Travelling with my family (2 adults, 2 kids), we got two corner double rooms in the annex. One was much nicer than the other — so I’m basing this review on the nicer room. The rooms are a good size, clean and modern. I don’t know why Japanese hotels seem to have two lighting modes: interrogation room or pitch dark. This hotel follows suit. There is a pool table which show the marks of a thousand amateur tourists. It’s free though, so no complaints. There is also a free drinks station which was a bit of a magnet for the kids. The real win for this hotel is the location. The moment you step out the door you are practically on Dotonbori. We would stay here again for sure.

I travelled with my family in group of 10, we all love this hotel! Rooms are huge for Japanese Hotel. The boss is very generous and many thanks to his excellent hospitality :). He even drove us to Shinosaka station for shinkinsan railway, really appreciated. Hotel Lobby has 2 nice guest/commual area, which are well designed as my family can chit chat together and enjoy the hotel's free soft drinks, tea, coffee and even sweetcorn soup from drink machines. Oh, they have free massage chairs too, we well used them after happy shopping and sightseeing. My granny did massage evey day. I definitely will come back to this hotel. The location is excellent too, only 5mins walks to Shinsaibashi shopping area amd Namba station (exit 25). :)

Service was excellent in this Hotel. Even though there is no breakfast in this hotel they provide complimentary drinks in the lobby all day. Rooms are huge compared to the hotels we stayed at in Kyoto and Tokyo. Would come back to this hotel for sure!

Travelled with my family to this hotel. It was the most spacious room I've stayed in for Japan and the BED is so COMFORTABLE. We also loved the location as it is so close to everywhere! Service was great and the free flow beverage was an addition.

Great location near subway entrance, Spacious room, separate shower and toilet, big comfort bed, free handy phone with internet. Also have free unlimited coffee and soft drinks at lobby. The staffs are very friendly and service minded. While we're waiting for the rain to stop to go to train station, they come to offer a free lift to the station without having to ask for. We'll come to stay at this hotel again next time.

Big room, clean room, good location, very close to dotonburi, just walk about 4 minutes. Have free flow drinking bar at lobby.

Convenient location as Namba station is nearby. Dotonbori is less than 5 mins walk away. Front desk staff are all polite and able to speak in multiple languages. Room is neat and spacious.

This hotel is located in a very shady part of town. Almost all of the hotels next to this area have hourly rates, meaning they are hotels for hookups (young ladies coming out with men 20-30 years older than them). I advise to stay away from this area. The hotel is not too bad, but I think the atmosphere really killed it for me.

Miss Yang is Taiwanese, the service is cordial, to the free line of our help is very big, can give our friends in Taiwan for reference. The hotel room is very new, although we live on the 3 floor but the noise is also very good, from Namba station less than 5 minutes, the station entrance (26-d) There are supermarkets, very convenient.

Although not a good breakfast is a pity, but the hotel service staff is really very thoughtful, very good attitude! The room is not unexpected, the lobby has a drink bar can be unlimited access, the overall decoration style is very young.

Great location, easy to access kuromon market, dotonbori, and Amerikamura areas. Well decorated and spacious rooms with MASSAGE CHAIRS in the lobby. Free drinks for guests, too! One downside is that the hotel is surrounded by "adult only" hotels so probably not the best hotel to stay in if you have multiple young curious children. But would definitely stay here again. It's good that Hotel 88 is taking the initiative to transform the area.

Very good, this hotel is very bad waves have such a hotel than expected a lot more focus on the charger is really no need to take.

The rooms at the hotel are very large. The décor is also very stylish, close to Shinsaibashi and Namba station, this stay is very satisfying.

Great rates, amazing location (walkable from pretty much all the popular tourist areas and nightlife) and the staff was very friendly!

Sleek design & spacious rooms. Only downside is there is no natural light in rooms due to blocked windows-make sure to set an alarm! Free flow coffee, soda & juices were a nice touch. Staff understood/spoke English very well and was very helpful.

The counter kind price is reasonable, the boss person is very good-looking our a size under the rain to pull the baggage to the world nearby hotel unexpectedly has no material to carry us to go, the whole big move ~

Great hotel for the price. Rooms are spacious for Japan standards. Laundromat downstairs is convenient, as are the free drinks throughout the day and massage chairs. Osaka wasn't my favourite city in Japan but the hotel helped make the stay an enjoyable one.

Eco mindful boutique hotel. Has coin op laundry. Spacious bathroom. Complimentary drink lounge. Staff friendly Chinese and English ok. Hotel room clean. Close to JR Namba and Doutonburi.

The rooms, beds and bathrooms are all larger than the average Japanese hotel, the air conditioning is adequate and the water pressure is sufficient. The hotel lobby also offers free beverages.

Conveniently located in Dotonbori in the heart of the action. Plenty of places to eat and shop. Large lounge area with lots of seating. Cool modern design and furniture with lots of color and modern art. Rooms are large with a modern minimalistic feel to them. Great boutique hotel with complimentary soft drinks, juice, coffee, and tea. Free fast and reliable Wi-Fi!

The staff at this hotel are fantastic. My friend lost her passport and they worked quickly to help file a police report and even sent a staff member to the last seen location. They are incredibly kind and sweet and helped to make a stressful situation less so. The room itself is larger than our last hotel in Kyoto. Facilities are very clean and beds are really comfy. The location is a great plus. Right near Dotonburi with a lot of delicious food and great shopping.

New and Clean. Walking distance to Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, Namba. Central locations of Osaka.
