Owners are lovely very welcoming and kind. Great location 10 min walk to train station. Rooms are very traditional but the A/C wasn't brilliant but overtime it did make a decent difference. But overall fairly good.
Spend a few days in Florence in late October with overnighting here. It was simple but with the very good quality to price ratio. The host was very friendly and helpful. A good breakfast included. Nice location in the centre of small town.

Don’t go there if you have kids. We booked a large family room last summer with 3 beds (2 twins and 1 Queen) for a group of 2 adults and 2 children. I thought it should be all good as my kids are small. When we were there, the lady was rude and outright refused to let us check in. She asked us to pay for 2 rooms and canceled the original booking with booking. Com but they were only giving us one room. We repeatedly expressed that we were fine with the family room and that’s exactly why we booked it with 3 beds. She didn’t budge a bit and asked her husband to guide us to cancel our original booking. His husband said he had done it many times before with other guests and that’s why he was proficient. We ended up paying 50% more with only one same room. This had suddenly become one of the most expensive rooms in our trip. If they were giving us just the same room, why did they insist to charge us for 2 rooms? That made no sense. Since it was already like 8pm and we didn’t want to find other places which was stressful with kids in a place out of nowhere not even close to Florence, we gave in and paid the extra price which was really not worth it. Have to mention that the room was not great. The bathroom had bad smell, Wi-Fi is almost unusable, no TV, and there’s nothing to see on the hilltop. If you are driving, be careful with the narrow winding roads.
