Great hotel, at a great location. Very large lobby but can get busy on weekends. Rooms are comfortable and standard size. Has a mall just outside with a subway attached.

The location is superb. It overlooks the ocean and right next to it is an amusement park for the little ones to have loads of fun at. Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by a very inviting and clean lobby where we were quickly given our room keys. The rooms were just as nice, spacious and cool temperatures already set for relaxing due to the extreme heat from outside. My most favorite part was their selection of soaps/shampoos/conditioner. Very Good. Would recommend most people traveling around Yokohama!

Outstanding Service! We stayed at Intercontinental Yokohama Grand for a total of 6 nights and we enjoyed every minute of it. It is only 5 minutes away from the train station. We also enjoyed the city view from our room during our first 5 nights of stay. We came back a few days later and stayed for another night — this time with a bay view. We enjoyed the views as we relaxed in our rooms. Intercontinental Yokohama Grand provides outstanding service in all respects, from front desk staff, bell captain desk, guest relations, and concierge. We also want to thank the staff at Ocean Terrace (buffet dining) who provided excellent food and outstanding service. The food was delicious. And last but not the least, the housekeeping staff who made sure our room was cleaned everyday. They truly made our stay very comfortable. We are looking forward to our next visit and would love to stay at Intercontinental Yokohama Grand again.

If you have the money or if it's sponsored, why not :). Service is top notch. Location is perfect. Not the closest to business districts but it's like 500m to 1km away from the centre and it's near the Brick house, Porters World and The Cup Noodle musuem. View is beautiful from the room.

Best hotel we have stayed at in Japan. Great sized room, pillows galore, comfortable bed, buffet breakfast and very good quality. Friendly and efficient staff all round. The only hotel I will reside in the future when back to Japan.

Magnificent high hall; double room on the 27th floor; authentic yuwan and food; two nights' temporary accommodation for cherry blossoms in 2018.!

Grand, stylish and elegant hotel in a unique shell like structure. Good service with very polite staff. However, if you are an IHG member, you will be disappointed with the freebies. Just one drink voucher for only yourself (not even for the family) and no free breakfast, nor access to the lounge.

Spectacular… with wonderful views…

I enjoyed my stay very much. There was a minor misunderstanding at check-in process but has been resolved. All the staff are very professional and top notch! I want to say Domo Arigato gozaimasu to Ms. Mila Tsuzuki for her time in regards to my check-in experience. I will definitely return to the Intercontinental Yokohama Grand when I visit Japan.

The location is close enough to minatomirai station and directly linked so it is easily accessible. We had dinner at the ocean terrace buffet. The food was very good and great quality. Definitely recommend it. Especially the steak which they will cook for you on the spot. I will be going there again soon.

A brilliant place to be in. Next to the sea. Beautiful views of the landscape around. A permanent fair and rides place is just a minute walk. Clearly therefore very good for family vacations. Also real station are near. A small is directly connected from the first floor. Good caring staff. Only one food joint inside. S lot of art conventions happen there so good for art lovers.

I stayed at the Intercontinental for a month. The staff was helpful and very professional. The room service was exceptionally tasty though a bit expensive. My room had a lovely view. Overall, I would happily stay here again. Come visit the Orange Wedge of Yokohama!

The lobby is beautiful. The service is exceptional! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Has everything you would expect. The view from the rooms is awesome! As a regular guest you have access to the gym as well and it is equipped with free weights and cable weights/machines.

Extraordinary, once in a lifetime experience. You will be amazed to see how every single staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. First time in Japan, but not first time in Intercontinental This stay was superb and care, attention, respect, and hospitality was indeed fantastic. Thank you.

This is not a 5 star hotel. Yes the prices are…. Our rate went up from $250 a night to $700. The view of the light show from the Ferris Wheel is spectacular but not the hotel. No bathrobes just blue dust jackets. Bed very hard and doona very thin. Used the spare blanket and it smelled mouldy. Scuff marks on doors and dirty finger marks on door bells outside room doors. Gosh! its not hard to clean these things. We travel all over the world and this hotel is not up to standard. Thumping noise coming from upstairs maybe people walking. Bathrooms are very dated and not of Marriott standard. We are going to cut our holiday short here and go back to the stunning Marriott in Nagoya for $240 a night.

