KbH-Karakol based Hostel Hostel

Amazing place, very neat, clean. The host is an amazingly sweet and helpful lady. Very Comfy beds, clean and Gd shower n toilets, airy and clean kitchen. All in all an absolutely perfect hostel. To top it all, I forgot my tripod at the hostel and travelled to Bishkek. The host was sweet enough to find it and then send it to Bishkek via a taxi. Utterly grateful to her.

It's a really nice place, new toilets and showers, everything is clean and tidy, quite place and the manager is helpful and speaks good English. Recommended!

This hostel is very clean, love it…!

Great value for very reasonable price A friend and me we spend two times a night at this place. It is newly renovated, clean and the woman running it is super friendly and helpful for any kind of preplanning further travels. We could store our luggage whilst hiking in the muntains for 2 days and she also speaks english very well. Thanks a lot and any time again!

There are plenty of reasons why you will love this hostel. The hostel is located in the centre of Karakol. It's cheap and clean. The hosts speak foreign languages. And the Park is near, if you want to take a walk in the evening. If you are a fan of mountain treks, the hostel is located next to companies such as Ecotrek!

Outstanding experience for a very reasonable rate (400 som/night). Facilities are brand-new and well maintained/scrupulously clean. Guests respect each other's peace and quiet. Location is pretty central and convenient. And the staff is excellent, helpful without being obtrusive and always happy to answer questions about the hostel and the area. Languages spoken fluently: Russian, English, and Kyrgyz. Thanks for a wonderful stay, KbH!

Hi everyone, who just read my review, I worked in this hostel couple month, and unfortunately my summer holidays begin to finish, firstly I want to say that the owner and family living there are very hospitable, friendly, this time I spent like a member of their family, we played with children, have lunch, do bicycle, have fun time with my boss (Saltanat) and of course her perfect husband, i'm very thankful for everything, to have such chance to communicate with people, to share with some information, find new friends, improve my language skills, to exchange with people about the culture and traditions, im very happy that I found such job in this hostel… THIS HOSTEL IS AMAZING, everyone who read my comment must visit it, VERY VERY clean, so unforgettable and impressive time you will have, every minute spending there is so warm, so cosy beds, kind owner, comfortable location, tasty breakfast, quickly internet, warm atmosphere, romantic garden, quite area, perfect modern conviniencies (that now not in each hostel), Saltanat can help you with order taxi, ranting equipment, find cheaper way to get somewhere… im very appreciate my time that I spent there…

This is a great hostel. Everything is clean, staff is very friendly and helpful and goes the extra mile to help you find your way around, book taxi's etc. I highly recommend staying here! And if you're there, make sure to challenge Aziza for a game of twister :)

We stayed there one week ago. Everything was very clean and well designed. We met the owner and her father, both extremely kind and helpful. They give a perfect atmosphere to the place, friendly and quiet after 10pm so you can sleep peacefully. I highly recommend.

If you need to stay in Karakol for whatever reason, this is the place. The staff is extremely kind and hospitable, (and can speak English too! ), the beds feel like diving into a clean fluffy marshmallow, and they have showers, restrooms, a common room, and kitchen, all for use. They also have optional breakfast if you want, for an added fee. (Which is great, by the way) When my planned day trip, turned into two, I had already decided on where to stay. With an affordable price, the amenities coupled with the cleanliness of the building and generousity of the staff, what you get is well worth the value for sure.

A great place to combine city life and nature travelers. All communications are available. Conditions are great in combination with the price. Convenient for individual and group travelers. Ancient architecture of the city and close of a beautiful mountain for all seasons comfortable. Unusual winter skiing nearby.

Beautifully decorated, modern place with lovely and very helpful owners. Rooms are very quiet. The place is also very cheap and central. The city center can easily be reached by foot or bus. Super helpful in booking and arranging for a room. The owner of the guesthouse also speaks German and English.
