La Chicca B&B Siena Bed and Breakfast

This family-run B&B is in an original 1920s villa, ten minutes walk from the city centre in a beautiful, leafy, quiet neighbourhood. Our room was huge with all original period furniture, tiled floor and a painted ceiling. The breakfast was the best on our trip — all home made cakes, and impeccable service.

The b&b is in a great area, quiet and with the possibility of car parking a 10-minute walk from the center. Large and clean room, varied and hearty breakfast, friendly staff. Super recommended!

Very classy place, near the old city, a breakfast to die for.

Nice, friendly and clean. No mini bar or other opportunity to obtain water or a drink. Unstable Wi-Fi. Very conveniently located near the center. Our bed was quite short with just 180cm in length.

I can hardly imagine a better accommodation than La Chicca. The beautiful two-storey villa, dating back to the early 20th century and perfectly renovated, is located in a quiet, elegant residential area just outside the walls of the old city – a perfect location, especially for those who travel by car, as parking is free and easy to find in the streets around the villa, while an accommodation within the old city, where non-resident cars are not allowed, would imply high parking costs. The western border of the old city is 600 metres (0.4 miles) away, while both Piazza del Campo and the magnificent cathedral are a 15-minute walk away from the B&B. The view of the acropolis on the way to the old city is breath-taking. Besides the location, during our stay at La Chicca everything was perfect. The owners are exquisitely friendly and helpful, our room was impeccably clean, our bathroom was large and comfortable, the Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, the breakfast was good and abundant – we particularly appreciated Claudio's homemade cakes. Overall, the value for money was excellent. Before booking, please consider that only four of the six rooms have their own private bathroom, while the remaining two rooms share a bathroom. We stayed in one of the two rooms with the shared bathroom because it was the only one available, but it was clearly specified in our reservation, so it was no big deal for us.

Such a lovely hotel, very close to all the sights. The hosts couldn’t have been anymore helpful, it was a pleasure to stay there.

A newly-opened bed and breakfast, about two years, which I recommend to everyone at Siena. It is located in the area of San Prospero, the stately area of Siena, rich of yesteryear. And in fact, this bed and breakfast, which define bed and breakfast is really an understatement, is a liberty of beginning 900 with high ceiling and a friendly service management of Silvia and Claudio, who with Dario and his wife run great. Super honest prices. Top quality!

Really nice people with a warm smile and welcome. We can recommend this place to anyone. Very wide range of breakfast foods that should cater to all tastes. Easy walking distance to the middle of the town.

Incredible stay — We couldn't have asked for a better stay, Siena itself and its beautiful historic centre is a 10 minute stroll away from the B&B which sits in a quiet street lined with typical Tuscan villas. The B&B is run by a great young couple who were always at hand and happy to assist with our (many) demands and questions! They welcomed us as if we were entering there home and the B&B has a very homely feel to it. Beautifully renovated to a very high standard with many original features expressed and a very modern bathroom. The breakfast was a great selection of breads, pastries, cereal etc and more than filled us up. We will definitely be back for another visit and would highly recommend to friends and family.