Great service from the hotel. Arrived late and needed to check-in early. Staff were attentive and helpful throughout and room great.

My booking was a standard seaview room. I was given a room on 17/F which is above my expectation. Room is large fully equipped with frige, kettle and slippers. The desk comes with 2 international power sockets which is handy for charging phones and computers. Buffet breakfast is excellent with choices of Western, Japanese seafood, vegies and Chinese porridge.

Lovely hotel, though expensive you get what you pay for. The staff are amazing and will go out of their way for you, the facilities are good and the whole place is spotless and shining. The rooms are the same, flawless and come with great views. The only downside is the bathrooms are slightly dated in design but are perfectly functional. The food avaliable in the hotel is reasonably priced and just as amazing as the rest of the place which is surprising for the money. The location is also good, with a shortish journey into tokyo and lots to do in the surrounding area. Overall a definite place to stop if you feel you want to treat yourself and be pampered for a few days on your trip, just be wary that certain aspects such as the pool or washing will cost extra.

Amazing room, great service, fantastic breakfast. I have been there during a business trip, therefore company paid everything, but I must say that it is quite expensive.

We had a city side room for 3 people. The room was quite large with nice interior. City view is awesome at night. This hotel is perfectly organized. The staff is very helpful and kind. English is no problem. Every special wish was considered, no information lost anywhere. Also the breakfast is great, anything which is almost finished is replaced in time. No long waiting times anywhere. Also the location is perfect. Clear recommendation from me, top hotel, the guest is king here!

Credit Hotel service at the level the location is great. The view from the window is five plus. One minus not all staff knows aglicku speech-) Since we also do not philologists that do not care. —) ) )

Check-in: Early check-in is possible only for a fee, but luggage is kept free and after check-in to your room.
Rooms: Huge for a standard room, including European conditions. (Still), our room had a bathtub.
Free amenities in the form of razor, nail care, toothbrush, Kettle with tea/coffee, fridge, free Wi-Fi in the room.
Breakfast, Spa, restaurants, shops… are available from us but not used.
Air conditioning was good and fairly quiet, curtains have darkened the room well.
For travelers in the July/August 2016: The hotel is being renovated at the time. Work be carried out but only from approx. 9 h and were not heard in our room. It was exhausting, that were not all elevators for the renovations at the disposal.

A superb hotel in a unique location in Minato Mirai. Queens Mall with good restaurants are just next door. Yokohama station is within walking range. W.

It's a cosy place, however it's interior is wore out due to years of service. Time for some refurbish work.

Excellent hotel with some of the best modern western — style rooms in the area. The rooms are clean, full of amenities, and much larger than is typical for much of Japan.

It was a terrible hotel… The hotel man makes us wait only to check in, the reservation was supposed us to spend 2 days even we reserved to 3 days. Therefore the card key system was stoped, which we noticed after going out. My father called a hotel man, and it took time only to wait for it. They made me angry. NEVER AGAIN SUCH A SH●T! I don't want to say that. But it was by far the terrible in my experience of ever hotel… Sorry for the long comment. P. S. Someone says " What a great hotel, it is! The service was the best! " There are others which are better than that.

Been there over 10 times and they never fair to disappoint. Excellent staff, rooms are very well maintained and clean. Location is very near to malls and train stations.

One of the most beautiful hotels in the world, the service is truly an InterContinental experience, if you are here definitely have to stay otherwise you can't say you've been in Yokohama.

I always reserve a 5 Star Review until I've stayed a minimum of 3 times. They've earned it. Service and comfort level is exceptional, every request is met immediately. You want your shoes shined at midnight, fine, we can bring them back in 30m (don't want to wake you) or tell us what time in the morning.

Big rooms, great service and nice views…

Beautiful well-maintained hotel right on the harbor. Rooms are nice, but I would not say luxurious. Restaurants were good, but not quite fabulous. The location is wonderful and the views of the harbor can't be beat. The answer: stay there and go to Chinatown for fabulous food!

Great location in Yokohama and close to Tokyo. Friendly and attentive staff. Great views of the bay, however, the hotel fusnishings and room decor show their age.
