LESTEL NAHA

This is a great place to stay right in the shopping district of Naha. Super convenient location. I expected this place to be busy or noisy but all the guests are very quiet and respectful. That might be Japanese culture. In any event, the place is well decorated and clean. Plus it is very affordable. Highly recommended if you are traveling on a budget.

After walking around, I came across Lestel Naha and had to stop for a coffee fix. The café has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the staff seemed friendly and also spoke English. The café was child friendly with a few toys to keep my little one busy. I ordered an iced soy latte with honey to sit in and it was well made and tasted lovely — definitely worth a visit!

Lestel Naha is easily one of the best hostels I've stayed in and one of the best places I've stayed in period.
I stayed in the male dormitory two separate occasions, one time for a week and the other time for one night.
Neither time disappointed me whatsoever.
A simply flawless combination of everything that makes a hostel great.
The whole hostel is absolutely spotlessly clean, from top to bottom so to speak, I'd go as far to say cleaner than properties 10 times the price.
All the utilities of the shared bathrooms work perfectly and to top it all off, the bathrooms are very stylish, they even have circular mirrors with circular LED'S built in which stand above each basin.
They give you access to a locker in which has plenty of space for valuables.
However for me the best part of the hostel by a long way, is the bed.
Wow oh wow, the beds at Lestel Naha are ridiculously comfy, definitely the best hostel bed I've ever slept on and one of the best I've slept on in a long long time.
Wherever they buy their mattresses, I am very eager to know.
It's not just a hostel however, they run a excellent cafe alongside which I only dined in once unfortunately.
Probably my only criticism is considering it is a fairly sizeable hostel the kitchen facilities could and should be a bit bigger.
While prices can fluctuate during the summer season, I'm still astonished at how great quality the hostel is and how to stay in the dormitory per night it's only around 2000 yen. Remarkable.

Stayed in Lestel for 2 weeks. I am super pleased with the hostel. Rooms and facilities are clean. Wifi is good for remote work. Their breakfast is one of the best that I ever had. Absolutely recommended!

Such a nice hostel! very central, very lovely staff, awfully delicious coffee (they have a light and a dark roast, from porré porré coffee roaster in okinawa city♥️), the bed in the dorm was very comfy, I slept like a baby, and free towels. The café/small restaurant annex is lovely and has a small terrace, and there I met the funniest local people. What is not to love here? thank you lestel. Oh yeah, there is free yoga on saturday, and one can use the rooftop terrace for your own yoga practice; there is a wide fake grass mat where you can practice, so you can do yoga there if you don’t carry a yoga mat.

Very clean and low-priced hostel. Location is great, at the heart of Naha! People are nice but not very good at speaking English. Wish there're events for hostel guest gathering.
Room: Dormitory is big and has enough space for suitcase. The bed is clean and comfortable. The pillow is a bit soft. 14 beds maybe too many.
Food:
The breakfast is great. $700 yen for hostel resident.
Drink:
$1000 yen 3 drinks during the happy hour (1600-2100).
Laundry: Coin-operating washing machine. Bring your own detergent. No place for hanging the clothes to dry.
Update 18/2:
I stayed at Lestel again. But, this time, the network was pretty bad. Online meeting was choppy. Slow or lost internet in peak hour.

This is a beautiful cafe in the shopping streets. Modern decor and delicious sandwiches.
I had the pulled pork sandwich drink set. The sandwich was divine 😋. Best I’ve had in Japan. The coffee was good quality too.
