First of all this isn't the easiest place to find, but that seems to be something that a lot of guest houses in Karakol could have addressed to them. I don't know if it's a local or Kyrg thing but more signs in the surrounding area will help people locate your business. There are/were also 2 Memo's on Maps. Me on adjacent blocks to confuse things further. The guest house is really clean and nicely decorate. Our room had 2 comfortable beds and a decent shower. We couldn't get the TV to work but that's not a big deal. There is a communal lounge and also a central area with a large table to hang out with other guests, plan your hiking etc. There isn't a great staff presence, so if you want something, want some information etc, you may have to go off in search of someone to help. English isn't spoken by all of the staff so you may need to be creative or learn some Russian. If you're a cat lover, there's also a lovely little ginger kitten there who loves attention.
