A small but pleasant hotel in Myoko nearby Arai railway station. A few bijoux eateries nearby and a convenience store next door selling all the essentials. Hotel has a restaurant and offers breakfast. Hotel seemed to be popular with local business people and some tourists who were, no doubt, using it as a base for the nearby ski resorts. Hotel has free Wi-Fi, but signal an issue in some of the rooms (mine included). Would recommend if you need a hotel in the area.
Pleasent hotel for a stopover night on your way to other destinations. No tour group tourists may be found. A big supermarket is a less than 1km away.

The hotel allowed us to check in early as it was raining quite heavily and we were soaked. The staff were very friendly (although they didn't have amazing English skills, but we're good enough to get us to our rooms) and the room was comfy and had a nice sized tub. Would stay there again.
