Absolutely loved this place! Felt like we were in a dream world. Romantic, and enchanting. The grounds were stunning, the rooms were clean and the food was top notch.

This rustic chateau, situated only 15 minutes from Siena, offers guests a remarkable degree of peaceful, quiet beauty. The grounds are extremely well maintained.

Such a hidden gem! We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are clean and well appointed, the staff is friendly, warm and welcoming. Enjoying the breakfast in the beautiful garden was the cherry on top.

Fabulous hotel room at the top of the tower (55 steps) and 42 steps. We bought sandwiches and wine to sit at the little room at the top that night and look over the roofs of Siena.

In October 2024, we spent a month traveling across Italy, staying in a variety of accommodations ranging from one — to five-star properties.

We had a wonderful stay at Certosa di Maggiano. The fact that it’s a former monastery gives the whole place a very special atmosphere: full of history, character and quiet charm.

This is a wonderful hotel only a few minutes outside of Siena and a n excellent base camp for exploring Tuscany. We did easy day trips from here to Florence, San Gimignano and, of course, Siena.

This is tremendous value if you are on a road trip, particularly with children, looking for a base in Tuscany. The apartments are spacious and excellently furnished.

We had a delightful two night stay at the Borgo Grondaie in Siena. It is well located near the foot of a set of escalators that lead from the Siena FS to the upper level of Siena itself.

We were stunned at the beauty of this hotel. It is actually a palace which has been converted into the most wonderful hotel.

This is a very grand and luxurious hotel in a great location. The room was beautifully appointed and we had a gorgeous view over Siena and the Duomo.

This is an amazing hotel! Perfect location in the city center. Architecturally stunning and yet comfortable. A small palace built in 1215. We were in room 8 for 3 people.

We had a wonderful experience in Hotel Athena. From the very beginning Emiliano went out to greet us and helped us with our luggage, he was very friendly and kind and made us feel welcome.

Beautiful property with great service. I am a Marriott lifetime titanium elite and reserved two rooms in this hotel on vacation with my kids.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Ermellina. The complimentary parking is a huge plus and it makes a great base for touring around Tuscany.

Great location if you are driving in Tuscany. It’s about 7-10 mins drive from the parking lot near town center in Siena.
Room is a bit basic but with that price you should calibrate your expectations.

The hotel was very clean and the service so friendly, kind and helpful. The location was tough to get to anything. We had to Taxi everywhere. The sidewalks were not usable as there are none.

Everything was amazing for us. Nothing to complain about, the people were very kind, the food was great and the services were awesome.

We booked 2 nights and extended to 5 nights to use this as a base to explore the surrounding medieval villages by public transport.

The location was perfect, and the room was clean and recently renovated. The large bathroom and effective heating made for a comfortable stay. There was also a nice common area for tea and coffee.

La Chicca is a great B&B. The house is set in a stately, quiet and beautiful neighborhood away from the hustle of Sienna and yet it is walking distance to the centro of Sienna.
