Days of night skiing need to be clarified further. On night ski days, the cable car from the Medeu station to Combi 2, where the hotel is located, will operate from 06:30 PM to 10:30 PM. This means that the ascent from Medeu stations must begin no later than 21:00, since the road from Medeu stations to the hotel takes 1 hour. The route on the cable car is as follows: Medeu, then Shymbulak, then Kombi 1 and the final station Kombi 2. Also, electric taxis cost ₸ 4000 one way between the Medeu and Shymbulak stations.
QR tickets for the cable car are sent to the guest on the day of arrival via a messenger app. Guests receive full information a day earlier also via a messenger app. Guests must contact the hotel in advance or provide contact information in advance.
The hotel is located at an altitude of 3200 m, guests are advised to carry a tablet against altitude sickness and aspirin just in case.
Guests are asked to plan arrival and departure times based on the cable car's operating hours.
Since the hotel is located in the highlands, the hotel administration recommends choosing clothes according to the weather conditions and taking into account the cooler air temperature at altitude.
Taking into account the high-altitude location of the hotel, baggage transportation includes a cable car ride and short walking trips. For maximum convenience, the hotel recommends traveling with light, carefully thought-out luggage.

Our stay at the Lodge was unfortunately very disappointing.
From the start, the experience felt off.
Luggage transfer to the lodge was not included in the room rate, which was surprising given the premium pricing. We were then informed that the price listed on the website no longer applied and that the cost had doubled per bag. No explanation was provided, only a simple question asking whether we wanted the service or not.
The room condition also did not reflect a resort of this level. There were tiles coming loose from the floor, a toilet panel falling off the wall, and paper cups provided for coffee and tea instead of proper glassware. Amenities were extremely minimal, with only a toothbrush provided.
For a property that positions itself as high-end, we expected far better maintenance, transparency, and overall attention to detail.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not return or recommend the lodge.
