Low cost hotel so please taper your expectations accordingly. The taps were leaking and there are not much facilities available. However the location is quite near to Shinjuku and shopping area.

From Shinjuku station is really very close, the overall industrial design of the hotel, style is very good, but do not appreciate the beauty of the industrial wind afraid of the old, rooms and toilets are very small, suitcases can not be all open on the floor of the room, if only a short stay for one night can be referred.

Small rooms for European standards… But so steampunk that you can't ADORE it!

Very close to Shinjuku station (5 minutes away), friendly staff, small room but perfect equipment, there is a mini kitchen can cook. To the location and accommodation equipment, the price is very good value, like the old things do not miss, but more skin allergy to pay attention to the great location and nice place, cute, vintage style. The stuff lady is very warmhearted and friendly.

Very good value for money My room was very pretty and with a place "invented" for everything or almost. A real desk for my PC. Very close to the train station. Otherwise ask, always ask. You'il find help.

Excellent location, simple and comfortable.

Relatively inexpensive for the area, but very basic hotel. The idea is to make it seem like an apartment rather than a hotel with rudimentary cooking equipment available. However given you are in Shinjuku you are pretty unlikely to watch to cook something rather than just go and buy food. Rooms are small and do have a Japanese apartment feel to them (which unfortunately means thin walls and single glazing — although the a/c unit which doubles as a heater is effective enough). Staff are friendly and speak good English. One note of warning, there is no lift and while it would have been amusing to watch the small Japanese girl behind the counter that offered to carry my bag up the stairs try, it would probably have taken a while, and possibly breached the Geneva convention prohibiting torture… Bathroom facilities very small with unimpressive water pressure and twitch sensitive heat controls — probably the worst ensuite bathroom I've had in Japan.

Very late flight to the arrival, but write to the owner in advance can get the magic way to stay, bed good sleep, cold 24 hours of heating around 711 with the whole family, from Shinjuku station is not willing, about three minutes of foot.

It is a place super cozy. The rooms are not very big but the design of them is beautiful. Those who work there are super correct and friendly. Excellent location! Mega mega recommended!

Rooms with a very neat and clean vintage style. Not huge, but in line with the size of the rooms in Japan. Really friendly and English speaking staff. Great value for money also for the proximity to the metro station.

A little strange "prison" room.

Apartment with retro style, very well located. The rooms are more spacious than hotels with similar prices. There's No room service, clean towels will be left at the door of the room. Highly recommended.

THE HOTEL OF HORRORS with Johnny Deep at the reception. (It is surprising to see very high scores on Booking yen Google)

-Very dirty: savannah worn with stains and hairs. Carpet dirty, curtain in bathroom moldy, walls with stains, mosquitoes squashed on the wall, air conditioning very dirty, etc etc etc — Other defects: Areas of floor without carpeting or remnants of an old one. The light was a bulb hanging from a cable. There was No hanger or wardrobe, if coat hangers in the door where hung a hairdryer. — Art is not the same as dirt: the Entire hotel is full of old furniture and cluttered. Anything comfortable, no where to sit in what could be a reception. When you enter it seems that these in a repair shop. — Service: When you arrive within the hours of checking there was nobody else that a poster saying to call you. In 2 days we saw that this note was the custom. There was nobody in the reception area! — Avoid completely! : in 23 days of travel in Japan, all fantastic hotels, but this.

Special. Either you like it or you don't. Me, I can't decide haha tats why 3 stars. Love: Locations! Value for money! With ensuite bathroom No love: Dusty, but the sheets are clean. No lift The room is very small. Definately skip this place if you have a lot of big luggages.

The hotel area is not very large, but facilities is still relatively complete, the service is incredible, prices reasonable, the health is also also the go.
