Excellent. Wonderful family and wonderful building. For all the others comments, it almost 1000 years old. There are not going to be modern amenities. Get over it. For a very old awesome castle this is a really cool place to stay. Just know you are going to a castle. They’re family restaurant about 4km away is wonderful as well. Incredible food.

Great experience.
Lovely location, the castle is fantastic and the room in the tower is beautiful, the 360-degree view of the hills of Siena is lovely.
The common room with the fireplace always access is really an extra touch.
The friendliness with which we were welcomed is truly unique.
Breakfast is served every morning with local produce and on-site honey and jam.
Highly recommended, to try if you pass by Siena.
