Perfect stay! The onsen was beautifully maintained, offering a relaxing experience. Staff were warm and attentive, the room was spotless and cozy, dinner and breakfast was very good. When we arrived, the blooming sakura added beautiful scenary to the hotel atmosphere.
Wonderful Service, Food and Onsen experience! The staff was really attentive, there were also lot of amenties. The Onsen is just wonderful, very clean and not too crowded. I also really liked the Sauna. The landscape is really beautiful, just a little far on top of the mountain so it is hard to walk down to the village. The Garden is small but nice for photos.

I stayed for 4 nights (19/04–23/04). It was my first ryokan experience, and I had a wonderful stay.
The front staff provided a smooth check-in and clearly introduced the facilities and amenities while guiding us to our room. Despite the language barrier, they made a real effort to communicate, which I really appreciated.
The staff were friendly and thoughtful. They even translated our course menu for us. Dinner was great and high quality.
I booked the Tsubaki room for a family trip, and it was very spacious. It had two beds, a living room area, one bathroom, three separate toilets, and a dressing room. The glass doors overlooking the mountain and the garden view were beautiful. I also requested two extra futons since there were four of us, and they were very comfortable.
Unfortunately, the women open-air bath was under construction during my stay due to storm damage, so I didn’t get to experience it. However, the hotel handled the situation very professionally and was understanding in how they addressed it, which I really appreciated. The indoor onsen still offered a great experience, and the sauna was excellent.
The staff were also very attentive. They called to check if we would still have breakfast when we were late and even confirmed the last call for the shuttle bus instead of just leaving without us.
