Although the outside of this hotel building looked old and shabby, I'm impressed by their service and cleanliness. Room is quite spacious, clean, tidy and comes with everything I need for a short stay. I love the bath facilities on the 3rd level, it's a private hot tub and couples can go in and enjoy! Location is a plus. So near to the Fuji station. You can also see Mount Fuji on a clear day from the hotel room. This hotel feels homely and comfortable, no haunted vibes at all unlike some other hotels I stayed. Oh, the receptionist was really kind and he speaks good English! We needed a cab so they called and reserved for us, and even absorbed the reservation fee as part of their hotel service. Upon arrival we were able to store our luggages. We also received bread, yoghurt, a drink of choice, and information booklets on attractions etc. There is nothing amazing happening around this area. Even the receptionist was honest and told us 'this area isn't very happening'. He recommended us to take the train to the stops nearby, where there is an AEON town and Round1 entertainment centre. Will I stay here again? Yes!
