Seo Hotel

Absolutely terrible experience. We were completely ignored for a long time after being seated, and when we finally asked for service, the waiter was shockingly rude and dismissive we were  told the chef had already left something no one bothered to inform us about and mind you we had called them before walking in so shitty. This place clearly has no regard for customers. The level of unprofessionalism, poor communication so disrespectful. It felt like our presence was an inconvenience rather than welcomed. We walked out and took our business elsewhere. From this experience I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

SEO Hotel is wonderful. Very good quality accommodation at affordable rates. The staff are super professional. The housekeeping is great. Overall great experience. Keep it up. Stayed over Easter and it was worth every dime.

A Bright Spot in Machakos with Amazing Chicken & Fish!
This hotel’s bright golden-yellow facade is impossible to miss and really sets a cheerful, inspiring tone. The location right in town is super convenient.
The Food: A mixed bag, but the highlights are unforgettable.
👍 Must-Try: The chicken and fish dishes are absolutely delicious—distinctly flavorful, tender, and will keep you coming back for more.
👎 Needs Work: The beef dishes could use some improvement in cooking.
The Vibe: The conference facilities are a major plus—spacious, well-lit, and with great aeration, making them very comfortable for events.
Verdict: A solid choice for the prime location and the yummy food, especially if you stick to the chicken 🍗 and fish 🐠

What I really liked about this hotel is how welcoming it is. As soon as I entered the gate, the staff guided me all the way to the reception without me even asking for directions. Even though it was my first time there, I immediately felt comfortable and like I belonged. That small gesture made the place feel very warm and organized.

The food takes too long and it's cold. But the waiters are nice. We also wanted a slice of cake for my birthday only to be told the pastry chef has left.

I had a surprise birthday for my daughter and we offered very good services. Thanks to SEO hotel. The hospitality team kudos.

My stay at SEO Hotel turned out to be more than just a overnight stop—it was genuinely a life-changing experience.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth that felt less like a hotel check-in and more like returning home. This was entirely thanks to the incredible hospitality of Emily Mwende and Susan Wavinya. These two ladies are absolute treasures to this hotel. They didn't just serve me; they anticipated my needs, checked on my comfort constantly, and did it all with genuine smiles. In a world where service can often feel robotic, Emily and Susan brought heart and humanity back into the experience. They made a stressful traveler feel seen and cared for.
The food was also excellent—fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully. It's clear the kitchen takes pride in their work.
If you are looking for accommodation in Machakos where the staff actually care about you as a person, book SEO Hotel. I walked in stressed and left feeling renewed. Highly recommended!

The was very welcoming, kind and humble, especially the guy at the reception and a waitress called Patience.
The food was amazing omg. I'll come back again and again.

Excellent service at Seo Hotel. The staff especially Miss Beryl was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.
Five stars for Seo Hotel!

It has that homely feel with great view of the Machakos valley. Good food too. Very accessible.
Limited parking but security provided if you park along the road.

SEO Hotel hosted our wedding reception in December and it was exceptional. The grounds are beautiful, the décor was stunning, and the food was a solid 10/10.
What truly stood out was the service. Susan was incredible from start to finish — warm, attentive, and truly a perfect host. When our MC and photographer were delayed, she stepped in effortlessly, playing music and arranging photos and videos to keep everything running smoothly. She truly went above and beyond.
Even with the rain, the day remained joyful and memorable. SEO Hotel exceeded our expectations and made our reception truly special. Highly recommended.

Seo Hotel offers a lovely, home-like experience thanks to its excellent customer service. From the seamless check-in to the attentive staff, every need is met effortlessly.
The rooms are exceptional: clean, quiet, and aesthetically pleasing with stunning views. They're spacious, feature a nice coffee station, and have excellent hot showers. The mosquito net was effective, though providing spray or plug-ins would be a welcome improvement.
The breakfast buffet has few options and was just okay, but the live egg station saves the meal. The main letdown was the coffee, which needs a serious upgrade in both quality and barista skill.
A fantastic place for a peaceful night's rest, with service that truly shines.

This is a beautiful hotel, it is clean and rooms are very well decorated. Quality linen on the beds. The head chef makes good and homely meals, the kind that give the home feeling. There is definitely more that local tourism needs to go, but there are beautiful trails for hiking here and amazing scenery. Worth everyday of the stay I had.

This is my third visit to Seo. Each day comes with more exciting experience. The staff are friendly, professional, and quick to support customers.
We were impressed with with key cards, controlling all residential corridors.
The ambience in the rooms, restaurants and gardens is at another level and true to the name SEO.
Keep it up!

I had a wonderful experience at SEO Hotel. The customer service is excellent right from the reception warm, welcoming, and professional. The food is of high quality, always fresh, and served on time. Cleanliness is maintained at top-notch standards throughout the hotel.
Special mention to Patience, who is a very attentive and polite waiter, and to Mary, who truly stands out with her genuine smile, excellent service, and kindness she made the experience even more enjoyable. The male waiters are also great and professional, ensuring guests are well taken care of.
Overall, SEO Hotel is a perfect blend of quality service, delicious food, and comfort. I highly recommend it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We recently visited this hotel with friends, and from the very beginning to the end of our stay, everything was simply exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the services were thoughtfully provided, and every detail made us feel right at home.
A very special thank you goes to the wonderful staff — Joseph, Mercelina, and Patience — who went above and beyond to make our experience truly memorable. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism stood out throughout our visit. They not only took care of our needs with such grace but also added a personal touch that made us feel valued and appreciated as guests.
It’s rare to find a place where the staff genuinely take pride in what they do, and we could see that clearly here. The way they treated us and our friends made our time together so enjoyable, and we left with such great memories.
We are deeply grateful for the sweet services, the warm smiles, and the effort put into ensuring that our stay was nothing short of wonderful. Thank you once again to the whole team — especially Joseph, Mercelina, and Patience. We look forward to returning soon and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.
All in all SEO Team made our stay the BEST.

I've had the delightful pleasure of staying at the SEO hotel for the past week. It has been a true Marvel. The staff are very welcoming and Customer-Oriented. The food portions are generous especially considering how great the food was. Overall, truly a world class experience. Bravo to the team.
