Excellent staff and very well priced. Rooms are clean with smaller bathrooms. Breakfast is very good and wide variety. We all ate dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and reasonable for the high quality of food and service. It’s a hidden gem. Bar staff are fun and friendly. The whole staff from manager to housekeepers were the most helpful and delightful people.
There are people smoking down below outside my room and the smoke flooded in when I opened the window. The room is very stuffy and is now very smoky. Internet is terrible and there was no hot water in shower. Staff was not at all interested in helping us with internet issue. Hotel needs major inside renovation. The old fashioned door requires you to lock yourself in with a key. The TV can’t stream Netflix due to poor Wi-Fi signal. Scaffolding on windows outside blocks all light. Great location and breakfast was good. Self serve coffee machine and table service coffee a plus. I stayed here as part of a tour and wouldn’t stay here again.

I was with a group tour and when we arrived and got my room, the room was very hot. I came downstairs and said something to the management and they told me that they would move my room, but when I saw all the rooms they were giving me they were all un renovated rooms, which I was not interested in taking since I had a really nice room they brought in a air-conditioning unit said that would get cooler. PS even my chocolate started to melt in that room, they moved me finally to a smaller room, but in the meantime, the people at the desk were saying some things in Italian, which I had no idea, but I know they were not happy with me. It’s a shame. This is a really good location and if the air-conditioning was working, maybe I could give it more stars, but they got the stars for the location and we did have dinner at the restaurant which was very good. Breakfast was good. The room that they started with was a nice room. The shower was something I was not happy with it looked like it was just a tin standup shower, but it was nicely decorated and clean.
The room I ended up with was smaller than the original room I had and I did look at four rooms and all four of them look like it needed renovation and I was not gonna stay there finally out of desperation I took the last room they gave me which was air-conditioned not as cold as I would’ve liked it 77Degrees.
The bathroom was private and then the shower was in the closet.
