Cheap Hotels in Nagasaki near Sofukuji Temple

We stayed at H2 in Nagasaki for 4 nights in December 2025 in a Smart Double Room. The room was knowingly small as we only booked a Smart Double Room.

It is such a wonderful hotel. Perfect location. Nagasaki-Unzen express bus stop is only 50m away and there are multiple bus stations within 100m. You can go anywhere by local transportation.

The front desk of the hotel was very enthusiasm and friendly. They introduced the check-in process very clearly.

I am Korean but I will write in English to let other foreigners know of this nice hotel. This is my last day out of 4 days of visit.

1) Male front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
2) Great service.
3) Breakfast item was less but delicious. In addition, foreign staff were friendly too.

Second time for me in Nagasaki, first time at Forza hotel. It's located close to Chinatown, inside the covered shopping district. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby for every meal.

Amazing hotel and great value.
We booked this hotel for two rooms for one night. We arrived a little early for check in but the staff allowed us to store our luggage until it was time.

Very professional and prompt check-in, great location for travel and sightseeing. Room is immaculately clean, big bath and face care amenities.

JR Kyushu Hotel Nagasaki is an excellent choice for staying in Nagasaki. The hotel is very conveniently located, directly connected to Nagasaki Station, making travel easy and stress-free.

The hotel is very close to Nagasaki Station and has many restaurants nearby. However, it's best to go early, as they fill up quickly in the evening.
The breakfast served is quite good.

In front of JR Nagasaki Station and street car. Quick access to Peace Park and Nagasaki Chinatown. The room had lots of space which wasn't necessary if you are just using it for sleeping only.

Nice hotel! The big plus is its location very close to Nagasaki station.
The room was comparatively large by Japanese standards.

Possibly the best value hotel in Nagasaki. Although the room wasn't big, it had everything neccessary, a big comfortable bed, shower/tub, decent Wi-Fi, fridge, table, TV etc.

Convenience of transportation. It is close to Chinatown and you can walk to Glover Garden.

The hotel is exceptionally well located, right next to the Chinatown area, making it very convenient for dining and sightseeing. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Great location. The rooms a bit small but cosy. Great to have a personal toilet and shower. Nice chill out area on the 3rd floor (inside) and on the 5th floor (outside). Will stay here again! 👍

Super clean, friendly staff, and loved the location. Location is close to izayakas that are open until late. Also near a 7/11.

The staff was very friendly.
1. Rooms, public spaces and environment are clean.
2. This is a public shower type hostel, so there's no individual shower cabin.

Hotel was well located to visit by walk most locations, right next to the tram and a shopping mall. Room it's as a standard Japanese semi double. Staff was very attentive.

No-nonsense, clean and in a fairly good location close to the shinkansen station. They do not clean every day anymore but they do provide clean towels and water every day.

A little up hill across Nagasaki station, close to 26 Martyrs monument and museum, restaurants and main road of streetcar and buses. Super quiet neighborhood. Bicycle rental available.

I rented an ebike to explore Nagasaki. Very friendly staff, decent bikes. I went all the way down to the Kaba Island Lighthouse and return and the battery were still at 30%.

Be sure to contact the landlord in advance, otherwise it will be very troublesome to go up the mountain.

A very friendly and charming Japanese Style Inn in central Nagasaki, 2min fom tram and 10min walk from JR Station.
