Hotels in Sendai with a Pool

We took the shuttle at Sendai station (ground door) to the resort. The scenery on the way was just tranquil like in a movie about spending a summer in the rural countryside.

We loved every minute of our stay at Saryo Souen! The service, the food, the vibe, everything was amazing.

Finally made it back here after sixteen years. The price has doubled, but the food is much better. The hot springs are beautiful. Hopefully, I can make it back again.

Rustic ryokan in Sakunami onsen area. Great food and nice baths. Foods are buffets for both dinner and breakfast.

So first off I want to quell some of the people who say these rooms are dated, I've seen places that did not keep up and that is not what this place is. From what I can tell this hotel is actually

Very kind people there, they upgraded us. Big rooms, great breakfast (get the natto! ), great views, and, the bodhisattva next to it is so breathtaking. Go there as well.

I visited here in 2019 and met the owner (s) during my time there. I came back in 2023 and it is still amazing.
Wonderful onsen experience, great atmosphere and so relaxing!

I had wanted to stay at a ryokan in Sakunami for a long time, and I chose Yunohara because it looked very relaxing, scenic, and quiet in the photos.
