Came here for my honeymoon. The view was spectacular from our room. The overall experience is just 5 star with English speaking staff that is so helpful and patient in explaining everything to us. I was so impressed with their fine dining as this is my first time. Was so blown away by the food. Definitely a must to stay here next time given there’s a pick up service from the station.

Receptionist was graceful and using sample English. The female hot spring could see a half side of Mt. Fuji. Room is clean but a little aged. Kaiseki Breakfast is good, however they use canned fruit and instant coffee, and the server was cold, always went to help other tables and ignored us. The front desk help to drive us to the station voluntarily. Generally, this place is ok.

This hotel is family-friendly and the waiters are very kind and warm. The temperature of the hot spring is just good, and you can see Mount Fuji. The food is well prepared, well prepared and delicious. Xiao Huang (the waiter's name) will introduce some fun and worth visiting places to guests. To sum up, this is a very nice hot spring hotel.

The reception are so kind, and outstanding introduction for visiting spots. Very comfortable and quite. Unfortunately I can't see Fuji mountain but the outside view still perfect from the window.

Excellent experience of staying in the place on March 2017. Experienced snow unexpectedly during the 1st day of staying. Welcomed by very warm driver from asafuji. Hitomi who was the person in charge speaks very good English and provides excellent service. The food served were just perfect. The hotel is very quiet too and we enjoyed very peaceful view of fujisan during 2 days of staying. During the 2nd night, we reported air condition malfunctioned and hotel immediately helped us shift to another room which is great. Overall experience was perfect. Onsen is good but it seems underutilized as I always use the onsen alone enjoying the fujisan with onsen.

Great place! The service is excellent, people are extremely kind and helpful and the onsen has a beautiful view on the lake and Mt. Fuji! Here is a photo of the breakfast which was amazing! Highly recommended!

Stayed here overnight. Really enjoyable and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and had a good understanding of English. The food was great and the the views of mount Fuji and the lake were exceptional. Highly recommended.

The number of rooms is not many, but in the top floor there is a hot spring, evening with a dot of stars, looking at the scenery of Kawaguchiko Lake, is really a great enjoyment of life. The meal is rich and tasty, with Chinese and English service staff, very recommended to come here for a holiday.

The warm family style hot spring hotel, everywhere can be seen attentively arrangement. The hotel is near the lake Kawaguchi, the room can see Fuji (not front), breakfast is rich and delicious. The waiter has a good English and a little girl who can speak Chinese.
A Highly-recommendee Small Cozy hotel, located at Kawaguchi Lake side. You can be Fuji from hotel room (partial view though). Hotel staff are friendly and able to speak 中文版.

This hotel is so cozy that I stayed here 3 times in a year. I would recommend the rooms in the 4th floor in which you can enjoy a great view of Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchiko.

The room is comfortable and clean, you can see the Mount Fuji view, the service staff is very friendly and cordial, the initiative to give a lot of assistance, make people feel at home.

We had no real communication problems with the staff during our stay (with help of our limited japaneseknowledge). Very, very nice and kind service. The dinner was a fantasticly tasting kaiseki and for breakfast we had a classic japanese one with many dishes. Loved it. Unfortunately the onsen wasn't a natural one (well, all water is kinda natural I guess ;) )

The hotel is nice, I love the traditional Japanese rooms with tatami and futons. Most of the staff are very nice and try their best to communicate despite them speaking almost no English. Yukatas, one toe-ed socks and sandals are provided to walk around the hotel, and the public baths are nice. The bathroom and toilet aren't as nice as we've seen in other ryokans, they provide with less toiletries (the basics are there though) and the in-room shower is more a container than anything. The food was not completely of our liking. Dinner was way too much to finish it all and, while very nice, I wouldn't say it was worth the price. All in all, the hotel is very nice, but a bit on the expensive side. Also, I wouldn't book any meals again.

This was booked as our overnight stay through Cycling Japan. I was blown away by the service. Dinner consisted of so many courses I lost count. The onsen overlooks Lake Kawaguchiko and into the hills beyond. The staff knew my room number by sight. They even set up our futons while we were eating dinner.

Very comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful. Food is fantastic, they only prepare according to the time given which you can choose from to made sure its fresh. Can call them for free shuttle service upon reaching Kawaguchiko station.
