We are thinking about the breakfast is buffet but set menu. Location is ok.
Staff rude and not helpful…

Decent location at a decent price. The rooms are a bit small but manageable especially if you are going to be out sightseening most of the time. The receptionist was really friendly and spoke very good english. The breakfast options are limited but sufficient.

Great place. Was good. The rooms lso included raincoats.

The first room was very comfortable and large the second one when I extended was veryy small for adult.

Only the location.
Extremely small room — barely enough space for one person to open one's luggage and even change. No lift to take the lugges to the floor where I was assigned the room.

This is an ok ok tiny no frills hotel in front of a mall and walking to several places. It’s neat and clean but the positives end there. No one speaks English here, which is a pain for tourists. Breakfast is basic but good. No lifts, you carry your own luggage to second floor. No room cleaning happened when I stayed for 3N. They don’t give water also. That is another pain. Toiletries are poor quality especially the dental ones. At this cost there are much better options available or even better you take apartments as there is no service this hotel provides. I am thankful they packed me sandwiches in early mornings the days I left for sightseeing. The 4.3/5 rating is misleading, keep expectations low.

I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay.
The location was also perfect, providing easy access to nearby attractions while offering a calm retreat after a day of exploring.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kazakhstan.

The place is very well located (totally recommend going to the spar just in front for groceries or food). The installations are all what you need, a comfy bed, a cozy but comfortable room, and a good bathroom. The breakfast is also very good, not so big, but very delicious. The hotel staff is also very kind and supportive.
I would say the only small thing is that the bed needs two pillows per person as they are small, but that's it. A solid place to return for that value.

We had a pleasant stay at silk way Hotel. Though there was a language barrier, they really made our stay worry free. They prepared a sandwich for us since our tours was very early and we could not take breakfast at their given time. They were even kind enough to follow up on us if we had tours the following day so they can prepare the sandwich.
The location of the Hotel is very Convenient as just across is a Euro Spar Supermarket, 8-10 min walk to Navat Restaursnt and relatively walking distance to places we are planning to visit. Hair dryer, water heater and tea is provided. Rooms are cleaned everyday.
Unfortunately, our room did not have a refrigerator and coming from a place where bidets are common, this hotel didnt have one.
All in all, we loved our stay with the friendly and concerned staff and arriving with clean rooms after our tours.

We were greeted wonderfully, checked in taking into account our wishes, the room was clean and comfortable, there was everything necessary for our stay.

Hello! Arrived on August 6, 2024. Initially, a double room with one large bed was booked, I went up to the room, and there were two separate beds, the administrator said now we will move the beds together! Totally negative! There is no refrigerator in the room, no air freshener! In general, a hostel, not a hotel! The shower cabin leaves much to be desired! Breakfast sucks! They prepare certain bullshit food every day! In general, 25, 000 tenge per day is just a scribe! Dear friends, you can’t even give a star for such money!

Nice location near the Panfilov Street. There is a Double Coffee beside the hotel if you get hungry late at night.
There is a lobby person assigned 24/7 and check in process is easy. You can also leave your bags if you checked out early.
The room is clean and comfy. This is also one of the more affordable properties in the city.
Included in the price is the free breakfast though we didn't enjoy the taste that much. I recommend enjoying the breakfast outside the mini restaurant.
I recommend this to any tourist hoping to explore the beautiful city of Almaty.

Big rooms, comfortable beds. Shower is broken, but not a big deal. It does not feel very welcoming though, as soon as you check in, they ask you to read a long list of rules to follow and how much penalty you will pay if you break it. The breakfast was also a big let-down, it is served in an attached coffee shop and you get this small plate of whatever they want to cook that day (eggs or hash brown or porridge) which seriously is just so sad.

Silk way hotel is a beautiful small hotel. Small rooms but comfortable. Locatiin is very nice but you can listen noise of traffic whole night because it's near to main road. Breakfast is okay nothing special no choice it's very limited.

The hotel gave itself three stars! Absolutely not worthy of three stars! You can compare it with European and Russian hotels, and even the three-star hotel in Aktobe was cleaner, newer, with delicious breakfasts and looked like a hotel, not a garbage dump. Friends, why doesn’t anyone mention that there is no elevator or ramp! This is a hotel! People arrive with luggage and have to carry their suitcases up the stairs! And there is no staff to help! A shame!
The staff has sour faces and is not at all interested in helping guests! They sit at the reception desk for show. The level of roadside motels for truckers, and not a three-star hotel.
Just for fun, look at what three-star hotels look like. For example, ibis in Aktobe or Grani in St. Petersburg and thousands of other hotels in your country and around the world.
If I could rate it less than one, I would do it. And the location does not at all compensate for the lousy service.
