Very good accommodation & breakfast.

Stay away from kahama, this is my horrible experience with the hotel! First don’t be fooled by the good ratings the hotel doesn’t look as lovely as on the photos on their webpages/booking pages, so due to their good ratings I decided to book the hotel because it’s in the town center and would be easy for us to move around town, so they require u to pay half of the price while booking and the other half while checking in, as required we did pay the full amount for 3 days, they have no lift so we carried our suitcases upstairs, but that’s not a problem for now, when we got to the room… it was terrible, the bedsheets/duvet was very stained (big yellow stain like pee stain) and not on one spot, and u imagine u want to sleep there with your kid.

Kahama is one of my top favorite hotels in Nairobi. As an African American of modest income there are some very important considerations. Kahama is clean, comfortable and secure. It offers many of the amenities that some of the more expensive hotels. The restaurant has a diverse ambience offering a casual or business setting. Bed and breakfast is offered and they have brewed coffee, my favourite. It also has a very well stocked bar if that's your taste. A very important consideration for me is that with all that it offers it allows me to extend my stay in Kenya because of its fair price. For me Kahama offers a unique and cost-effective accommodation.

Great staff but rooms were quite run down. Toilets not flushing all the way and it was a chore to get hot water — had to call the staff several times. Rooms on the highway side will be noisy so we asked for a room on the other side. The immediate neighborhood is not so great either — hawkers, beggars and other shady characters hanging around. The mattress was comfortable enough to get a good rest. Also, if it's your first time to Nairobi be warned that it gets cold! Temps were in the 50s (12c) while I was there in August. Hotel is definitely overpriced for the quality of the rooms but this seems to be a consistent theme with hotels in Africa. Staff were professional and friendly but they need to get the plumbing/shower situation worked out.

I enjoyed my night and breakfast. The hotel is quite for a good rest. The breakfast is organic as well and I liked the fruits.

It is very good hotel and staff. If you are looking for silent place to stay in that case this may not fit. This please is near local car/bus station so really live place. But hotel is good, comfortable and nice staff I must say.

Decent accommodation, rooms are quite small, located in a busier junction. Additional one star for the hotel management n the chef for allowing us inside the kitchen to prepare our food.

Warm Reception, warm shower, coffee, water, served instantly. No more comments a nice silent place to rest on waaaaaauu pillow and spring bed. This place is just good.

A great place closer to the city, incase of any official visit. Apart from the Busy traffic, the hospitality is awesome.

Accomodation is wow! but I would like to help people on this, the area around Kahama is insecure to move around at night, peoples are murdered there, their properties are stolen i. E phones laptops e. T. C if you love kahama hotel avail earlier, before darkness or else you will meet with cruel street boys over there,,,,,,,,, just an advice, if you ever find yourself in such situation please dont urgue with them giveout what you have to save your life,, bye.

Good value for money, nice rooms, a staff with little care, a buffet breakfast very provided. Only downside, the restaurant tested once and no favorite.

Acceptable place at an interesting price. Close enough to the center.

Very very disappointing food today at the Sports Bar goat arm and pork very poor arrived wrapped in cling film! Normally the food here is excellent I understand the food was cooked at the hotel and brought accross not a good move will have to consider whether to return.

Great hotel in the center of Nairobi. Friendly staff. Large parking, convenient signs to find the entrance to the hotel grounds. I recommend to take the rooms with breakfast as the breakfast is worth the money that is taken for it. The deluxe room has a kettle and a fridge. In the toilet room a set of shampoos. Of the Cons: a false control device for water heating, no toilet paper, air conditioning and lift.

Good place to stay for a few days on your work related visits to Nairobi.

Not so affordable. Great bedding and good breakfast. Loud Matatu and the road users. Not quiet at all. The bar has poor service delivery. Entry and exit to the place is a challenge. Very expensive for the quality offered!

A wonderful place, just a stone throw away from the CBD.

Good ambience and nice food, but the access entrance a bit concealed after the globe cinema round about overpass was built.

Room was comfortable, challenge was the power socket to charge as there was only one, it was either the TV (which couldn't play properly or charging) otherwise we had to go up and down between the reception and bar to charge the phones. Mbuzi ribs and masala chips (well — comment for another day)

In comparison to hotels in Kenya very nice place.

Serene place, quiet environment.

Great service and convenient location. Next to a busy road so quite loud, but still worth a stay. The breakfast selection is fantastic.
