Surrounded by the beautiful nature of Mt. Gozaisho, this was a very warm and relaxing ryokan.
As we expected to arrive later than planned, I called the hotel in advance.
We had program of 1 night with 2 meals at Shikanoyu hotel. Every staff is friendly, helpful and thoughtful with great passions. Meals are yummy and with a quite amount.
I would have given 4.5 if I am allowed to. The room offers fantastic view to the valley. The staff are amazing and the included meals were excellent.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Escaped from the cities for some peace and couldnt have been more perfect.
My husband and I were so pleased to find this hotel. We miss the Japanese buffet breakfast in the sun drenched restaurant. Though dated, it is impeccably clean and well maintained.
I stayed here for one night while playing golf at NEMU CC. The newly renovated rooms and the large communal bath with three bathtubs were very appealing.
Beautiful resort, the baths were pristinely cleaned and well-maintained.
The bathing facilities are what makes this place special and memorable. Lots of people walked around in colourful bathrobes (Yukata), giving the place a relaxed atmosphere.
I choose this hotel because the location is great, near the train station and shopping arcade. You can feel the hotel is old but clean and tidy.

Everything was great! The cabin we stayed at had everything we needed. I loved the aesthetic and the European atmosphere that it gave off! This is literally the best place I’ve stayed before!
Great place for a recharge when touring Japan for a few weeks.

The inside and outside of the hotel were beautiful and we had fun walking around and taking pictures.
The amenities were of really good quality and the shop in the lobby had some cool handmade items.
Beautiful! And some of the best service I have ever received in Japan! (Which is already a high-level service country). Feels like you’re in Europe even though you’re in Mie!
This place gave us a huge upgrade for free, we just asked. Such a beautiful place, only disappointment was that the pool wasn't open.
Large hotel with plently of things to enjoy within. Houses 3 separate onsens with distinct and unique structures to enjoy and relax in. The buffet and service of staff are both professional.
This 溫泉旅館 is situated on top of a cliff overlooking a large sea inlet between several islands, and the view from the room was really incredible.
I didn't have to pay to stay here so my review might be slightly biased, but I genuinely had an excellent experience. There are three public baths, including at least one with an outdoor bath.

Remarkable stay. The hotel is a bit older but has incedible grandeur. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, though communication in English is not always easy. Pools are not in best shape.
Rooms are old. But the service and food are unbelievably great. Staff speaks well English. We had onsan and set dinner there. Food quality is great. Recommend.

This is a major hot spring leisure facility.
If anything, I'd rather say that the hotel has a bathhouse with a hot spring, so to be honest, I'd say a little.
The parking lot is large and easy to park.
The customer service from the front desk and breakfast venue is also good.
I stayed in a Japanese-style room, and it was very clean and comfortable.
The entrance is a Tenrikyo tomb, so it's a bit scary, but the pool, hot springs, and guest rooms are all five stars. The pool has a waterslide, etc.
Miyako Resort Okushima Aqua Forest (都リゾート 奥志摩 アクアフォレスト) is a wonderfully relaxing escape that perfectly blends traditional Japanese charm with modern comfort.
We love the swimming pool and the lifesafe guard is very kind. The staffs are friendly especially the dinner and breakfast buffet. The room is very spacious.

It's a very old school japanese room, wonderful experience!
People are great, they make you feel in a dream.
I chose the Japanese-style room, and it was perfect. The room was very spacious and clean. My friend really loved it because she got to soak in the onsen. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent.
