Their food and staff are great.

Warm and cozy bed and breakfast, great customer service staff very pleasant rooms are okay. Breakfast is OK too. I would stay again for a bnb its worth the price.

Wifi wasn't strong at all. Went for a 2-day retreat. But staff were cordial and the place well kept.

A nice little bread and breakfast. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was polite and nice. I especially loved the paintings in the lobby.

RESTAURANT REVIEW Went there for an evening out for the girls. We were a small group so we didn't need a reservation. Within 7 mins we were seated outside. We ordered and appetizers came quickly. The potato soup was more like a broth than a thick cream soup that I was expecting. Entrée was delicious; curried shrimp pasta and parmesen cheese chicken. The chicken was merely fried chicken with a bit of powdered parmesean on top of pasta. Again not what I was expecting. Desserts were good, our server was also polite… reception was good. I would go back.

The customer service was great, the food was good and the ambiance of the place was great. I would definitely recommend it to any one. Well done :)

I recently dined here for Restaurant Week and the experience was a very good one. The food was good and the service was also very good. At the time of my visit the Hotel was being renovated and as such I am unable to comment on the rooms. The property however appeared to be secured and well kept. The hotel is located in a good neighbourhood in close proximity to Jamaica House and Kings House aside from the Hotel's Restaurant, TGI Fridays and other restaurants are in walking distance with Ligunea being 5-8 mins drive away.

My family went for restaurant week and it was great! The service was fast and friendly. And the meals were all amazing. Loved it!

Very confusing check-in process, took over 2 hours to sort out pricing. They quoted a price by email, but once we arrived at the hotel, they would not honor the quoted prices. The rooms also smelled very musty, and the images online do not represent what the rooms really look like.

Nice get away place. Very secluded.

Clean, centralized and quietly comfortable. A most commendable place. No swimming pool tho.

The location is great for a hideaway in the city away from the Kingston hustle n bustle, they don't have a pool so yea that sucks, food tastes great and the staff is very courteous. The room is quite satisfactory could do with some upgrading though. Apart from the fact that there's not much of a view to look at through the windows the quiet surroundings make it a sort of relaxing place.

One of my best dine-in restaurants in Kingston to date. The food is always delicious and worth every penny! The ambiance is not bad, but could do with some work. However, I've been to other restaurants with more attractive decor but the taste of their food doesn't come close to Shirley Retreat's! You should definitely give them a try if you haven't done so yet.

This place was great the food the service the environment it was just simple excellent!
