Absolutely wonderful, we stayed four nights and had a lovely time. Right from the airport pick up to leaving.
The pool, bar and restaurant are great. Customer service fantastic and the staff are only to happy to arrange trips or make your stay as comfortable as possible.
We got on very well with Elodie the French Customer Relations Manager who is wonderful at her job and only too happy to help. All the staff go out of their way to make you welcome. We had an amazing stay here. We couldn’t praise it enough.

This is truly a unique and wonderful hotel. I recently stayed here for two nights / three days and was delighted from the moment of my arrival. I was warmly greeted by the staff and offered a welcome drink. Staff spoke excellent English and were eager to offer an overview of all of the services provided as well offer recommendations of great restaurants and attractions in the area. The staff helped arrange a tour for me to the nearby waterfalls as well as arranging other… transportation around the city. They exceeded my expectations. You enter the hotel from a very ordinary street but are immediately transported into a secret garden oasis. The room was comfortable and fully stocked with all of the ammenities I needed for my stay. The room even had porch with two comfortable chairs where you could relax, enjoy a book, and take in the spectacular views of the garden. I must say the real highlight of staying in this hotel was enjoying breakfast by the pond each morning. It is the perfect, peaceful location to enjoy a cup of coffee early in the morning. There are even ducks that swim in the pond that add to the charm. It really does feel like you are in another world. If you're looking for a place to relax in peace and tranquility, this is the hotel for you. It is a great place to base yourself to see all of the activities that Luang Prabang has to offer — I only regret that I didn't have more time to relax here. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Awesome property in a great part of town. Walk to the Night Market and the local restaurants. The staff is wonderful and attentive and the pool area is great after a long day. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel, great hospitality, nice rooms, very good swimming pool and good service.

Received excellent service upon checked in & up to checked out.   Warm smiles from every staff.   Especially Mr. Onphet who handled the reception. He speaks excellent English. We see him everyday when we collect bicycles keys, ask for direction & chit chat. We did not engage any tour guide & thru our conversation with several of the staffs from the manager to waiter during  breakfast we learned bits & pieces of Laos people & culture.   The place is quiet with lots of plants & trees for shade & keep the place cool. It's about 800m away to night market. They provided bicycles for free & it's a joy riding it to view alms ceremony, to town or morning market. Highly recommended! Best place to stay in Luang Prabang! We loved our beautiful, comfortable and charming room with a great balcony view to the pool! The team at Villa Maly was always helpful and friendly! Thank you so much for your kind attention during our stay and for the lovely Laos' "lucky charm" souvenir! Lushly landscaped hotel with restaurant. Cozy rooms. Could be a bit buggy, but otherwise it’s good for lunch and a quick stay. Best dessert ever!

Great, quiet, but still central location, a beautiful resort with great rooms and bathrooms, a sensational breakfast and a classy pool (not heated) with absolutely sufficient beds available. We were also provided with advice and assistance in the planning of our days in Luang Prabang (tip: Absolutely to the Mandalao-Elephant Reservoir! ). Not cheap, but you have all the luxuries here. And to eat around the corner in the Manda de Laos — First cream!

Villa maly is the kind of place that will come to your mind when you think of a nice cosy small hotel. But maly is also very classy and the best part is the welcome ceremony. Oh! I still can’t forget the taste of the welcome drink (awesome) and the lemon grass flavoured nuts (never in my wildest thoughts did I expect this combination to taste so good)! The rooms are simple but warm and very clean. The lemon grass follows you to the rooms and here is where maybe they should to…ne it down and housekeeping takes care of it if you tell them. The mornings are an experience one can not afford to miss. The alms ceremony as well as the sunrise point are so close and the that the Hotel lends make it easy for some morning activity. What follows at breakfast is amazing! The chef dishes out a beautiful spread of local and European cuisine for breakfast and he also ensures that guests who stay for 3-4 days get to taste different things on each of the days. Villa maly staff are very helpful and are always cheerful and extend all support possible. Ask them for help to book trips or local transport but negotiate and pay directly else the hotel has a policy to add their charges on top. Though not too high, it can be avoided. There is a massage parlour right next door and a laundry store right opposite villa maly. These are very affordable in case you don’t want to pay the premium at the hotel. Beer was extremely cheap even in the mini bar and so you don’t need to stock up to save money.

Absolutely lovely hotel, we cannot fault the staff who are very courteous and polite. The rooms are lovely, fresh fruit and water everyday in your room, and the food is brilliant. I firmly recommend this hotel to anyone and luang prabang would come back again in a heartbeat x.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful. Made the mistake of using the hotel restaurant first night we arrived as we were too tired to go out. Food was so-so and wine list very poor. We were the only couple there. Swimming pool area is generally quiet with good ambiance.

Love the place it is very relaxing. The room that we had during our stay was fantastic! So big and so comfy. Love the pool side aswell :) so perfect for relaxation and also the souvenir that they gave us is so nice. Plus the place is so close for everything which is you can actually go for walk or borrow the bike. I would love to stay there again on our next visit and would highly recommend it to all my friends.

Priced quite high for what they offer. Also it is removed from the center.

Lovely cosy hotel with comfortable rooms and amenities. Warm welcome with local refreshments. Buffet breakfast. Free bike rental. Wish I had more time to enjoy the hotel. Unfortunately, with a full itinerary, I only really managed to enjoy the bed, shower and breakfast.

A beautiful hotel in charming Luang Prabang. I stayed at this luxury Luang Prabang hotel and was entirely satisfied with services and the room.

Charming boutique hotel and very welcoming staff. We had a great stay in Luang Prabang at Villa Maly. After a day of sightseeing the swimming pool was very inviting.

Nice, exotic and clean hotel. Funny but rather annoying noises from water tubes in the walls.

Tiny room, no place to put luggage. Dark, crazy designed bathroom with no electrical outlet, no soap dish in shower (no bathtub), minuscule shelf for personal amenities. Room was fully visible from the outside, and cleaning staff left curtains open daily, allowing anyone to see your belongings. Meager, horrible breakfast, on a frigid outdoor terrace (in February), with no indoor option whatsoever. Entrance to rooms only by passing through bar area. Totally overpriced, lousy service, bad location (noise from houses close-by). To be avoided at all costs.
