Camping Vaivari Jūrmala Campground

HELLO, it is clear that this is not a 5 * hotel so IT IS CALLED CAMPING. Who by car is just a class of pine. Blueberry Forest. ECO Nature!

Simple camping. For those who like to simply relax the company or the family the best place. For those who just love to have fun there is already very boring. It used to be a lot more interesting, then it messed up.

Pre-trip to Jurmala was booked with a family of two campsites for 5 people, provided that the campsites were nearby. The administration said they could not offer us such an opportunity, the receptionist claimed that there was no reservation. Very unhappy with the customer service, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms is absolutely perfect (the room was dirty, there was a nasty smell, the mattresses at the beds were hard and dirty. Most likely they have not changed since the last family holiday that was in 2010). In the room was not cleaned the cleaning lady (on the day of arrival in the campsite gave the reception bed linen and on the day of departure to 12 o'clock had to do check out of the campsites, provided that the linens were taken with them and carried along with the keys to the reception). The water is very dirty, very much dries the skin and has an unpleasant taste and smell, in any case do not advise to use the tap water for cooking and especially in NO CASE DRINK THIS WATER. The rooms are quite cold at night, even with good, sunny weather in the evening it gets cold. As for the common kitchen, the kitchen is very dirty and almost impossible even boil water on the stove, as the cooker turns on and off from time to time.
As for the beach, the beach is very clean and most importantly the beach is close to the campsite.

Lake campsite is totally rundown. The original toilet facility is closed. Instead, a container was set up. Everything totally moldy and really disgusting. Showers even worse. You can stay there for a maximum of one night for an emergency.

Simplest unkempt sanitary facilities in containers, cottages in pitiful condition, electricity connection available, WLAN very weak and only usable in the center. Beautiful beach at 100-200 m distance.

Good sleep in the cabins, high quality bedding, great food in the café on site, you can eat first, too, the prices are pleased, and prepared from fresh, not from frozen products. The air is saturated with oxygen, it is a pity that the water park was demolished, so in general it would be possible to put 5 stars, two large hypermarkets in one and a half km, in Kauguri.

We did visit with caravan at this place. I really cannot recommend it. Dont trust pictures in internet, these are propably min. 20 years old. No cleaning, buildings really bad condition. People were drinking whole night. Not place for childrens.

Smell of piss and cigarette butts all over the grass. Worn down and dirty facilities and cabins. Toilets and kitchen are disgusting and smelly. Staff laughs at you when telling them about dirty bathrooms. Price is also higher than what the website say.

Probably very nice camp few years ago but a bit shabby right now.

Good location, next to ocean and beach. But very out dated, showers and toilets needs renovation badly.

Loudy and expencive, it's not what I expected. Playground is dangerous. Kichen devices are old and not working propertly. Place screeming for freching. Cottage is cold in summer. Good side are sea is close enougt and personal is friendly.

I'm no expert I don't care.
