Reasonably comfortable rooms and facilities, quiet area with good access to surrounding areas via public transport nearby.
Very clean and Budget ryokan in kyoto, a Little bit small but confortable. Bathroom and showeroom really clean and big enough. Hoever, they had a really ugly detail with me when after spending several nights there, they didn´t rent me a bicycle even leaving there all my stuffs there after checking-out. What did you think I was going to do with the bike meanwhile all my stuffs are at the hotel, c’mon? Check-in after 21pm is not possible.

This is a nice, clean and reasonably priced Ryokan. I did however, find the mats a bit on the thin side, so not the most comfortable sleep I’ve had. Stayed on a Saturday and Sunday… the Saturday night was quite noisy with the guests next door, slamming the sliding doors after 12am. It drove me mad. Perhaps some cushioning on the wooden sliding doors would help? Sunday was very quiet.
