Lamu Hotels

It’s an amazing place to stay the price. I’m giving 5 stars but you should be aware there is not some of the things you might expect like air conditioning or hot shower.

The house is amazing. Can higly recommend. Good value for you money. Joshua is a wonderful host.

A most amazing and memorable experience — a personalized service at every step. The rooms have a lot of personality and the restaurant and bar are THE place to be in the island.

Peponi is a magical place. I did a lot of research before booking and a friend assured me this was the place to stay. She was right.

You won't get anything better in the whole town for the buck you pay here. Rooms are very reasonably priced, spacious and cool comparing to other rooms in Lamu.

Awesome… clean… spacious… very friendly staff! I highly recommend it. Two to three minutes to the sea front… has a chill spot up stairs.

We absolutely loved our stay at Makubwa House! It’s located in Lamu town, just 5’ boat drive from the beach. The Swahili interiors are to die for!

Makubwa House is a beautiful, impressive and modern Swahili home. I felt welcome the moment I walked in. The house has three levels, and more than enough comfortable beds.
