases). From the pros: The staff, as already wrote above, all in walking distance, the center of the city.

Old-fashioned Hotel, breakfast in little confusing, to renovate in the furniture and services. The TV is old-fashioned. Noises from the street even at night and early morning due to work on the new road floor.

Old Fashioned Hotel in the city centre. It was a very nice room. Bathroom 30s but clean. Very good price by booking online. Breakfast included 38 euro.

Для 3* отеля — очень хороший отель! Соотношение цена / качество 100%. Мебель немного старая. Очень хорошая ванная. На удивление (для 3* отеля) предоставляются тапочки и мини пренадлежности для ванной (гель для душа, шампунь, кондиционер, крем). В отеле предоставляется очень! хороший завтрак, поэтому смело бронируйте номер+завтрак. Еще хочется отметить месторасположение отеля: в самом центре Старого города Риги.
For a 3 * hotel — a very good hotel! The price / quality ratio is 100%. The furniture is a little old. Very nice bathroom. Surprisingly (for 3 * hotel), slippers and mini accessories for the bathroom (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, cream) are provided. Very good breakfast is served by the hotel, so feel free to book a room + breakfast. I also want to note the location of the hotel: in the heart of the Old Town of Riga.

The hotel is very good, the reception too, but the cleaning service is somewhat irregular. The cleaning varies very much from one day to the other. One of the days disappeared my bag transparent, mandatory for the checks at the airport… And no one took charge.

Nice breakfast. Clean room. The double bed were two single mattresses put together, what let a very uncomfortable split on the middle. Aside from that, overall fine.

Breakfast is not a push. There are no free tables, they are cleaned slowly. Plan to get breakfast quickly.
Great location, in the SAMRM Center, in the historical part of the city. Very close to the shopping center. Nice rooms, clean, everything you need.

Nice hotel in the old town of Riga. All the important places are within walking distance. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. There is also a superb pub Kwakinn next to the hotel.

Basic rooms but very clean and comfortable. Quiet friendly and Probably best location in town close to everything. Big plus is the Belgian beer cafe opposite one of the best bars I've ever been in with great food.

The hotel is located near the center which is very friendly since it is well animated!

Affordable hotel, great location but room a little basic.

Really central location, right in the centre of the old town, within 10 minutes walk of most attractions. All you can eat breakfast was a nice bonus too. Rooms were basic, yet spacious. Pretty good value for money so can't complain for what you pay! Would recommend if you are after a simple, yet convenient base during your trip to Riga!

The room wasn't ready when I arrived, so I had to wait. Unfortunately, the hotel was very noisy. You can hear both street and inside noises as if there is no wall in between. Room cleaning was done on an ambiguous frequency; in five days, I've put up the 'Please clean' sign three afternoons, yet found the room as I had left it when I returned. One day, they knocked on the door around 8:30 when I was still sleeping. While showering for the first time, I found the shower gel bottle to be empty. Ultimately, they made me pay too much at checkout. Unfortunately I was quite tired at that point, so I only found out back home when I checked the receipt. I sent the hotel an e-mail regarding possibilities to get a refund for the amount I paid too much. However, after a lengthy process of a few weeks and many e-mails, things had gotten so complicated that I decided to take the loss. Oh, the bed was allright…

Great location in the heart of the old town. It's close. Great breakfast. The main drawback: the apartments are not equipped with any of the necessary: there is an electric tile, but there is no kettle, microwave, cups, plates, cutlery. Motivated by the fact that supposedly only a month as opened, did not have time to buy everything. The kettle and mugs, by the way, were given only after we demanded it.

Located in the historic centre of the city, it's very convenient. If by car, then it is best to park in the origo shopping center (parking costs 12 euros per day). The hotel has only 3-4 parking spaces. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a small kitchen. Fast internet. Good choice for breakfast. There are a lot of great establishments nearby.

Location is superb — right in the middle of the old town. Breakfasts are also great. Only thing that I didn't like was missing soundproofing.

Of the cons — number 104 needs repair, little light, a problem with opening the front door, a view from the window to the next building. There is no parking at the hotel, on arrival we were sent to the parking lot to the railway station, 2 euros a night, but there were no seats. T. K. It's an old town somewhere to stand up for free — a whole quest, cars can be left overnight in municipal parking lots until 8:00. So they did, they overtook it in the morning.

Great hotel for its stars. In the heart of the historic building. Spacious rooms (we had a three-seater room in the second building), good Wi-Fi, in winter good heating, satellite TV, there are channels in Russian language, good soundproofing, refrigerator. A wonderful variety of breakfasts (buffet), delicious coffee. Of the unprincipled disadvantages can be noted insufficient lighting of the room, TV with a beam tube, lack of bedspread on the beds. However, overall very happy.

Room was large and clean, but that was it. I would avoid staying here entirely during winter. There is no heating in the room (or if it is, is non-existent). Shower water is lukewarm at best when turned to maximum heat and is cold otherwise (during winter! I reported this to the staff and they were nonchalant about it, telling me that the water is hot). Wi-Fi is non existent and slow (my room barely was able to receive signals). Breakfast is decent and changes everyday. The only redeeming thing about this place is that it is located in the middle of the Old Town, but the con of staying in the old town is that it is noisy at night. I'd recommend staying elsewhere instead unless the location really matters to you.

Very bad service. No tea kettle. I was promised coffee, but the youngster at the reception didn't offered a coffee. He sipped his coffee… Unfair and disgusting. Never will I return there.

The hotel is in a great location, in the old Town, and also has a parking for €15 a night which per Riga is a great price (unfortunately! ).
The rooms are very nice and clean.
Our room had a huge bed, pretty much three squares: fabulous and also very convenient. The furniture is dated and remedied, however decent, except for a broken sofa bed which was also dangerous for children
Breakfast is not liked and it is difficult to find a place already at 7am. 30: Little variety and quality was pretty low.
The staff is nice and helpful.
All in all a good solution to visit the city, but depends on the price you pay: Sometimes you check a fairly affordable price, others are prohibitively expensive.
The common bathrooms on the reception floor and the bar are dirty.

We were accommodated in a house and had to carry our suitcases on the third floor on our own and without a lift. Breakfast good, but it is for example So crowded that you can't find a table anymore and the snake at Buffett is very long. Beds were good and bathroom also OK. In the evening there was a long music in front of the door and even with closed windows it was hard to think of sleep. If you don't mind, you can live here quite well. Located in the middle of the old town, everything is easily accessible. In the evening the Frightener was closed to our hotel, so we had to go a bigger detour. That should have been explained to us, because without good Orentierungssinn, one problem first. Would have gotten.

Nice, original accommodation setup. This place is so convenient to the city center you don't need to take any kind of transportation to move around Riga. Rich, tasty international break and overall elegant look all over the building.
