We loved the stay, very 🏠 with authentic Japanese sense, it's a great experience. Besides, very convenient too, with kitchen, laundry and board games available, wonderful for family trip.
Great experience. Strategic location, near the station and various restaurants. Excellent service. Very cozy common room. They let you stay longer until 12 p. M. You can lent a bicycle as well. I will stay here again if I come back to this area.

I enjoyed a very comfortable 4 night stay at Saikaan Kanade Guesthouse. The guesthouse is on a quiet street, but within easy reach of everything. There are also bicycles which you can use free of charge to explore the town, go to the supermarket etc.
The guesthouse is a lovely old building with a little courtyard garden at the back. The dormitory beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped (apart from no butter knives! ).
You can reach Amanohashidate in less than an hour by train for a day trip, and it was also the perfect stay for me after my ferry journey down from Otaru, Hokkaido to Maizuru.
I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area!
